Just another reason why I had zero interest in potentially being reinstated over there with qualifications a few years ago. There is a reason I set the record for suspensions over there before being banned. Idiots need to be called out and Darky is right near the top as King of Morons.
Most everyone realizes that D.Oz is stupid. Of low intelligence. There are similarities between him and UNKewlJ in terms of exaggerating and boasting.
But D.Oz probably is, at least on some level, pulling money out of the casinos, although - of course - he implies a lot more than what he's really netting. It certainly helps that he hires street people from the dark side of his family who would probably work for the price of a meal. That sort of slave labor keeps costs low.
But it's hard to believe that someone with such a misfired brain (just look at some of his posts) could be successful, at anything. He did wind up homeless that tells you how much of an innovator he is.
I'd say that someone that stubborn and inflexible is doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. HOMELESS - or close, again, most likely.
D.Oz the Idiot aside, most every stock I care about is now lower than it was before the election November 2024.
Grump was the one who kept saying in 2020, that "if you like your 401K don't elect Biden or the markets will crash." Well they sure didn't crash under Biden, but so far they sure have crashed under Grump.
I expect though, that eventually Grump will negotiate the easing of tariffs, because he's vain and doesn't want to be remembered for this chaos. And no, I don't think that the end game of this level of tariffs will result in any real benefits that could be appreciable within four years.
I don't think his and Elon's cutting is saving the federal government much, and the burden from these tariffs and mass deportations is overtaxing the system. Where will the money come from?
Trump tariffs are working. He fucking got their attention. It's been just 3 days and all countries have contacted the White House since April 2. Canada is caving. Vietnam says they want to move tariffs between us and them to zero. But it's more than just tariffs. It's the VAT taxes and regulations too. Trump will wipe all that shit out.
The rest may talk tough but they will cave soon enough. When their country has a big trade surplus with the US, they ain't the ones holding the cards. They can't dictate shit. Get smart and raise their tariffs even more, we do the same, and their punk ass surplus dries up.
Manufacturing needs to come back. The jobs pay almost double what service jobs pay. Trump made this move early on to give business a chance to ramp up well before the 2026 midterms.
Trump is doing all this for the middle class and working class. They are the ones that stand to benefit the most. And also for national security. Yeah, I know, all that anecdotal bullshit about Trump helping his rich friends is just that, bullshit. Hell, he just cost them about 3 trillion in short term loss (the market will recover and go even higher). So stifle it about Trump and his rich friends.
The stock market was down 60% in 2008/9. If you bought stock in 2009 its worth over 4 times that now.
The only chance manufacturing comes back is if there's consistency on this from politician to politician on this stuff, and Trump has zero consistency himself about it. I can't wait until most of the rest of "service" workers are replaced with robots though.

NFLX 850s in the AH. That is about as low as it has gotten in some time. I'd buy it here for a bounce without much hesitation were it not for 850s being a double bottom, the first bottom being about this level about exactly a month ago.
