I am not a fan of Dan's methods or of complete unmoderated forum, with an anything goes policy. I know you like that. It creates drama and you love that. You find it all very entertaining. I am pretty well known throughout the AP/Gambling community. And not just by my handles of KJ or Kewlj. Many, many AP's know my full name, first and last. I am quite sure Axel, mickey and RS probably do and probably two of them know just where I live. Maybe not down to the street and house number, but they could find it if they had a desire to. I have actually transferred the house to my partners name in recent months (for an entirely different reason), so maybe that will help me going forward. :rolleyes:
And while this small site, with limited members (that participate) may have more members that don't know my information, I suspect there are more than just the three AP's I frequently mention that do. I suspect this because there are other members that only occasional chime in that have made references to things that occurred at BJ21 and blackjackinfo. If they were on those sites, the likely know some of my personal information and who I am.
If I wanted to find a gay guy I would scout out the mens designer underwear shops.

Card counters often play act, take on a role, of such and such, especially at higher levels of play. A couple famous examples are MIT members Semyon Dukach, playing the role of a Russian arms dealer and Johnny Chang going as far to dress and act as a woman. Another pretty well known player, played the part of a handicapped person, in a wheel chair (Yikes! Bad Karma). There is a situation that playing the part of a gay guy can be beneficial, if you do it just right.
I know a straight card counter that used to do this regularly. After discussions with him, I tried it a few times early in my career in Atlantic City, and ultimately decided that for me, there were negatives that outweighed the benefits. Mainly it is something that makes you more memorable. I try to get away from anything distinguishing like that. My goal is to be forgotten 2 minutes after I leave the table. But as I said, in a rare circumstances, a very narrow situation, I believe there is a benefit or that the benefit might be greater than the risk, especially short term.
Why is pretending to be handicapped bad karma? If you're skipping lines (which is bullshit to begin with, wait your damn turn), parking in handicapped spots, or getting some other type of special or privileged treatment, sure, that's bad news bears.
