I'm thinking that there are no gambling experts. And, that it's best to think this way, anyway, because there are very few big-winning players. I don't profess to be anyone particular in the gambling world. In my opinion, it's just easier to work from the loser religious side, eg, in physics, to the better new ideas. The "winning side" is so politically ferocious, cluttered and staked-out. Parrondo studied the negative games, and came up with some more general rules about games, and a few special games in which otherwise negative games combine to positive games. Incidentally, his are proofs from a different direction that general and specific gambling systems don't work. You can't get anything out of rearranging, nesting and making paradoxes of selections and amounts of bets over independent outcomes. Trying to do this is the first sign of a gambling addiction or tendency to addiction. Ideas which I attempt to copy in the "Bet what" series here.
I'm immune to almost all of that, as I'm involved in a game of opinion. If you know more than the bulk of the bell curve in anything, you can win a game of opinion.

That's fine. Feel free to correct members with supporting evidence without insulting them. Insults are completely superfluous to a discussion. A cogent argument about how a member is a hypocrite that points to their conflicting statements/behavior is not an insult.
A trickier one is calling someone "scammer". Just blurting out "You're a scammer!" will be considered an insult, but we won't consider something like "You're a scammer because you are trying to sell a Keno System that does not overcome the house edge since [evidence]..." as an insult because it's a characterization supported by evidence that may protect our members, and the target will have the opportunity to refute the evidence.

Again, it's not about how members "feel". It's about whether the insult was directed at them, directly or indirectly. A thread mocking fat people will be tolerated, but if in that thread, that mocking starts getting directed at an active member, then that's where we will draw the line. If our site becomes flooded with more non-gambling related thread that mock folks than actual gambling-related discussions, then we may create a new non-public sub-forum of the Lounge for such discussions so that they don't clutter the rest of the site. We'll play it by ear based on how the site evolves as we've been doing from the start.

At the end of the day, it's impossible to set a hard and fast rule that covers all insults that would be acted upon, and we may have to course-correct as we move forward and unexpected incidences arise, but since we won't be disciplining users nor deleting posts, we aren't too concerned with having to make those judgement calls.

This was indeed making a difference in terms of keeping those threads clean, so we will be taking swifter and more aggressive action once we enforce this rule. If a member is continuously being disruptive and forcing us to work overtime, then we will hand out sanctions to get them to stop so we can focus on more productive areas of the site.

My driver's license is given to every hotel in which I stay. Players' clubs, such as at the Wynn, pull up screenshots of your driver's license every time you stand at their desk. I don't have an issue with not being anonymous.
I give my license to the police on a much too regular basis.

Only after I caught him not telling the truth, and told him he no longer had my ear did say that. He wanted to make it look as if his threat was the reason I was no longer having any conversations with him(perhaps he just wanted the last word?). The fact is, I cut off my conversations with him and that pissed him off, so he wanted to make it seem as if he shut me up/down.
I don't know who is making fake accounts over there, but I know damn well someone is. I would guess it's some service or bot doing it for them. It's so fucking obvious what accounts are likely fake.
The admin seems very confident his site will get lots of members, views, and posts. I have no doubt they know how to build up nonlegitimate members on their forums and then pawn them off as legit sites. I'm sure they have done this before and that's why they put so much effort into remaining anonymous.
