In the mail today came an invitation to New Year's Eve at Harrah's Rincon. Nothing special is indicated in the invitation except for a dinner. There won't be any free play at the event except that they will be giving out the one million dollar prize on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately you have to be present to win.
Are you going to go? Spending New Years trapped at the Rincon seems pretty crappy to me.
I have reservations at Caesars. It hasn't been publicly announced who the entertainment is. While I and some others have been told who they are trying to sign, the contract is not yet final. I've been asked not to comment publicly. The actual invitations for the Vegas casinos have not yet gone out in the mail. I think they are waiting for the signature on the Caesars contract.
