I think the probability of Biden's VP pick being black has just gone up with this racial unrest.

What the fuck does that have to do with Coronavirus????
I’m still trying to figure out what people are protesting. Everyboby agrees what the police officer did in Minneapolis was wrong and he should be charged with murder, which happened.
Usually when there’s a protest one side doesn’t agree with the other side. In this case, both sides are in total agreement. So why the protest?
This is something some people (mostly liberals) have a hard time understanding. There are 800,000 police in America so there is going to be a bad apple here and there. That’s not defending what police do when they do something wrong. That’s just a fact.
Police offices are humans too, so they all aren’t going to be good. No matter how much training police depts do, you’re gonna have a couple bad apples out of almost 1,000,000 police officers. That’s reality.
It’s the same with the military. There are going to be a couple bad apples.
Is that what we’re protesting? Perfection? If it is, it isn’t going to happen. We live in a fallen world and it will never be perfect no matter how many rules and laws liberals want to impose on Society.
And for the record this was not a random person the police treated this way. I’m not excusing what happened, since it was well over the top and the officers should be charged with third degree murder, which occurred. But this guy had committed a crime, he was on drugs and he was resisting being put in the police car for 10 mins.
The police out of frustration then imposed street justice on him, and I believe they’d have done the same thing to a white guy who behaved the same way. I don’t believe this had anything to do with race. I personally know white kids who were roughed up by police for minor offenses, prior to when iPhones were around to capture this abuse. I know one who took a policeman to court for this. His dad was a lawyer.
I believe what happened in Minnesota is a crime like any other and should be dealt with by our court system. I believe the book should be thrown at this police office and he should spend time in jail for third degree murder. But I don’t believe there should be rioting every time something like this happens. What’s the point? To be able to get some free things out of a Walmart?
Protesting without an objective is a bit silly and provides coverage for these other parties whether criminals, antifa, or the bugaloo boys. IDFK. I agree.
There is still a lot of racism on how people are treated, but with enough experience in life it somewhat dulls you to it. I'm basically racist. Always have issues with black people and I live in a very white town. Some great black people here and I try to not be, but I don't have enough energy in me to be a 100% idealist in life. I've had/have black friends and you feel for them.
It is hard to say what motivated that officer to put his knee on his neck like that then hands in pocket for maximum weight to basically choke the guy out.
Third degree murder but look how long that shit took. He was basically let off by the police department for this. He'd be fired at worst and could then just go find a job somewhere else. Doesn't matter what you think should be done, that is what would have happened. Thats what you don't seem to get.
They should arrest every other officer for manslaughter for being part of all of this.
So yea, cops will be cops, but cops need to stop protecting their own. That is a diseased brotherhood. One dies they have a 2 mile long procession. When one of them murders someone over BS they all look the other way. Fuck that.
Personally I've taken all my pmags and put in green tipped ammo.
Excellent Bob....The officer was charged, probably rightly so and that`s still not enough....what`s funny is that you didn`t see any protests when that piece of shit was filmed in the nursing home beating up defenseless elderly white people....the funniest shit to me is seeing 15 year old white boys and girls at these protests that have no idea why they`re even there lol....as far as the rest, just another excuse to act out, steal, and run amok.....also excellent point you made about the guy out committing a crime and high as a fucking kite....not saying that he deserved to die, but like my grandfather used to tell me, "sometimes when you go looking for trouble, you find it"
You really think the government murdering people is somehow equivalent to some low wage nursing home attendant abusing elderly people? lol at you "conservatives".
Heres the thing that amazes me that you seem to fail grasping. Everyone knows that nursing home guy will be prosecuted. It was just race-baiting division shit. You see trash people like James Woods trying to make the comparison... but these are all trash people. Without protests, that cop would have walked. Those who can't see the difference are part of the problem.
Keep swimming around in the ocean making up nonsense to prevent from drowning there, buddy.
First off, I`m not your buddy Mr. Cunt, I think you`re an idiot...now that that`s clear, yes I do think beating a defenseless senior citizen is equivalent to kneeling on some high as a kite criminals neck....why is it not, because the senior citizen didn`t happen to die?
You’re kind of missing my point accountinquestion. I agree this was a heinous crime and the police who stood by and watched it should be prosecuted too.
My point is why protest? Everybody who saw the video knows what those police officers did was wrong, and we have a justice system to deal with it.
And if we want to look at racism within the Police Department how about what happened last year with the black police officer who shot an innocent white woman and killed her. It was much worse than anything that happened in the current case. In the current case at least the guy was a criminal, a druggie, and resisting arrest.
She was innocent and did absolutely nothing wrong and was shot by a black police officer. Even his partner could not defend what he did.
Did a bunch of white people protest, riot, and claim all police abuse their power, and all police try to kill white people? Did they see this as an opportunity to steal things from their local Walmart? No. They saw it for what it was. A one-off “bad apple” policeman who committed a henious crime.
And our court system dealt with Noor and he’s now spending 12 years in jail, which I think is not long enough for taking an innocent person’s life
If you want to know the case I’m referring to it’s Noor (a black policeman) shooting and killing Diamond (an innocent white women). And this happened in Minneapolis too, with liberal Democrat mayors and police chiefs and libs in about every other part of their local government.
It’s amazing how anybody can still be a liberal after seeing what’s going on in Minneapolis. Liberal policies have not been shown to work anywhere in the world, but there are still diehard liberals like you and Midwest player. Sad!
You guys are great at making my point. So I looked into this case. This woman's family won $20 million from Mineapolis police department.
This current guy was a druggie and this and that, but they slowly choked him out over a prolonged period of time where multiple people pleaded for the cop to stop. It was an event where the cops had many many chances to simply not continue restraining him in the manner they were. This Noor guy had some second of bad decision making. (yes, I heard the story before - had to refresh my memory.) He is now serving 12.5 years. Yes, it took some time to get there. See, whites aren't too worried. When a black guy does it, it was his fault. What about Philandro Castille? LEt me see. Ok, his family got 3.8 million. Cop not found guilty but he was fired. Black man is worth 1/5th of black woman. This sounds like a debate of the Founding Fathers.
Why are they continuing to protest? I agree it doesn't really matter when you have no objective which makes it all hazy. However, in the end pressure needs to be put on the police structure to police their own. Sitting around chanting kumbayah doesn't cut it.
Yes and Rodney King got 4 million 28 years ago and was given a free ride for driving high thru the streets and resisting arrest, so what?.....Police are always going to protect their own, it`s human nature....I have a good friend that is LAPD and works 77th St division in South Central LA....some of the stories he tells me and the shit talking and abuse they get on a daily basis makes you wonder why more of them don`t snap
There was an issue with the way the officer in the video conducted the arrest, not in how long it took to bring charges. They ended up bringing them before they got the results of the autopsy, which did not have the results you would expect watching the video (autopsy says cause of death NOT strangulation/asphyxiation, rather his pre-existing heart conditions/drugs/restraint combo) so there’s a good chance he gets acquitted of murder guilty of manslaughter and then all hell breaks loose again. Mohamed Noor was charged after 8 fucking months, Chauvin was charged within four days.
That’s sad. So it looks like you really think these protests will actually work, and be able to address a couple bad apples in a nation with police force that is almost a million strong. If you believe that, our side has no hope.
Remember these incidents are happening in one of the most liberal cities in America.
I’ll let you in on a little clue. There isn’t one nation in the world, even the most liberal nations who don’t let some of their cops have guns, that hasn’t had a couple of their law enforcement officers step over the line, and do criminal things.
The real problem in these communities isn’t the isolated policeman going rogue; it’s the liberal polices that have infected these communities since the 60s creating a cesspool in the inner city. But these polices were able to create a loyal Democrat voting block, so I guess that’s all that matters to you liberals.
It appears you don’t really care about these people like us conservatives, who want something better for them then endless government handouts with no real hope.
I was using the examples Bob gave and seeing what the actual outcomes were. I was not cherry-picking, unlike what you're doing. Being a cop is a tough job at times, not so tough at others. Depends a lot on where you are. So what?
But again, it isn't that cops snap, it is they "snap" and get off with a slap on the wrist. And again, you refuse to understand or for whatever reason lack the capacity.
In fact, you have written it off as acceptable behavior. When there are so many people like you, who give everyone a pass, then I think that should answer Bob's question about why people protest. Too many guys like Keystone.
So the white lady vs philando Castile debate the settlement isn’t a good argument at all. They were settlements not judgement huge difference. The racism argument you’d have a point on there would be why was Castile’s killer acquitted?
Conviction vs acquittal obviously might make a difference in what a police department is willing to make as a settlement offer; but if you want to just compare settlements without context the question isn’t why is whites lady with weird last names life worth 5x more it’s why did Castile’s family value his life at 5x less than white ladys family, settlements don’t happen without both sides accepting unlike a judgement.
How is he "getting a pass?"....He got fired, he lost his career, his wife is divorcing him, and will soon be spending many many years behind bars....WTF more do you want, a public lynching in the Town Square?.....never said I found it "acceptable" either. Just have less sympathy when street mutts are out doing street things, something bad happens, and then they`re memorialized as fallen heroes
Accountinquestion, now you’re outright lieing and misrepresenting what Keystone and I said. No one is saying what these cops did is “acceptable behavior”. In fact, in my posts many times I said our justice system should throw the book at these police officers and put them in jail for as long as they can.
There is a big difference between saying someone “understands the behavior”, and it’s “acceptable behavior”. Liberals have a hard time understanding this distinction.
It’s no different than the riots going on today. I understand their behavior, even though I don’t think it’s acceptable behavior.
Their behavior comes from a community that feels like they have no hope, due to the liberal policies that have been pushed on them since the 60s. And any little thing will light the fire and set the riots in motion.
When you say "thats just how it is" "Cops going to protect cops". This wasn't even cops protecting cops, this was that not one of those cops had the decency to tell the cop to stop choking the guy to death with a knee to the back of his neck. Numerous people standing around did.
If you think cops shouldn't be held to a higher standard, then you find the status quo acceptable.
Well don't be a fucking retard and wonder why people loot. *ME*? I want fucking accountability. I now have to pay fucking franchise tax to the state on top of all the other taxes because my LLC does a million in revenue. Those fuckers can sit there and do that, then when looted they're literally under 0 obligation to defend your store/property. IS it too fucking much to ask that of your government?
https://mises.org/wire/minneapolis-r...-your-property Read this all you fake ass "conservatives".
Why are you blaming conservatives? It’s the liberals that are in control of every part of Minneapolis’s government. In case you didn’t know this, Minnesota is a blue state, and Minneapolis is the liberal arm pit of Minnesota. Even Ohio sometimes gets smart and votes Republican in presidential races. As for Minnesota they are a lost cause.
Here’s a little known fact about Minnesota. When Reagan won in 1984, Minnesota and the District of Columbia were the only electoral votes not won by Reagan. You heard that right, Minnesota is on the same level as Washington DC when it comes to liberalism.
And you can now see the end result of all this liberalism: Rioting, unrest, basically total chaos. And guess what will happen in Minneapolis next election? They will vote in more liberals. Liberals never learn. Their policies have never worked, but they keep trying.
Their policies just create division and a permanent underclass, but this permanent underclass is what keeps libs in power. They just need to deal with riots every so often. I guess that’s just the cost of liberal policies.
Accountinquestion, I know you’ll never vote for Trump because you’re upset he marries European women, instead of Americans. At least that appears to be your biggest complaint with Trump, since you mention it anytime you talk about Trump.
And your hero Howard Stern doesn’t like Trump because he doesn’t think Trump wants to hang out with Common Joe, as if any president does. You libs are really screwed up in what you think is important in a presidential candidate, but it shows how you think.
You probably want another candidate like Obama who runs around the world apologizing for America. Sad! At least you have a buddy on this forum that thinks like you in Midwest Player.
You’re right Bob. Next election in Minneapolis will just bring a different liberal progressive mayor.
When the mayor there let the precinct fall all hell broke loose. All that did was embolden the marauders, basically take what you want, as if stealing and burning has anything to do with George Floyd.
But I don’t see anything changing in that city and state.
TBH I've quit reading this. Not blaming conservatives at all, but for them to think everything is fine and there there is no reason to protest is a bit absurd. Not sure what to tell you.
You're a statist and love government.
Hero Howard Stern? I used to listen to him, haven't in 5+ years really. He just knew Trump going back decades and has a fairly keen eye. I found his observation sorta funny and dead on.
You're putting far more words in my mouth than I ever put in anyone else's.
Who said everything is fine? Have you seen what is going on in Minneapolis? I mean it's a mess and it's being run by liberals. The only way a city this screwed up will ever get better if they elect some conservatives into office. More liberal ideas won't fix Minneapolis, or the current situation.
Liberals are the ones who love government and all their poverty programs that has caused this mess, and a permanent underclass. But I guess it keeps liberals in power and that's all they care about. Apparently they and you don't care about the permanent underclass you guys have created.
I'm referencing the situation with the cops. I thought you were asking what they were protesting, as if the current situation is fine.
It is a bit absurd to think the black American situation came about just because of government handouts. I've never believed that. You act like everything was hunky dory before. We really have no clue how much liberal policies made their underclass what it is. You can believe that all you want AND it is a common justification "conservatives" use for hating social programs.
If it was up to me, I'd give pay for them to have abortion and anyone who wants their tubes tied can get it done and walk away with a lil cash.
Yeah really, why are they protesting anyway when everything is Hunky-Dory? It’s not like this happens on a regular basis or anything and then the police are not held accountable and it repeats over & over again.
Now if they were protesting wearing face masks that is something I could get behind.
And fuck Colin K., aren’t you glad we didn’t listen to him? Sure that was a non-violet protest and now our cities are burning down, but nah we don’t wanner see that shit during our football!
I’m not really digging into just from there so familiar with the stories. I’m just really frustrated, I understand being upset with law enforcement and most of us are, and it appears in a good number of places the protests have been mostly peaceful, but in Minneapolis by in large they absolutely have not been. MANY People not just a few bad apples have been actively trying to indiscriminately destroy the city and are going after the easy targets rather than law enforcement, throwing the baby out with the bath water. Here it’s difficult to see many people as trying to change anything rather than just destroy things. The general local sentiment by late Friday evening had gone from being sympathetic and mostly supporting the protestors to now almost all the sympathy for them being gone. That’s difficult to do, you really have to mess things up to turn the sentiment of one of the more liberal non coastal cities in America against an anti racist protest.
Here is my pick for Biden....
https://www.tmz.com/2020/05/31/j-r-s...-protests-nba/
Good article. I’ve always wondered why this aspect of the pro-second amendment rights arguments is not pushed more aggressively, yes the 2nd amendment is a check on government tyranny, but also the police are not always willing or able to protect you.
Many people don’t know that the supreme court has ruled that the police have no duty to protect you.
Antifa and it's allied organizations may burn our cities down but they would never think of cheating with mail in ballots. Snicker. Snicker.
Why shouldn’t Trump have said what he did about Colin K? Are you one of those liberals who only believes in free speech for certain people?
Trump isn’t a PC president, in case you haven’t figured that out by now. He says what he believes, which is what most normal people are thinking, but can’t say because of all the PC police.
Yes, Colin K had the right to do what he did, and the owners had the right to kick him out of the league, which is what they did. Even Steven Smith acknowledged this and sided with the owners and he’s a fairly liberal ESPN commentator.
People who want to protest while they’re at work have that right, but the employer also has the right to fire them. And the NFL owners did fire him since what he was doing was impacting their business. Fans were staying away because they didn’t want to go to a football game and watch a stupid protest. Fans have rights too.
This is what liberals like you don’t get. Most people don’t come to work protesting something; they do it on their own time.
As a liberal, I’m sure you wish you could pass a law where you forced businesses to allow left-wing lunatic nut cases to protest while at work.
He should have just shut-up and let NFL handle it. Like every other President. No idea what you are blabbering about with free speech. It is all the fake-ass conservatives who get the first amendment confused.
Okey dokey, if you say so. Well, when you think Mexicans are rapists but "assume" some are good people. Good luck with that sort of talk. He lost me then with those statements and there has been no looking back. You are a trash person. I get that and you accept that. Now, lets move on.Quote:

I have no idea what you're blabbing on about. I understand the first amendment better than all you fucking fake-ass conservatives who complain about social media censoring people and such. President was completely in his rights. No shit Sherlock.Quote:

Accountinquestion is a typical liberal. Look, he can’t even defend the topic at hand, Trump speaking out on Colin K. taking a knee during the national anthem, so what does accountinquestion do? He goes off in another direction.
I do not defend everything Trump says. I agree his comments about illegal allian Mexicans being rapist was wrong. Again, I do not agree with everything Trump says, but with regard to Colin K. he was spot on, and the majority of Americans agreed with him.
If Colin K wants to protest fine; just don’t do it during work. Colin should have some respect for his employer and to the public who didn’t come to a football game to watch protests.
I get liberals like you probably like watching protests while you’re watching some sporting event.
You keep going on about Colin K. The NFL could have handled it. Trump weighing in put him squarely on one side. He has continued with his divisive rhetoric. I will never accept that as Presidential behavior because I have some respect for the institutions and how I expect leadership to work. I despised GWB but damn, that guy at least was a leader. Wrong, but he was a leader. Trump is a divider.
You guys got what you want and now you want to sit around and whine about it.
You love your straw-men. This is about Trump and his words. I guess I got some concession that you "didn't agree" with his talk, but you bend over backwards to support him near always. This may have been the biggest concession yet.
I’m not so sure about that. Colin’s cause was so stupid it was hard for anybody to know how to handle it. Trump was able to bring to light how stupid this protest was. The NFL would have had a hard time doing that.
Colin K was protesting against something where everybody - and I mean everyone - is on the same side. His protest was against police brutality. I haven’t met one person, on the right or left, that is for police brutality.
Usually when people protest it’s over something where there is someone on the other side. This could be the first protest where everybody is on the same side.
A couple news organizations even showed cities where police chiefs were marching with the protesters against police brutality. You couldn’t make this up if you tried. Even police are marching with people protesting against policy brutality.
Here's a tip for all you churchgoers out there. Avoid arrest by disguising yourselves as rioters.
Uhh, because one was done by and covered up by the government. The other one had 0 chance of being covered up by government once the evidence was known.
And yes there is a difference between hitting/slapping someone vs choking them out past the point of death with multiple people pleading around you to not kill the guy.
How is it so hard to comprehend that some police chiefs wish to acknowledge the problem? 'Couldn't make this up if you tried'. As if this act is so incredible to you. It shows how completely out of touch with reality you are. You must live in the most white section of whiteyville.
The fact that you don't know anyone for police brutality doesn't matter if nothing changes. You can see video after video. My gf has a friend who as tear-gassed. Said there were only a handful of people in Lansing MI. Was all peaceful and here comes the tear-gas.
"Protest - but peaceful". If you protest within the rules of whatever the system is, then it isn't really a protest. This is another thing I'm sure will go over the heads of you folks. You're all about as patriotic as a pack of rabid raccoons.
Cocksuckerinquestion, I have no clue what your first statement means at all....and it sounds like you condone a defenseless senior citizen getting beaten and terrorized by some lowlife thug is just par for the course because they didn`t die...why so angry all the time?....I thought all you potheads were supposed to be mellow fellows?
I called you buddy, and you corrected me then go off with all these other insults and you want to think I'm the angry one? hahaha
You people are so weak minded. You convince yourself of the most stupid shit.
In real life, I avoid basic bitches such as yourself.
Apparently somehow any video of a criminal is somehow analagous to the murdering of this George fellow and somehow validates that the cops did this. You weak minded fools make up the most STUPID shit just to be right in your own heads.
#winning
You are wise to avoid people such as me in real life. Better over the computer. You`re not as dumb as I thought lol....please show me where I said that cop or anything he did was "validated?"...I simply asked where was your fake outrage over the defenseless senior citizen getting beaten up by that trash bag was....oh never mind, you already said they were just "slaps"
#dumbfuck
I'm not sticking up for the police as I don't like them.
However, that move on the neck has been done millions upon millions of times for decades in every city around the world.
This is not the first person to die from that move.
Power to the people though.
I didn't realize a race war or riot would be the excuse for the Government to deploy the National Guard all over the country.
Now they are talking about deploying the Army and other Armed Forces.
On a another note, I received a bunch of Free Play from the Stations Casinos.
They are giving me Free Play on the first but the Casinos don't open till the 4th.
It's a considerable amount.
I will be asking them to add that to my account and what about all the Free Play I lost when they shut down in the middle of March??
They owe me Money!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_szR1Q2ZsI
Let me get this right. You're pissed at me for not being manipulated by the same shit you were manipulated by?
Of course that man should be prosecuted. Was he let off after the tape?? What am I missing? How is it relevant? Where is the government corruption?
What the fuck. Are you really this fucking stupid?
You aren't pissed off at me, you just care enough to make up custom names for me.. okey dokey retard.
I don't do that with you. I call you retard but thats just being factual, retard.
It is pretty clear had the murder video not went viral and such it would have been covered up enough that the most we would have possibly seen was a firing. Which just means they have to then go get the same job elsewhere. Anyway, continue on, retard.
Any video that has a black guy abusing a white man shows that the media is fake and only showing one side of the story. lol. You were manipulated BITCH.
I really only made up one for you. Acuntinquestion was too easy so I really take no credit for that. Cocksuckerinquestion really just came to me today, so you kinda got me there. As far as the rest of your nonsense, you`re barking up the wrong tree here....Your fallen hero was committing a crime, high as a 2 bit whore, resisted arrest and something bad happened to him courtesy of an obviously racist cop, who is about to get what`s coming to him....I don`t deal in what if`s, such as what if the video didn`t go viral...it did, and the cop is gonna pay the piper....obviously that`s not enough for you so perhaps you should join your brothers in protest. I`m sure there`s someplace nearby where they`re running amok....you might even pick up a new TV while you`re out there lol
Did you see Biden's speech today. He says he knows how to end systemic racism. I kept thinking....why didn't he tell Obama that when they were in the White House?
Do you really not see the massive amount of peaceful protesting that is going on, or are you just trolling?
Are you serious? What are they protesting? Police brutality? Can you tell me one person, right or left, black or white, green or purple, who is for police brutality?
So basically they are posting something everybody in the world is against. So what's the point?
More to the point, what will these protests accomplish? What do they want to change? Do they think these protests can control what all 800,000 policeman do every day?
So are you saying every time some "bad apple" policeman commits a crime (and, yes, some policeman somewhere is going to commit a crime in the future - it's called reality) we are going to have to go through these "protests", I mean riots, again?
Did you know Minneapolis is one of the most tolerant liberal cities in United States? This is the city where most of the cops are doing bad things, killing innocent people. Why can't they stop it? Because Minneapolis hasn't had enough "protests" or riots?
I mean a black police officer shot and killed an innocent white women a couple years ago. Did you see a bunch of "protests" and riots when this happened? I didn't. Why don't innocent white women lives matter? Why don't they get some riots in their honor?
I truly don't know what these protests are trying to accomplish, because I don't know of any police dept in United States that is promoting police brutality. They are all trying to make sure it doesn't happen, just like we'd like nobody to ever murder anybody ever again, but guess what, it happens. That's what our justice system is there for to deal with "bad apples".
See Wasila, what you don't get it is more akin to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. These guys close their eyes, click their heels, say they're in agreement against police brutality and thus everyone should just accept shit service from the government.
Those 2 black kids who were pulled out and tazed for no reason and had hteir car vandalized? The cops have been charged and have to turn themselves in by the 5th.
Bob21 is a fucking idiot. Things have already changed. Businesses don't like this. This is capitalism. It sucks that the systemic shit is not an issue to so many people. This is the natural result at some point. You have the great divider of a President that basically has encouraged this shit.
He's now tear-gassed clergy for a single photo-op because of assholes like me doing #bunkerboy. It is par for the course though.
I do agree though that the police brutality is amplified via social media. It is probably better now than it has been ever in the past. It is just with cameras, we're not willing to accept it at even the level we see.
One question: How are "protests" and riots going to improve things? I mean we've been working on it since the Rodney King riots over 25 years ago. It seems like it is worse now than it was 25 years ago.
And why is this problem worse in cities controlled by liberal mayors and liberal police chiefs for 50 years? Are you saying these liberal cites are promoting police brutality? If you are, then why are you are liberal? Is it because you like police brutality?
Maybe you and your liberal buddies are the problem and making it worse. Have you ever thought about that?
Jesus you're a nut. Please make a post trying to place blame somewhere without using the word liberal 5 times. Aren't you the one who said this is the 'liberal playbook'? to blame others?
My guess is these liberal cities have a lot more blacks. In my state, the conservative cities have significantly more issues with violent rioting, but I don't go around trying to make bullshit points to justify my views to myself.
I wish I could, but liberals are mostly to blame, so I have to call them out.
Name a conservative city that has “more issues with violent rioting”. Name one. You can’t because you just made it up.
The fact is rioting is worse in mostly liberal cites, and that has always been the case. Even in Texas, which is a conservative State, the city with the most unrest is Austin, a liberal city. And don’t get me started on Seattle.
What I’ve notice with you accountinquestion is you just make things up to fit what you want to believe. Have you ever kept up with things in your life? Or do you smoke so much weed, life is a blur to you?
What are you using to arrive at your conclusion about Texas? You say I make up things. How do you know there more violent rioting in Austin versus Dallas or Houston? Please do tell. You are conflating "unrest" with rioting. There are real protests that aren't violent. You need to be specific. You're all over the place.
Per capita my statement is correct, Austin has been worst than Dallas and Houston. Here’s something you probably don’t know, Dallas and Houston have more people living in their cities than Austin.
I don’t know what you call “rioting” but most people would call vandalism and people being injured while “protesting” in the “rioting” category. And this is going on in Austin.
Whenever I read articles about the rioting and protesting (I know libs like you see these two things as being the same) it’s occurring much worse in the most liberal cities, like Seattle and Minneapolis. Liberal cites don’t believe in law and order. They like criminals running their cities.
Cities run by conservatives like law and order. Yes, there are some bad guys trying to cause problems in conservative cities, but conservatives know how to deal with them; they arrest them and put them in jail.
Being a bleeding heart liberal, I’m sure you think it’s awful a “rioter” (or in your terms a “protester”) should be put in jail for not obeying the law.
These are the hard numbers the main stream media won't tell you:
Cops made 10,000,000 arrests in 2019
Cops killed 41 unarmed citizens while making those 10,000,000 arrests.
9 of the 41 were black.
9 is the typical number of blacks killed by other blacks on a typical weekend in Chicago.
89 cops were killed last year.
The brainwashing of college kids by radical professors and the dishonesty of the main stream media (fanning the flames of discord), and the willingness of liberal politicians to let it happen, is the cause of the protests/looting/rioting going on this past week.
The Minneapolis Police Department is now under investigation by the feds. This is what will happen. The feds will "find problems." The Minneapolis Cops will adjust their services so as to make less contact with citizens. Then violent crime stats in Minneapolis will double.
Excellent post Mickey! I will be sending this to some of my family and friends who sometimes get into arguments with goofball libs like accountinquestion about the facts around police and police brutality.
Facts never get in the way of libs trying to defend their position.
I asked real clearly to show me something to back-up what you said. You make up shit when claiming I made up shit. Tell me how Austin had more violent protests than Dallas. From what I'm seeing they deployed tear-gas ONCE and that was to clear the highway.
https://www.dallasnews.com/news/2020...ice-brutality/
One girl was knocked over by a cop on a horse in Austin, but I don't think they ever cleared any streets outside the highway.
Dallas had this going all over. I could go investigate Houston, but the above is enough to show it is *YOU* who is making shit up.
You have no pride, you stand for nothing. Even the bible you purport to believe in means nothing. The man you endlessly defend gasses clergy at their own church, just to take a picture where he holds a bible upside down. You say nothing. Can't even criticize him for that. He is above your religion. You are trash.
Thanks Mickey! I sent your post to a lot of my friends and family, and got back many positive comments. It really puts police brutality into context. Who is killing who? It looks like the police are getting the short end of the stick, and they are the ones defending our neighborhoods.
Rather than praising the good work that most of our cops do under very tough conditions, people like accountinquestion trash them.
I'm sure I'll get some reply back from the biggest die-hard liberal on this site, accountinquestion, defending the right for people to riot (I mean protest), because accountinquestion sees police brutality as the number one problem in America. The problem is police brutality and riots mostly occurs in liberal cities. I wonder why?
Yeah I love the black & whites.
My dad was quite the pool player. He had more trophies at home than you could shake a stick at. In the 70's he owned a little beer and wine bar in San Diego that was heavy on pool tables. I took up the game when I was young and to this day shot my best pool when I was about 12 years old. It wasn't uncommon for me to team up with my dad and take on two other men at the bar, and beat them. Definitely different times when a kid could hang out at a bar.
A couple things about the movie the hustler. Willie Mosconi spent a couple months teaching Paul Newman how to shoot pool. Still, with a lot of his shots, all you seen were the hands and the stick as Mosconi took those shots.
Jackie Gleason grew up shooting pool in Brooklyn and the local pool hall owner backed him in money games. Gleason insisted that all his shots be filmed panoramic so those watching knew it was him and only him making his shots. When top professional pool players were asked what movie star would make the best professional pool player they pretty much all named Jackie Gleason.
Willie Mosconi appeared in the film racking balls for Felson and Fats.
Pool hustler New York Fats (Rudolph Wanderone) watched the movie then immediately changed his handle to Minnesota Fats and toured the country doing exhibitions becoming quite famous in his own right.
In the opening scene the bartender that set the balls for the trick shot was former middleweight champion Jake LaMotta.

Looks like someone else is thinking like I am. If anybody has been watching this top 10 list over the last couple of months, it has just changed significantly. The top three on the list are now all blacks. I like number 2 on the list Keisha Lance Bottoms.

MWP, it's good to see you're keeping to your liberal roots and voting based on gender and skin color, rather than substance or policy.
This is where you and conservatives are different. Conservatives vote based on substance and policy. Conservatives also care about the people less fortunate than them, so they want to make policies to help them out. Liberals don't care about these people, so they keep policies in place to keep them down.
Liberals like you just want politicians who will keep blacks and the underclass down so you have a voting block to keep your people in power. Sad!
Based on your other post, it looks like you also want to take guns away from the police so they can be killed by the bad guy. Sad!
You've got some real problems.
Dems are really scared of losing the black vote this election cycle. Trump doesn't have to crack it that much to win. Trump brought about the lowest black unemployment rate ever, 5.4%. And he did the prison reform that Obama wouldn't do. So you can bet Biden is going to pick a black running mate. But the dems will also keep up their scare tactics. Every 4 years they preach doom & gloom to blacks if a republican is elected. But once the election is over you don't hear it again until 4 years later.
Dems keep doing things to shoot themselves in the foot. The rioting and looting of liberal areas of the country is not conducive to keeping liberals that are affected by the violence in the fold. Another area that Biden and Dems are fucking up is police reform, now better known as police defunding. The liberals that live in these areas are not stupid. They know that police defunding will triple and quadruple violent crime rates. And you are now hearing from ultra liberals like Leo Terrell, a black civil rights lawyer in Los Angeles who appears regularly on Hannity. He says he will not vote for Biden if Biden backs police defunding.
Dems are going to have a very hard time holding the black vote together this election cycle.
