It's like this. The play was given to me, by a friend AP (much smarter than me) who was unable to play in at the time as he and his people were working on something else. He couldn't pocket it, because he knew it wouldn't last long. He thought it would last a matter of days actually, so he threw me a crumb (for an agreed finder's fee). My brother and I got 16 days. The first 13 just the two of us. The last 3 turned into a bit of an AP gathering. What do YOU know about that? ;)

Afterwards I searched the city for more of this opportunity and while finding none, and am going to continue looking for more. So I will give no details until I am convinced this opportunity is gone for good and will never return ANYWHERE.

I just wanted to know how good it was. A simple question........ what was your advantage advantage on the play? Why is that so complicated of a question?

Let me give you an example. I had a blackjack side bet play that was worth a 10% advantage and you could/ would baet $500 on the side approximately 30 % of all hand played. The main bet was a $10 min bet with a. 5 % disadvantage. I was getting out 59 hands per hour on average.

Oh Axel, relax. I think part of the problem you and I have always had is we have mis-interpreted when the other is kidding. Probably have way different senses of humor. I am not blaming anything on you.

I honestly don't know the answer to most of your questions and am not smart enough to figure out on the fly. Here is the way it went down. I received a call on a Sunday evening about a play from a fellow AP that sometime seems to like me, sometimes seems not to. He told me how to play it. What I had to count (specialty level one count) and when to bet. It is about every 4th round that is profitable. He said it would be perfect for a 2 player team and we could each expect to make $400 an hour. That is 4 times what I make an hour and 5-6 times what my brother makes. If we hit or came close to that expected value for at least 3 days, I agreed to a 20% finders fee. If we did not, we agreed to discuss it afterwards. I don't know how that $400 hour broke down, what the advantage was each time we bet and how many such bets we would get each hour. I will try to figure it out or maybe ask him and get back to you privately.

The reason you were even on my mind is because he was sure the play would only last a few days and other AP's or teams would swoop in. I immediately thought of you and that is a compliment because you are top notch and seem to know all the plays. So on day 14 when another player showed up and played very similar to us for hours and then 3 players (including that first guy) showed up on day 15 and 16, I knew none were you, but again thought they might be associated with you. Whether or not they were really doesn't matter. This play was not going to last long. I am pleasantly surprised it lasted as long as it did. I am not blaming anyone. Everyone else had as much right to it as us, maybe more, because I wouldn't have figured it out on my own, had it not been 'given' to me.

Why do you think this matters at all. What difference does it matter what link they put in the suspension list. Everyone that has any interest and reads, knows exactly what is going on. And if you don't then I will spell it out for you.

Mdog is an insure, rich dude, seeking attention and approval. Born into a wealthy family, his family thinks of him as the fuck up that he is. Given every advantage in life, he has managed to get a degree from an online college and a law degree from an online college, that no state outside of California will even recognize. So he practices law as an ambulance chaser, when not gambling. He is a life long losing gambler. I guess he enjoys the comps, that he pays for with his losses.

So seeking attention and approval that isn't coming from his family, he has this ridiculous story about beating baccarat. He is the greatest baccarat player ever. Dealers and pit bosses tell him he is the greatest ever and pat him on the back and high end strip casinos comp him their best suite for a solid year now.

And Michael Shackleford, who runs a forum supposed to be about the mathematics of gambling and the reality of Las Vegas allows and enables this BS that misleads people. Shackleford claims it is the name of "free speech", but his idea of free speech is pretty one sided.

People that know Shackleford better than I, tell me he is very naive and gullible. So either despite his math brilliance, he is one stupid, gullible fuck or he is now part of this fantasy, make believe "adventure", being paid to keep silent and enable this insecure, California fucktard.

It is really no different than some of these you tube scammers. Sure Mdog isn't selling anything.....he is seeking approval and admiration. But that is what some of these youtubers are about as well. Instead of you tube, gambling forums are this frauds platform, and Shackleford complicit for providing that platform to mislead people.


So what difference does it make what reason they give for suspensions or what they link to. The fact is that anyone who objects to Mdogs bullshit or dare say they don't believe it, or that is not the way the math or Las Vegas works, will be suspended and silenced as part of this protection Shackleford is giving Mdog. And the other moderators, who will tell you privately how much they hate what is going on, are too cowardice to say or do anything publicly.

LYING. Here's the thing. Should WoV or any forum police everything said or claimed as far as truthfulness? Of course not. But repeated claims the magnitude of Mdog's or not to pick on him, but Singer's....yes. It is the math and to a lesser degree reality of how things and Las Vegas works that should be the very low bar that must be cleared for claims of this magnitude. A person just shouldn't be able to claim things that defy math, or defy and or how Las Vegas works. Mdog's claims defy both.

With Singer, Shackleford interviewed him at least twice that I know of, once written in article form and once on camera more recently attempting to get to the bottom of claims that didn't clear that bar. Why has no such interview with Mdog been set up. Even worse, Shackleford has agreed not to talk about it? Why would the guy who has always wanted to get to the bottom of things do that?

So if Shackleford has allowed himself to become mixed up in this BS, whether having been paid, or just by being gullible, how about somebody else? I would like to see Munchkin interview Mdog on GWAE. Since most of the GWAE interviews are done by phone now, Mdogs anonymity would be protected. And I am quite sure Munchkin would ask the questions that need be asked and not allow Mdog to gloss over the math and the way Las Vegas works without challenging that.

Mickey, any chance you could drop Munchkin a line and suggest an interview with Mdog, a guy who claims to beat baccarat for hundreds of thousands of dollars and lately claims to have beaten blackjack for hundreds of thousands of dollars while being comped a suite at Cosmo for a solid year now? I am very confident Munchin would ask the questions necessary to get to the bottom of this that Shackleford seems unwilling to ask.

The man posted almost daily for 7 straight months accounts of his play that totaled 500k or more in winnings and then in one single line "that wizard and I have gone over my records and I am about even for this trip" those 7 months of lying claims disappeared. Exactly what damages are there here to this Mdog person? I see a guy on the internet claiming to be an attorney and offering legal advice and council to people. His credentials to do so should be revealed.

So again, where are there any damages? The only possible damage would be to his credibility because people could then look into who he is and his claims and see they were not true. So I guess maybe his ability to continue to lie and deceive was damaged. MrV, is that a thing? a legit damage?

Now, I actually have easily documented and provable damages. However, it is not in my best interest to pursue anything like that right now. I suppose this person was counting on that fact.

I got a message saying something like,"This IP Address has generated an excessive amount of Email Addresses. This IP Address is permanently blocked from making new Email Addresses."

Tasha, not trying to be mean to you, but nobody cares that WoV FINALLY blocked your ability to make new accounts. THAT should have been done years ago. And they haven't really blocked that ability anyway. Just at the lowest most elementary level. Everyone understands this.

Now I would like to get back to the proposal I made earlier today. I know coach belly wants to hijack and deflect and take us down an unrelated rabbit hole, but I am going to keep coming back to this:

After a year of these claims by Mdog of winning that defy math and claims of living in a high end comped suite for a solid year, I think it is time to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Wizard did several interviews with Singer attempting to get to the bottom, I don't see why this should be any different. Unfortunately, Wizard's protecting this Mdog and his claims for the last year and his own admission that he signed an agreement to not voice his opinion have disqualified him from that role.

But there are others qualified to do so. I mentioned Munchkin earlier and an interview on GWAE. Munchkin would definitely ask the right questions. I am sure Richard knows of the situation and claims, maybe not followed along every step, but he knows the general situation.

But there are still other possibilities. Dan Druff does some sort of podcast doesn't he? I am sure it is on the topic of poker, but being an AP that understands the math, he could do an interview with Mdog and ask the necessary questions.

Next possibility, Eliot Jacobson. Eliot has done video power points on this very subject. I am a little concerned Eliot wouldn't want to get into the questioning of someone, the confrontational aspect though.

Another possibility would be James Grosjean. James certainly would ask the right questions. James has a blog that almost every legit AP reads, perhaps he could tie an interview into his blog. James may want it to be an audio only interview understandably.

There are a number of possibilities of legitimate AP's and Gambling math experts that could ask the questions necessary to finally, after a year, get to the bottom of this situation of claims that defy the gambling mathematics. Isn't it time for something like this?

Mdog you are welcome to have some input and say as to what you would require from such an interview. And a NDA of the person questioning is off the table. :rolleyes:

I am not looking for a battle royale. That is your kind of thing. I want to fairly get to the bottom of claims that defy math and reality that have been repeated almost daily for a solid year now. I welcome Mdogs input so as to try to make this as fair as possible.

Shackleford should have been the ideal candidate as he has played this role before, most recently with Rob Singer. It was over a year ago that Shackleford said "it was time for Mdawg to put up or shut up", meaning time to get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately, Shackleford disqualified himself by agreeing to a NDA (and possibly money changing hands as part of that), that guaranteed he would NOT get to the bottom of this.

So I just want to go back to the original premise, with someone else that is qualified that hasn't disqualified themselves and finally get to the bottom of this.

I will tell you what would be a good interview for Alan to do, would be to interview a top strip casino executive and find out just what it would take, what kind and level of play it would take for a player to be comped a high-end suite for a solid year. And whether it would make any difference if that player won hundreds of thousands of dollars over that year rather than losing the required amounts. :rolleyes:

I understand the answer is that comps are based on amount wagered (action) and theo loss based on that amount. But there is a point that if the player is winning, winning, winning and showing no expected loss, that the casino says wait a minute now. And that point is long before 365 days comped in the high end suite.

Casinos are run by pencil pushers now and for the last 20-30 years. Guys (and girls) with business degrees. And they are interested in the bottom line and the bottom line is they aren't giving a comped suite to someone that isn't showing a loss for 365 days. That simply is not how these billion dollar places on the strip were built, nor how they operate.

I mean what is the value of such a suite. The casino will place an over-priced value of several thousand a night right. If it is the higher end suite as Mdog claims maybe $5000 a night? So at 365 nights a year, that is a value of a million and a half if they rented that suite instead of comped. So if someone is staying in the suite for a solid year, they are expecting multiple million dollars in losses. I mean seriously, how long do you think they put up with a player winning, as Mdog claims and still comp the suite. It is just way beyond ridiculous that he claims a comped suite for going on a year (less 2 weeks in December when he returned to California), and claims all this winning on top. That is pure fantasy.

Now you take out the claim of all that winning and replace with losses equal to expectation and the story begins to make more sense.....more in line with how Las Vegas works.

There are many, many other things about this long running claim that don't work either. Remember the "mansion" purchased in Las Vegas last June for mid 7 figures? That would be 4-7 million. Never mentioned again. No move in. No nights spent there.

I am willing to let all this other crap go and just have him interviewed by a gambling math expert and explain how he has won at a negative expectation game for a year now. 2 negative expectation games as there have now been several months of blackjack mixed in. If he can do that and the math works, I will apologize and say no more. But the story as he has told it for a year now can not be. And the guy that is supposed to stand up and say that has been paid or otherwise manipulated into keeping silent.

Mickey, I don't follow this Mikki dude. I know some of you do and are agitated by him, similar to how some are agitated by Christopher Mitchell and the blackjack army guy a few years back. You Tube has basically become a platform for these scammers. Very low bar.....The math has to work. These claims going on a year for this trip, but really much longer because the claims started several years ago with other trips. that low bar has not been met. First, I have not read the Josh Axelrad interview. Can you link to it. I used to communicate privately a bit with Josh, but lost touch, so would be interested to read it.

Second, your omission by me was intentional. I don't even know where you are on this issue as you have been all over the place, arguing on Mdogs behalf.... arguments I don't think you actually believe, but just were in one of your argumentative moods. Mdog is actually using quotes from you on another forum. Quotes I believe taken out of context, things like "You find him more credible than me". And since you have not pushed back on that I feel like you may not be the unbiased person to do such an interview. By the way, it is very hard for me to even read Shackleford saying anything about free speech as I have now twice been forced to accept a truce to not voice my opinion about certain subjects and people (a penalty imposed on no other WoV member). The behind the scenes discussion on this between Wizard, the Mods, MDawg and Marcus would be amazing to know the details of. There is definitely more at play here than we got from Wiz’s public statement. It does appear OD was the one doing the dirty work exposing the lies about the game in the picture. Since he visits here and occasionally posts it would be nice to hear from him, but I’m sure he can’t comment. Something also made Wiz then determine all of his claims were BS so they accounted to trolling to the point of a ban. Very few other than socks or spammers have been nuked without a suspension over the years.

The other interesting thing is what was Marcus’s game all along? I’m not willing to believe either way if he was a MD sock but what was the play? To justify the things MD claims to make the impossible seem possible? Since no one believed his claims, sock or no sock, Marcus just increased the absurdity of the claims to the point it pissed someone off enough to further investigate them.

It had nothing to do with Rob vs Rusty, which are a complete 180 as far as forum likeability goes, in my book. Shank was just a shitty interviewer, who omitted many important questions. I think I have been leading the charge that Marcus was a Mdog sock or at least one of several very adamant about that. Now here is the thing. It may not be a sock puppet in the traditional sense that we have come to know, one member creating a second account, the likes of Tasha/nathan, or Singer/Jerry Logan or Moses and several of his imaginary friends.

The Marcus sock may be more that he is a separate person, in a separate location, but I still refer to it as a sock puppet because it is someone, like a friend or family member working with the original member (in this case Mdog) being fed what to say, to lend credibility to that original member when there is no real person that is backing or giving that credibility.

And Marcus escalating his claims of late, boy that is exactly the M.O. of Mdog. Traditional sock or someone that Mdog is controlling, I still call this account of Marcus a sock puppet.

I've no axe to grind at WoV, I enjoy posting there, and I've met / broken bread with Mike and think he's a good guy.

At the Kewadin casinos in northern Michigan, if it's a min double they commonly use the term "hit", since the player is not doubling his bet.

The player doesn't have to signal or announce "double" , "double for less" or "hit" at the table, the distinction is only relevant after the outcome of the hand.

His decision is evident by his betting action, and the lack of a "stand" gesture.

Essentially, you can buy one more card for table minimum. And don't confuse this with Spanish 21 where you can continually hit on split aces without any additional bet.

Catch Shacklefords latest response in that thread: Do the police tell you exactly how much leeway they give you above the speed limit before pulling you over? It's part of the game to figure out how we enforce the rules.
