On the other side of these discussions are players that claim all sorts of things that defy that very math. Also included is that short term positive variance can be duplicated over and over. Basically every voodoo gambling concept under the sun vs the mathematics.

Where we primarily play blackjack, Vegas, Griffin is barely anything. After pulling completely out if Vegas after Grosjean forced them into bankruptcy, they eventually returned to the Vegas market, but they are a tiny fraction of what they were. They are RC cola compared to the two bigger colas that dominate. And they are not the primary database if ANY casino. Those that subscribe to griffin, also redundantly subscribe to one or both of the bigger...and more efficient databases. So Griffin is NOT the concern.

The only times I or anyone I know have ever been trespassed with machine play is when waiting on a hand pay, claiming a rebate, or allowing selves to get trapped. I have friends who no matter what reaction they posit or do not posit one day, the next day it's a closed chapter.
Others, the reaction might be muted around the time of whatever happened, and then literally months later I get the "what the FUCK, man!" call objecting to something that must have stewed and simmered over time until it finally boiled over. Usually something that was ostensibly trivial, too!
I don't know T.pined well enough to say definitely into which category he resides, but I do know that in the past when he's gotten suspended after some deliberate or not indiscretion, he's stayed away for very long times. One time he was suspended and then declared that he was done with the forum entirely and resigned. The fact that he was staying away for months only immediately after a suspension and there were no other long periods of absence other than immediately after a suspension does support, whether he wants to admit it or not, that he was stewing in resentment and ran off with his marbles.
Also, the way he kept coming back over and over again to making the same "only losers play Baccarat" posts and getting suspended for up to two months for that insult, doesn't seem indicative of someone who lets things go easily.
I'd say that you're somewhere in between the above two extremes I illustrated. You're not the type to let something to which you object simply go, but then neither do you keep coming back to it in any serious way. (At least not unless you are re-triggered.)
You know even one friend I have who is of the "What the FUCK!" variety after he's boiled over and had his say, then after some more time, he comes around too and doesn't care any longer.
One of the only persons I "know" in any sense, incapable of letting something go, is...UNKewlJ.

BilRyan, released from a 6 month suspension at WoV today. . I used to get along well with Billryan on another blackjack forum years ago. But, of late he doesn't seem to like me much. Welcome to the club. :D But I want to say this to Billryan: Don't give Shackleford, the petty man who thinks he is more important than he is and doesn't seem to know that he only runs a website, not rules the world....don't give him the satisfaction by going back to posting at WoV.
