Come on, Gott. You sunk your claws into Ray over a simple and innocent Thumbs up? I mean SERIOUSLY? :( Thumbs up simply means that Ray was agreeing with the post and enjoyed it. I could see your point if Ray gave the middle finger to it, or a thumbs down , but he innocently have a thumbs up to it.
I was referring to my own "garbage", from which answers might come. And, thanked Ray for the thumbs-up. Yes, definitely four fingers pointing back, then. No?
About you, I still have zero qualms, in the sense of harmless free speech, with whatever you write. Already noted, almost from the outset ... that I don't much read, or consider, let alone react to, whatever you write. The otherwise uselessness of the thumbs- up/down. Ie, science isn't at all a popularity contest. And, the truth doesn't take sides, and, so, to take sides is to lie.
P.S. Hmm, might be a good anagram-with-gematria in that bible quote. More fun for me. Ha. Hey, remove the four i's from the quote, and voila! Pretty spooky how that always seems to work, especially with fewer posts to quote.

Anyway, I remember a time when I (& MrV?) was the only one not to speak out for a ban against you. And, when Ozzy, some time later, wrote that you turned against your one supporter.
Sorry Rob, have to disagree on this one. If Alan is missed it’s because people enjoyed the drama. Which may be the case with all of us, but Alan was the perfect example of a bitter old man. I don’t see that with most of us, we don’t regret how our life turned out, but Alan did. But instead of being a responsible individual and blaming or crediting the person in the mirror for how their life turned out, Alan was angry and bitter and blamed others.
He hated anyone successful in gambling or life and worked hard to discredit them. And why? Because he was a degenerate gambler that refused to accept others found a way to not only make a living from gambling but also even if they didn’t win, they understood math, odds and advantages.
He turned on you eventually when he realized you couldn’t help him with a magic formula. He hated AP’s and made it personal with intentional lies in the case of KJ and the multiple tables.
Even in the worst cases on these forums, how many had family members involved stating their gambling got in the way of paying monies owed to them as employees? I can only think of one over the years other than Alan on WoV.
Nope, I don’t miss Alan and his nonsense. That said, I’m sure no one will miss you, me or most others on here when they are gone. And trust me, the old adage to not speak ill of the dead will be ignored when most of us on here pass.
Can you tell me when I turned against my number one Supporter? I remember Ozzy saying something like, "Tasha turned against her number one Supporter?" But I don't remember who this number one Supporter was. I remember turning against Kewlj but that was because Kewlj turned against me when I was just trying to help him out. He did later apologize for turning against me later on though.
Alan is now forever at a craps table trying time and time again to replicate throwing 18 yo's in a row, "just to show that it can be done."
Memo to Alan: dress lightly, it's HOT down there.
Probably off for the Jewish New Year: Evening of Fri, Sep 15, 2023
Quote:
Rosh HaShanah (Hebrew: רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה, Rōʾš hašŠānā, literally "head of the year") is the Jewish New Year. The biblical name for this holiday is Yom Teruah (יוֹם תְּרוּעָה, Yōm Tərūʿā, lit. "day of shouting/blasting"). It is the first of the Jewish High Holy Days (יָמִים נוֹרָאִים, Yāmīm Nōrāʾīm, "Days of Awe"), as specified by Leviticus 23:23–25, that occur in the late summer/early autumn of the Northern Hemisphere. Rosh Hashanah begins a ten-day period of penitence culminating in Yom Kippur, as well as beginning the cycle of autumnal religious festivals running through Sukkot and ending in Shemini Atzeret.
Rosh Hashanah is a two-day observance and celebration that begins on the first day of Tishrei, which is the seventh month of the ecclesiastical year. In contrast to the ecclesiastical lunar new year on the first day of the first month Nisan, the spring Passover month which marks Israel's exodus from Egypt, Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the civil year, according to the teachings of Judaism, and is the traditional anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman according to the Hebrew Bible, as well as the initiation of humanity's role in God's world.
Rosh Hashanah customs include sounding the shofar (a hollowed-out ram's horn), as prescribed in the Torah, following the prescription of the Hebrew Bible to "raise a noise" on Yom Teruah. Its rabbinical customs include attending synagogue services and reciting special liturgy about teshuva, as well as enjoying festive meals. Eating symbolic foods, such as apples dipped in honey, hoping to evoke a sweet new year, is an ancient tradition recorded in the Talmud.

222 ---------------------------> The most powerful numeral in gematria. Ha.
I know some of you didn't like Alan, and I see that Boz still doesn't. And that's fine. Death doesn't necessarily change people's opinions. If I didn't like someone when they were alive, I don't change my mind about them after they're gone.
But you have to give Alan at least some credit. This forum was started as a way to support his Alan Best Buys infomercial. However, it never caught on for that purpose, but instead became an alternative to WoV for APs and other gamblers. This predated my involvement, so I can't take credit for any of that.
Alan was very lax with his rules and didn't ban people for bashing him. That gave a free speech atmosphere over here, to the point where people felt comfortable being themselves here, and not having to worry about petty bans.
When he finally tired of all the drama here (especially aimed at him for being forum owner), he was willing to hand it off to me, rather than just kill it all. And that's why this place is still here. It could have been gone 7 1/2 years ago, when I got the "shut it down" call from Alan.
As already mentioned, he was a unique person with a unique story, both past and present. He had plenty of faults, but so does everyone here. But there's a reason everyone hung around for so many years. This site is now over 13 years old -- actually predating my PFA site.
Yep, Alan really was a gem for starting this Forum and handing it to you when a lot of people would have shut it down. :)
And, I also sm shocked that some people are bashing a dead man. Even Michael Jackson HATERS when he was still alive dug their claws into People who were STILL bashing Michael after his death. We aren't supposed to speak ill the dead, even if we absolutely did not like them when they were alive. A simple,"No comment," if we didn't like them when they were alive is sufficient.
On Alan Mendelson: Dan Druff is right that Alan was quite the character on these gambling forums. Some appreciated that. Some didn't. I kind of liked Alan and communicated privately with him at times. During Covid, Alan who seemed to know the ins and outs of the really screwed up Nevada system of filing for unemployment during covid, was extremely helpful to me, sharing almost step by step on how to do it and get through to someone and get the proper documentation. Both my brother and I collected unemployment for 10 or 11 weeks while the casinos were closed, which we were untitled to do under the "gig" provision implemented specifically for the covid period. Nevada system was so screwed up and overwhelmed, that I doubt I would have been able to navigate it without Alan's help.
But of course, I had a somewhat adversary relationship with Alan at times as well, beginning with "the tracking two tables fiasco", where he jumped up in the middle of the night to run to a strip casino to take intentionally blurry pictures attempting to discredit me. Later on in the same argument Alan would repeatedly claim that I or anyone who could see the cards at a second table had "X-ray" vision. You don't need X-ray vision to see cards at a table 6 feet away. I found this whole episode to be very dishonest on Alan's part. And admittedly it stuck with me and tainted my opinion of Alan. I still to this day don't know whether he was just being the antagonist that he sometimes was or whether his position was just based on ignorance of the subject matter. Admittedly, I have hung on to that too long. :o
I know I have referenced Alan many times since his passing, usually making fun of his 18 y.o. in a row claim which will forever be his legacy. But Alan is gone and missed by many. there really is no reason to say anything negative at this point, including how his gambling "career" wound down. Lets just remember Alan for the colorful character that he was on these gambling forums.
Quote:
A short example of Hebrew numerology that uses gematria is the word חי (chai, lit. 'alive'), which is composed of two letters that add up to 18. This has made 18 a "lucky number" among the Jewish people. Donations of money in multiples of 18 are very popular.
Quote:
As a result, 18 is a popular number that represents good luck. At weddings, bar mitzvahs, and when making honorary donations, Jews often give gifts of money in multiples of 18, symbolically giving the recipient the gift of “life” or luck.
Quote:
What is the luckiest number in Judaism? 18. Gematria of "chai", the Hebrew word for life. Multiples of this number are considered good luck and are often used in gift giving.
If former Subway spokesman Jared had paid a little more attention to the number 18, which in Hewbrew means life, he wouldn't be doing "life" right now.
The continuing mistake UNKewLyingJ makes is hoping that anything he has to say has any relevance. There’s no point in discussing what anyone thought or didn’t think about his blackjack stories when we now know they were all lies.
I did not dislike Alan; I did however give him a load of shit because he deserved it, e.g. "18 yo's in a row."
Still, he's missed: a unique fellow.
Nobody is going to believe FraudJ is dead when he goes:cool:
It would be beyond funny if AndrewG posts on here soon. :D
[QUOTE=Dan Druff;163088]Your other forum has too many people and they're not the most interesting. Lots of office dudes. I prefer these grizzled older rightwing types. There is a lot of accumulated wisdom by the time we hit 50 although PFA is aging the same I reckon.
Funnily I suspect I have a harder time getting along with true leftists. Telling them that if the Jews in WWII had guns in Germany there is a good chance what happened would not have happened. They counter but tanks! I tell them tanks don't work well in urban environments and it would have basically opened up another front. I mean, this is just me making up an opinion on the spot but they don't like that. lol. That is the basic problem with gun control - all the analysis doesn't really speak to the main reason why we have guns to begin with.
Or after being called a Bernie Bro I coined the term Hillary Hoes. To this day I believe Bernie would have won but they put their desire to have a woman leader above actually winning and look what we got.
Despising cops and looking down on government employees or at least their entitlement. Although I have softened on that but now that is a liberal cause.
Anyway, outside of despising Trump as a man and believing in the science behind climate change I really am not a liberal but I love to argue with those who say otherwise. I'm also not a conservative but as I've stated before my friends who know me best say I'm more conservative than liberal so I dunno.
No one asked but I figured I'd share why I find VCT far superior to PFA.
This place is the equivalent of a dark seedy bar where lots of criminals congregate. I'm not saying this is true but the sort of vibe this place has when looked at from the outside. Kewl of course trying to shine a light on it all.
Here is the problem with the above post by AinQ: VEGAS CASINO TALK. That is the name of this forum. In what universe does that mean talk about politics, race issue, or any of the other crap that is frequently discussed here. If Druff wanted a forum with discussion on politics current events, race relations he should have named it appropriately.
I know dozens of members of other forums, real players ranging from professional AP's to recreational that have found their way here one way or another thinking they were coming to a gambling type forum as the title indicates, who immediately left never to return. These are the people that call this forum the urinal.
I don't give a shit about AinQ's political views, or how he feels about climate change or.covid. I would much rather read about his gambling/poker experiences. I don't care about Mickey's political views. Or MaxPen's political or racist views. I would rather not read all singers hate towards every different group.
Again, if Druff wants a forum, worthy of that name...urinal, with all the shit, he should have chosen a different name. He still can.
Is it not a foolish question to ask what a man is, for, even though his past and future are inescapable, he is free to act as he wishes now?Quote:
"A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer."
How about a carefully controlled psychological shitshow? Ha.
[QUOTE=accountinquestion;163097]Have to agree with you 100% on guns.
The Aghans defeated two nuclear armed superpowers who had tanks / fighter jets, the whole works with not much else than guns.
Not to even mention the Vietnamese, Somalis, Iraqis, & many many others.
MaxPen, you have become blinded by your new found dislike if me.
At several different blackjack forums, whenever VCT is mentioned someone references it as a troll forum and uses the name the urinal.
Maybe try asking someone like JBJB or Midwest player that read those forums instead of just blindly hating on me.
All gambling forums are shit-filled urinals, unless highly moderated, but those are boring as fuck. Be productive if you wish or shit in the urinals, it's up to you.
Can you post in the SB thread how many dogs and points came in this week? Total for both weeks? There were a few that 1/2 point line shopping made a difference.
I hedged a game and got +7/12 early and -6, I pushed one and won the other. I didn't hedge for that reason, it just happened to work out.
If people wanted that sort of thing then they could post elsewhere. It is pretty amazing how you so much want to enforce this "I am a serious gambler and because this forum is named such and such then that is the only thing people should talk about."
Well guess what smarty - people who happened to know anything of interest aren't going to post here. The only stuff people will talk about in relation to LV casinos is how to get tier status.
Even you are very vague. Oh the El Cortez is sweaty for counters! The plaza has a new bar with 9/6 VP! (or whatever) That sorta stuff. It isn't who cares but people can get that stuff in a dozen other places.
This place has toughened you up Kewl and I think that goes a long ways. You should be thankful that this place has helped make you the man you are.
Like a burger-flipper claiming that he flipped so many burgers, last week, but, with so many falling on the floor. Who else could care?
Gamblers, like gays, blacks, put themselves out there as thus targets. Obviously, being gay isn't physiologically normal, to begin. But, I couldn't care less as long as I don't have to listen to them talk about it per se. Just go live your lives, if it's so great.
This is exactly how I feel about the shit YOU post. there are a gazillion political themed forums, and outlets where people can post about politics, climate change and covid, to their hearts content. Why should a forum named Vegas Casino Talk, one of them?
All your political topics, including climate change and covid only serve to divide people. We are in a major period of tribalism right now. We just don't need more division simply because someone has different views that you. And THAT is where we are.
As far as I am concerned the only mention of politics on this forum should be in relation to election wagering, because there are some good opportunities with that.
You have made this claim that I post that stuff in multiple threads all time which is another lie and just demonstrates to me how little the truth matters to you. You have done it more than once then ignored when I point out how flat and totally wrong you are.
I'm not going to explain why I don't post that stuff elsewhere. It is about the audience. The thread is trivial to ignore. Why the fuck do I want to post with people who agree with me? What sort of weakass shit is that? Why? I want to convince people and get them out of their little safe bubble of denial. This shit is real and it is accelerating for multiple reasons.
Lol climate change only serving to divide people. LOL. LOL. What a simple take.
The fact of the matter is not many people on here wish to prove anything about their gambling situation outside of Redietz and you. No one else cares.
If Redietz stops insulting APs as a class of people/poster then he'd probably do ok on here and people would respect what he does and has accomplished. For his sake, I hope he takes this advice to heart. I think he'd be a happier person. He clearly knows a lot about football and for those interested in discussing such things he contributes a lot.
You on the other hand will always be the guy trying force everyone to talk about gambling when there are many forums better suited for that if you want a serious discussion. With you everything is vague bs. You are very similar to Redietz in that you have your specialty is niche. I've never really seen you say anything useful outside of bj counting. No specifics. Whether the 100k jackpot or anything else. Whatever. Even old shit you never go into detail about. Same ol.
gl with the forum posting bud.
Really? I am under fire for NOT proving my claims. I have always taken the position that no one (even Singer or Mdog) need to prove anything. No one is on trial.
You apparently are one of those guys that just likes to argue and fight with people online. I guess you are our "EvenBob" without the goofy roulette claims.
I thought redietz quit permanently because his feelings were hurt by mickey.....
I thought kew would have learned by now that, after being caught lying then lying again as he kept trying to escape the humiliation, he'd been demoted to the minor leagues--of which MrV is the Commissioner.....
Gotjob (or whatever it is): 3rd grade English class takes place on Thursdays at 9am sharp.
Just the fact that he keeps repeating even this lie ad nauseam is proof of mental illness, and compulsive lying.
UNKewLyingJ demands proof, including of MDawg and RobSinger.
Don't talk so much bullshit. I'm not demanding you prove your claims I'm just saying no one is going to believe you about anything going forward on this site. You can't even take a picture of the surfboard in your condo. I get it though. This is your fallback "I don't have to prove anything. I don't ask anyone else to prove anything". Ok but people are just not going to believe a thing you say. Proof might be too strong of a word. People just want a demonstration.
Which is kinda funny because that is exactly what you did with Singer and Mdawg. Oh your bullshit is possible due to "the math" so no one should call you out on it. Anyway, I'm not going to rehash all this shit. You'll forever be KewlJ on here. Now you're sweeping up conversations elsewhere and interjecting by repeating what you read. Awful.
We see KewlJ working on his persona as a gambler. Anyway, goodluck with that.
And get help.
I prefer FraudJ:D
They did every thing different differently at Catholic elementary schools? They told you that nobody cares when a pope dies (no black smoke), and, say, that thus classes rotate periods, as in high school?
Regardless, I'm much more interested in reading (and writing) between the lines, to the point that worrying about typos, or whatever bothers you, is the furthest thing from my mind.

I bet that it came as absolutely no surprise that no one, ever, asked you to write another undeniable video poker "masterpiece". Or, did they? What did your Catholic school teachers think? Did you mail them a copy to hang prominently in the school's trophy case? Ha.
I mentioned having a crush on Russell Brand/Aldous Snow from Get Him To The Greek on Poker Fraud Alert and getting over my crush on Russell/Aldous a long time ago. Todd was like,"If you had a crush on Russell/Aldous, it seems you may not be Asexual and do have crushes on men, just have a low sex drive."
I am Straight, but not really interested in having sex and am still a Virgin at 39. :)
