Dan deleting posts and threads ?

JBJB: I had to think about it for a few minutes. But I can't name one person that doesn't have a strong emotional attachment to money that isn't broke or struggling to pay bills.

KJ: It's your game and your ride. But it's seems to me it would be more prudent to find a game where you have the ability to fight variance that lead to such horrific losses. Hell, it makes me ache. lol I'm glad you were able to handle going down go down without being phased and come out on the other side in the positive. As I said before, it speaks to your uncommon valor. But wouldn't this volatility also suggest to going down again?

Did you learn anything at all about your game or yourself during that $29K week or $8,800 day losses?

He's talking about blackjack teams. I'm talking about video poker teams. As I understand it everyone on a blackjack team is also an investor in the team. Video poker teams traditionally have just had one or two people that were the brains and the bankroll and they payed people to play the game.

There are thousands of slot parlours in Oregon, Illinois, West Virginia, that have just 5 or six machines in them, nothing else. These slot parlours are not in business to lose money. They are open 7 days a week. The machines have a built in casino advantage. You don't need hundreds of machines and table games in your casino to insure the edge manifests itself. It's the same for advantage players. I make a profit damn near everyday of the year.

He's a blackjack player. I know very little about blackjack. I'm a machine pro. Low risk high reward plays are my specialty. From the very beginning I looked for ways to take the downside variance out of it. To do it you have to be able to look for, recognize, and exploit unusually large advantages.

Take a $5 video poker player with a .5% advantage. His expectation on a 2 million dollar wager is a 10K profit. Let's break it down to 800 hands per hour which is a 20K wager per hour. His bankroll is taking huge fluctuations, to the tune of thousands of dollars per hour, to gain the expectation. And it's highly possible he could book a loser through a 2 million dollar wager.

I know how to make 10K on a 70K wager. Thats because I'm working edges about 30 times greater than the $5 video poker player. Such a small wager compared to his means my bankroll don't take the huge fluctuations that his does. I would have to give away to much information to the public to thoroughly explain how its done. But my downside risk is somewhere between slim and none. I bitch and complain when I only make $200 for the day.

There is no doubt that Alan and Rob are the only reasons this site even gets traffic. Other than a great deal of comic relief, this site offers nothing to do with Las Vegas, and Dan knows it. If Alan and Rob didn’t respond in the first two or three pages of this thread, the thread would’ve died at page one.

It’s amazing how these intelligent AP’s who call Alan, Rob, and everyone else who doubts their bullshit stories complete foolish idiots. When I wanted to shut down the forum he begged me to let him have it so his many articles about CET (which are now out of date and without relevance and value) would not be lost. He also told me when he was banning certain people including Rob and Keystone -- but then let them return. He said they would be supervised and restricted in their posting and that turned out to be false. Meanwhile traffic and participation here plummeted, which he denies but I know the truth. Dan has had problems winning at the WSOP and his gambling struggles impacted his heath and he admitted it. With poker in decline he started to post sports picks and while he looked at the site often (I could see when) he did nothing to actually do anything to monitor it, except for token gestures that were quickly ignored.

Ironically his hope for traffic from APs only killed what was once a large and active forum. Dan has failed in this venture. It's over. He could shut it down tomorrow and only eight posters would care.

By the way, the limited views that these pages get come from keyword searches. If these were true participants at least some would join in the discussions or more importantly ask new questions.

Honestly, when has any newcomer outside of a spammer posted a new question here.

Congratulations Dan, your out of date posts are all here and you haven't got a snowball's chance on Las Vegas Boulevard on August 25th of finding a buyer or even getting new people to participate.

Edited to add: I gave this forum to Dan free of charge. As soon as I did was immediately saving $400 a year in hosting fees that I paid Dan to host it on his server. So Dan is losing my $400 a year while he preserves his out of date articles and has a place for his sports picks. I guess it was important for him to have all that.

One of the big problems here is Singer jumps into all educational/informative content threads and trashes them. He has a proven track record of it and it will continue to occur as long as he is allowed to post. Who wants to see their well-intentioned thread get trashed by him? It's the number one obstacle to constructive dialogue on this forum. And the number one reason you don't see new members posting here. They don't want to get trashed by Singer.

Rob is definitely a hoot. Blackhole reminds me of the father on the Raymond show. Sometimes I wonder if Alan isn't intentionally trying to stir up KJ in order to create more posts. KJ was on another site a few years ago. One thing is for sure. When he posts something, several replies follow. Zee was another that seemed to possess this skill. Almost like an artform. The frustrating part was/is, in the end there is never a resolution, only volumes of rhetoric. There was a thread at BJTF the other day that ended with a DON S comment. I thought, o good, maybe a conclusion where Don S wil chew some silly asses and provide answers. HE merely complimented them on their spelling.

Good to know. Humor is essential. But I have no time for bullshit and my patience has run out from over 20k of it at BJFT from two posters. Another site provides conclusions and solutions. But few hardly ever posts. Evidently, manure is key ingredient that keeps a forum growing? It works on my lawn.
