Religion clearly doesn't seem to do much for ethics. The problem is people can pretend and abuse it just as easily as they can practice it. If you're given rules then told it doesn't matter what you do - as long as you believe, then what is the mechanism of producing morality that is different from growing up in any reasonable community and family?

You know what one of my big problems with Jstat was. He talked like he was a professional player, making a living from his play. But he was a mailman. There is nothing wrong with that, but come on, there is a major difference in playing for a living and playing recreationally. And it is a little offensive when a part-time recreational guy is telling ALL (not just me) but ALL the professional players they are wrong.
And finally, something priceless about Jstat. he made several videos to "prove his points" about his Jstat count. he would deal the cards and go through all the motions. Of course he had pre-arranged the cards to come out and show exactly what he wanted. :D It was good stuff.
