Is this against Nevada gaming regulations which would make it illegal? Does anyone know? I am not aware of that. It would seem to be against commonly accepted casino protocol, but is it against gaming regulations? there are procedures that each casino can set their own policy or protocol. The "wash" for example prior to shuffle when opening a table. I see casinos that do the wash and others that don't.
Another example is the burn card itself. Most places burn 1 card at the start of the new shuffle. I have seen places burn 2 or 3. I have seen a casino that turns over the first card and then burns 6, 7, 9, 10 cards, whatever the value of that turned over card is.
So I am just not sure burning additional cards is "cheating" or against any rules. It certainly would be something that is advantageous for the house if they start burning cards during a player +EV shoe or count. That would basically have the effect of reduced penetration. But I am not sure it is "cheating" or against any rules or regulations. If anyone knows please share.

So happens years ago when my partner was alive, Longhorn used to have a blackjack tournament every Wednesday at noon that was +EV because of the match plays each player received just for entering. I won that tournament a number of times for even more EV.
There are a number of these kinds of things that advantage players in Vegas engaged in. Even low limit stuff added up. Similarly, we used to hit Jerry's nugget every Tuesday where a half hour blackjack play on the CSM earned my partner and I weekly match plays coupons worth just under $50. Small +EV plays weekly add up. This is the advantage player mentality. Something YOU and Singer could never comprehend because both you two are as far away from advantage player as can be.
You may have money to gamble high stakes Mdawg, but that is all it is, ploppy, -EV, degenerate gambling. Nothing more.
And no I didn't play VP at Longhorn. maybe once to see what kind of mailers, but if I recall the mailer was shit and I never played VP there again. Again, AP stuff, at the most basic level that you can't possibly comprehend, because you are just a ploppy type gambler. Higher limit, but just a gambler.
I play nothing but double deck these days and years ago when I played single deck 3:2 still no place I ever played burned more than one card.
