Note to Dan Druff

In his poll thread, accountinquestion made the comment that I had been leading likely based on sock puppet use. I would appreciate you verifying both that (1) I am not currently nor have ever used a sockpuppet on this forum (I have never used a sockpuppet on ANY forum) and (2) it's kind of stupid to say I was likely using sockpuppets when I didn't vote at all.

If you have the technical ability to verify these things, I would appreciate it. I suppose account made the comment to see if I would respond in some way. Rather than responding to some anonymous handle who may not gamble a cent, I direct the comments to you. Since I am a real person posting under a real name, claims of sock puppet use have direct effects on my reputation.

As it seems you mostly post from cell phones, using cellular data, these IPs are not specific to one person. Home IPs are a lot better for tracking people this way.

However, I still have "ways" to tell if someone is using a sock puppet account, even if they are using cellular IPs.

From everything I can see, redietz is not using any account besides his own.

Actually, Dan I never post from a cell phone. As in Never, Ever. I literally post 100% from my laptop. Even traveling, I lug a laptop with me.

I do use both a T-Mobile hot spot at home and have a backup hot spot for those occasions when the local internet sucks, which happens too often, especially when the students come back from break all at once. Does hot spot use mean it's cellular data? I'm not knowledgeable regarding what tech looks like what. My home use is through XFinity, which is a cable company. Using the hot spot shows up as "HQ Mobile" when I sign in, so I assume that is a cellular signature?

Would I be correct in stating that, when done correctly, You can't tell for certain?

And anyone who's a legitimate AP betting online would know what's needed to fool you and the tools you use. If there are ways to fool online casinos who are actively trying to fuck players out of thousands, it can't be all that hard to fool a forum.

Not to mention, a simple and easy way without any knowledge. Just have your friends from different locations/states etc make an account and vote for you.

I honestly don't think Red, Singer or KJ would care to do all that. Actually, Singer probably would.

I don't really care. Honestly. I just find it odd that this supposed, huge winning, high rolling player is spamming people behind the scenes to vote on a meaningless poll. And I call it meaningless even with the most votes. It is a popularity contest, not a poll about credibility.
