This is a guy who will fight with hotel staff for an hour over a $5 charge. :D
It's the principle. A guy was overcharged.90 cents for a LYFT ride and he IMMEDIATELY reported the .90 charge to LYFT because he wanted his Driver to get into trouble for stealing.90 from him. He got his FULL LYFT ride refunded and got credited for a free LYFT ride in the future. He was happy.
Posters ragged and dragged him saying something like,"You reported your Driver for .90 overcharge? You seem like an Asshole and a Prick. He responded something like," It's the principle. My LYFT Driver stole .90 from me and shouldn't have done it.
Another Poster said something like,"I'm on the OP's side. His LYFT Driver stole his money, no matter how small the amount is. You don't steal from your Passengers. Are you saying you would be okay if you withdrew $200.90 from your Bank and your Bank teller PURPOSELY only gave you $200 and pocketed the .90? I feel you'd be asking for your .90 yourself. "
Oher Posters responded,"To be fair, the OP is only entitled to .90, he wasn't entitled to his entire LYFT ride refunded and a full LYFT ride credited for the future. LYFT should have refunded him exactly .90 cents The OP seems like an opportunity to me.
The OP thanked the Poster who stood up for him and once again pointed out to the Posters against him that it was the principle, his LYFT Driver stole money from him, so he deserved the FULL compensations that LYFT gave him.
