Maybe you need to contact management and work out a deal like dancer has for VP. ;)

Ok, first, thanks for that "KJ is like a woman" comment. I really appreciate that.
Second, please don't bring your Ryemo/KJ conspiracy theory here. No one here even knows who Ryemo is. I myself only became aware of this odd thing you are pushing a few days ago. So I am going to comment here for your benefit.
I am not Ryemo. (for those that don't know Ryemo is a member of several BJ sites that Moses seems to be fueding with.) I am not even sure what that feud is about. I do communicate with Ryemo privately occasionally, not frequently. I also participated on his discord site a few days, but didn't care for that format.
I can understand a little bit why you might think that I guess, because on the topic of blackjack, Ryemo and I have similar philosophy. When he posts, more often than not, I find myself agreeing, although I don't even think we are on the same sites except BJinfo that has little traffic.
The fact that Ryemo and I have similar outlooks and philosophy involving the game is not a coincidence. Reymo is a little younger than me, I believe and I believe I had an significant influence on him as he was getting started, as I was quite active on the top BJ sites at this time (before the Norm Feud limited me from the top sites). I don't know if Ryemo would agree that I had an influence or not. That's up to him. It would be nice to have someone say I had a positive influence on them in the wake of all these players blaming me for their play not being what they excepted and/or every other thing under the sun.
BUT, Ryemo, I believe has now gone on to more than just BJ, unlike myself. He probably has surpassed me as an AP and maybe even a BJ AP as most do. I am comfortable with my level.
Now here's what I know about Ryemo (don't know if I should be saying this, so will try to keep it general.) He doesn't live in Vegas. He plays here some, because he lives in Nevada, but plays and talks about many other places. He is also married and I believe has a kid or 2?? And while I haven't met Ryemo, and don't meet many AP's there is one AP that I have met that has also met Ryemo. A top BJ guy on and off several forums. So maybe you should talk to him about it.
I mean, I personally don't care all that much. I am not offended. Maybe Ryemo is though. I'd say it's not fair to him to suggest he is me. But whatever, if you have a problem with him, that is between you and he. I honestly don't even know what those issues are. But don't bring me into it, here or anywhere else. I already have enough issues with my online participation. lol
Here is how ridiculous they are. It wasn't my last backoff there, but probably one of my final ones. I have basically given up on SP. So I get backed of as usual, and I think after about 3 minutes. I honestly don't remember the words used, but I know there was no mention of trespass. I thought it was the usual "no more blackjack", but I honestly can't say for sure.
So I step away from the table and was milling around. My chauffer wasn't in the building, as he was at a casino about 3 miles south of SP, so I had time to kill. I wasn't cashing my chips, because I didn't want to supply them with that good face shot opportunity that comes at the cage. So, like I said, just sort of milling around and all of the sudden these two guards approach aggressively escorting me to the door.
Ok...whatever. So I get outside the front door and sit down on the bench and immediately am approached by a bicycle guard, demanding that I get off the property. Oh they were making a big show of it. The intimidation game. Big wow. So I walk off the property towards that timeshare or whatever it is that is right next to it and the bicycle guard and a guard in the little patrol car are following close behind. What morons.
So I wasn't about to have my partner/spouse pick me up in front of them, didn't want them having the car/license plate info, so I had to text him to meet me down the road and walked like a half mile towards the M.
I tried to google up / find a pic of the custom T-Shirt that Aaron Hightower of WoV made about SP; IIRC it showed the SP name in usual format, except he changed the name to "Sweat Point."
Like his empirical DI experiment: pretty cool.
That’s a perfect time to walk incredibly slowly, when they’re following you but nothing else can be done.
At your suggestion Alan, I watched the video a second time.
Here are some comments:
1.) Did you happen to notice where Eliot says he has been out of the game for a few years? I mean this discussion is about the lastest model that HAS popped up in the past few years. So Eliot says he has taken apart and looked at older machines. Un hun. That's like saying "I have looked at personal computers from the 1990's and they are not capable of doing this or that".
2.) As I said earlier, the example that Eliot focused on, high cards clumped at the front of play, is one possibility. 1 of 3! The high card clump could also be later in the shoe or even after the cut card, which means it would not come into play. ALL 3 OF WHICH ARE ADVANTAGOUS TO THE CASINO. Where it is would be is determined by the player who cuts. All the machine does is create the clump. The player cutting determines just where it will be. My AP friends are going to hate me mentioning that.
3.) If you listen to Eliot, although his intent is to "poo poo" the idea, he actually makes the case telling why that 1 or 3 possible scenarios is advantageous to the casino while being disadvantage to both card counters and regular players at the same time.
4.) Boy, Eliot doesn't seem to be aging well. He looks old. Maybe it is all these years of living with guilt of stabbing his fellow AP's in the back. I mean he always sort of looked like a space alien, now he looks like an OLD space alien. ;)
You failed to mention the criminal element. Then you'd know what it's like to create a stir and suddenly realize you have no friends. Everytime your hindparts hits the chair, you should be thinking about the quickest escape possible. Yes, they are ridiculous. So you're think you going to change them? O hell no. STFU, be safe, and watch your back. Assume everyone is watching.
From post #182
KJ. See what I mean? You're just like a woman. You go off on a completely different tangent. I didn't cook the chicken. I didn't eat the chicken. I only bought the chicken. So why in the hell is it up to me to clean the kitchen? Like having a damn pet coon in the house.
There is no reason to create so much work that doesn't really need to be done. i,e, KJ and Ryemo. In blackjack. Win today. Play tomorrow.
So I will try to be more direct. My point is you and Ryemo cannot seem to just humbly accept your achievements and rewards. You've got to brag about it and convince others to join. We have an opponent, a very twitchy one, who is only as strong as their weakest link. They win by forfeit. AND you two constantly push the limits on those opponents. YOU scare the ones who believe your crap. So they bounce the next guy that comes in and makes a grand. They don't want their shift being the one that gets hit.
Why do you need approval and/or a following? Please answer. Is it a woman thing?
When did winning stop being enough for you? You want to save the planet from blackjack? Join the little old ladies group at church.
Just received an email pointing out that I missed the big take-away from Eliot's video.
5.) Eliot, a failed AP, has made a living in recent years as a casino gaming protection consultant. He gets his money from the casino industry. Did anyone expect that he would do anything other than protect that industry that feeds him and shoot this down?
What are these quotes that you are posting? Things about buying and cooking a chicken? I am completely lost as I am sure everyone else is? I have no clue what you are talking about and do me a favor...please don't explain it. lol
I don't need nor have a following. Are you nuts? Have you not been paying attention? I have far more players criticizing and blaming me than anything else. I have people publicly making posts asking for a picture of me, my address, phone number. And when I say "people" these are players or former players upset because their results weren't what they expected or their 'careers' didn't go as they planned.
I have never encouraged anyone to follow in my footsteps and take this path. On the contrary, I much more often dis-saude players (which they don't like), telling them, they may not be cut out for BJ AP play. I'll bet I have posted a hundred times on many different sites that despite that I play BJ for a living, IMO blackjack AP works best as a supplemental thing, supplementing one's career or job, or retirement. Have living expenses come from some other source, something more stable and play BJ as a hobby, that can be profitable, or supplementing ect.
My own brother, I said these exact things over and over and over. When he decided he wanted to play blackjack like me, I even put off teaching him for a whole year, making excuse after excuse, hoping he would lose interest and find some other passion.
So don't give me that "I convince and/or encourage anyone to join or follow me". That is Bullshit and I resent it!
What I do try to do is share my experiences, my journey, my knowledge. Others did this for me, and I will try to accurately do the same. Share the good the bad and the ugly. I don't remember you being on the forums (BJinfo) when I was getting started. Maybe you were. Maybe a different handle. Maybe Tater...lol.
But at BJinfo my first few years, you know what I shared. I shared how I was earning 31 thousand dollars....Not 31k a year, 31 thousand over my first 3 years. That is $10,000 a year, and one of those years was like $9200. The McDonald's employees were laughing at me. :(
4 different times I have shared 6 month losing periods as I was going through them and the mental drain of that, especially when you haven't built up decent monetary reserve. In 2014, at WoV I shared a year that I made $27,000 from blackjack, again, McDonalds employee ballpark. That is $27,000 vs expectation of accumulated EV of $85000 by the way.
So don't you dare tell me, I have sugarcoated anything, nor encouraged anyone to follow me. BULLSHIT! I have shared my experiences, good and bad and I will not apologize for that. Others did that for me. And even though there is no benefit to me doing so, I intend to return that favor as long as I participate in this community.
And yes, as part of that I share actual numbers, again the good 80-100k years and the bad, $10,000 and $27,000 years. I think you have to share some actual numbers so people know just what you are talking about. And my best years, of averaging 100k (75-80k from blackjack) are not mean as bragging. That kind of money is nothing to brag about. That is a decent living, not get rich money. But hell yeah, I am proud of that. I am proud of where I am and where I came from to get here and now 15 years of supporting myself from AP play. If that comes off as braggart, I apologize. I will try to temper that down, but I won't apologize for being proud of my moderate accomplishments in the blackjack advantage play.
So anyway Moses, How are things in Northern Nevada? I hear they cheat up there. ;)
I agree with this.
The Eliot video wasn't very helpful (but thanks JSTAT, for posting it).
He was too focused on the clump of cards being at the beginning (and not elsewhere in the shoe), and the whole video was pretty much in the vein of, "I haven't played in a few years, I don't know if this is happening, and I don't know how they would be accomplishing it, but here's my take on it."
Useless.
The point of the video starts at 6:33
Moses asked why kewlJ is doing this, and why he can't just keep his mouth shut, quietly win, and leave the casino policing to Nevada Gaming.
He also wonders what kewlJ feels he's accomplishing by posting his findings.
I have an answer for that.
Exposing things like this will only help players in the long run -- both APs and recs.
Why?
Let's take this situation.
Let's hypothetically say kewlJ has discovered something real, and the casino was cheating using a modified Shufflemaster.
At the very least, word will get back to the casino that they've been caught, and they will stop doing it, fearing consequences if they continue. At the most, this will get the attention of Gaming, and the casino will be punished for it.
Either way, the casino will have experienced a negative consequence from being caught cheating, and will think twice before attempting further shenanigans.
As I said before, even if this particular cheating instance is exploitable once discovered, the next incidence of cheating may not be exploitable or easily discoverable. I think it's absurd to advocate keeping casino cheating quiet for the good of APs. This only encourages future bad behavior.
Casinos are like any other business. They will bend and break the rules if it results in more profits, and will only cease or avoid such behavior when consequences loom. Facebook was selling our data for huge profits until the February 2018 scandal where much of this was exposed. Large industrial companies will heavily pollute the environment until such pollution is discovered and they are fined or threatened with other consequences. Large consumer companies will screw each consumer for a small amount of money until a class action lawsuit costs them $200 million. You get my point.
Publicizing suspected casino cheating is always a positive for all players.
I saw a comparison to the Uston case in New Jersey, and what it did to blackjack there. Indeed, the blackjack games declined in AC after Uston's case made it illegal for casinos there to back off players for counting. In response, the AC casinos simply made the game conditions unbeatable through counting.
However, this is a poor comparison. Backing players off isn't the casino cheating -- it's simply a form of combat against the AP. So, yes, it could be said that the elimination of the backoff made the game beatable for zero APs, whereas before the game was beatable for APs who had a good enough cover or system to where they weren't detected.
But reporting suspected cheating? That should be done every time, and the only ones who should be upset about it should be the casinos themselves.
Okay. So now the lady plays the I don't understand you card. Therefore, you must be crazy. KJ. Just play the game and keep your mouth shut. No one is cheating you. You are just too lazy and stubborn to advance your game. Tarzan would be backed off from that game his first day. Because he knows how to adapt. On the other hand all you know how to do is bitch.
Fingers will point at you when every DD game in Vegas becomes 6.5 and 50% pen. Let's see who picks you up then.
A following is the need to tell some newbie who probably can't comprehend, doesn't exist, or will be off to something else in a week, of your alleged conquests. Why? Why not just keep doing it.
Dan. I truly hope you are correct. But history proves, casinos do whatever the hell they want and conditions get worse. Especially, when someone forces them to lose time, money, and inconvinience. KJ has already done all three. There was a day when single deck was 90% pen.
You're the expert on chips. Are you sure it can't be beat in a pitch game? I'm fairly certain I'm already doing it. Provided I get enough pen.
Thank you for weighing in Dan. IMO you don't voice your opinion enough, I suspect for fear of it looking like you are taking sides on different issues. I am glad you did here, because with all sides attacking me, I need someone reminding me that it was just the right thing to do.
And I suspect idea that it IS the right thing to do is at least in part why you chose to weigh in on this one.
It is sort of a shame that some of the AP's here and elsewhere have lost sight of that. Throughout the years on different sites, I have seen comments about how AP's and players that play for a living and spend so much time in casinos seeing so much "wrong" they become hardened and lose sight of the bigger picture of what is right and wrong and the values they were raised with, replaced by that 'chase for the green'. Sadly I think some of that has been seen through this discussion.
Ever consider why it's ALL sides? Don't worry, when it all comes down several will remind you.
KJ. You are trying to mix two worlds. There is the world outside the casino walls which should be right and wrong. Unfortunately, it is not.
There is the world inside the casino walls which is about win and loss. Perhaps hustle or be hustle. Shooters and targets. IF you're trying to be everyones, includings APs, saviour. Try telling a hooker and her John they are doing wrong in the middle of their negotiation. This world is not for the meek. "Don't look for trouble, it will find you soon enough. Be prepared when it does."
Yes. I will still stand up for and defend those who cannot protect themselves from bullies. Some call it a weakness. Others say it's strength. It's simply who and what I am.
Shhhh. lol
