V and me go back over 20 years at the patrick board. We talked mostly about gambling. Then on GG on gambling and stanton and patrick, then on wov on various topicsd, then on GG again when wov axed me. Then on GF and GT and PENALTY BOX, and here. We shared alot of opinions and only on one topic did it get personal regarding my feelings that I would not badmouth another site on another board as long as I had access to that site and I would go face to face. He had other opinions. Other than that there has been no real blow ups. We have had our ups and downs. And alot of civil debate and more agreements than disagreements on alot of topics. I think we have learned stuff from each other. So to compare our civil relationship to one with a criminal is stupid. Now I don't expect anyone to lose sleep over this, but I will say that occasionally I have some actual gambling information or Las Vegas information, and I will keep those to myself. For example, I was made aware a week ago of a surprising offer by one of the locals casinos for three free nights straddling New Year's Eve. The offer was available for about a week, and was a tipoff to how bad visitation has been since the shooting. Well, I made a decision to not share the info with anyone except Dan because you yahoos were on the site.
What I will try to do is backtrack and remove a handful of what I consider my most useful posts over the last year or so. My suggestion is that mickeycrimm try to remove his roadtrip info and KJ backtrack and remove any posts that gave useful tips to any blackjack players. Then LarryS and MrV can fill whatever void with their far-ranging expertise and wisdom.
At some point, if you're going to dominate a gambling and Las Vegas board, it might be helpful to post about gambling and Las Vegas. Just a thought. Good luck, fellas.

I think Mike has forgotten why he started WoV. It was supposed to be a place where players could share and help each other to be better players. That's not what WoV is now. Here's another interesting observation about this doxxing incident, and attacks of me that have been allowed at WoV.
Earlier this week, with a rash of sock puppet activity, Mike Shackleford, announced that anyone identified as a sock puppet would not only be immediately nuked (they likely had already been), but in a change of policy, their posts as the sock puppet would be removed.
So here is "horse" identified as sock puppet of previously banned, Singer, who makes multiple posts attacking and trying to discredit me and guess what?...those posts are allowed to stand, despite Mike's own new policy. You can bet if a sock puppet showed up supporting me, and was identified as a sock puppet, the posts (of support) would be removed. Just an interesting bit of bias.
I can't help but wonder why the helpful and objective MrV didn't point that one out. Also noted is the silence of my so called AP friends on that forum. :rolleyes:

Not a damn thing I like about that thread. :mad: It was started by a member, "sidthesquid", (now banned) who's only purpose at WoV for a solid year was to trash me. In starting this thread sidthesquid intentionally doxxed me. It gave platform to another banned member "Singer" to do this trolling-attack thing, as well as other members like DrawingDead to attempt to discredit me by posting negatively, for which I can not respond.
The one member that posted in support of me, DarkOz, was immediately suspended. And now Mrbobo, weighs in announcing that it isn't that hard to find me, for anyone that wants to.
That thread just highlights the ongoing bias at WoV, against a member of the AP community. I have moved on....I really have. But it certainly appears there is an effort by some to continue to discredit and undermine me. And now it is escalating beyond words, to people doxxing, seeking my name, address, phone number to post online and suggesting that people go find me at the casinos. This is now a threat to my career, my livelihood. I wouldn't have guessed my biggest threat would come from members of the AP community, and an AP-related site, one that I tried to continue positively to for years, rather than the casinos that I play at. :mad:
You made it sound as if the Wizard himself was leaving it up on purpose or does not care enough to do anything about it. I think the new rule was made in part on your behalf. They put that rule into effect after my dismissal but they haven't really followed through on it.
I don't see what the big deal is about WoV and sockpuppets. I just wanted to see how many I could create and if it was that hard to maintain. For me I don't really have them to troll or cause problems. I just have them to post if I want to post over there. A few times I created a couple of puppets and got busted right away. After that I jumped through a few hoops figured better ways to create them and have 17 names that are in "good standing". Now I just create them to see how many I can actually have over there. However, I have become pretty bored with the forum in general. I hardly look for forums but I recently found this one.

Kewlj it's easy to blame Rob. He certainly can't defend himself.
