Shut the fuck up, you CRYBABY, desert nigger, retard, lowlife.

Boz, one illusion that needs to be shattered is that Grump is or was ever any kind of good businessman. If he had simply invested the $500M or so Daddy Fred left for him, spent his life carousing and raping women the way he did anyway, he'd have somewhere in the range of $50B net worth now, instead of struggling to show a few billion in net worth, and having to argue with Forbes for a higher ranking every time it rates billionaires. What business of his has succeeded? As a businessman, Grump is an utter failure.
Over all, the reason to support Grump is in the hopes that he will go along with or initiate conservative policies.
But the sad state of this country is that the Democrats can't find someone who wouldn't landslide beat the pants off someone as flawed as Grump, and the Republicans can't find someone who would defeat Harris resoundingly.
The days of someone like Reagan or JFK that the solid majority of the country could get behind seem to be over.
Trump is NOT a good businessman, which is one of the issues I originally had with him. I now have others.
Back in Philadelphia, I knew someone who ran a very small contractor construction business that worked for Trump (contracted) during the construction of Taj Mahal in AC in the 90's. Trump renegged on paying many contractors what was owed and in the end, according to this gentleman, he received 25% after court battles. he had to take out personal loans, just to pay his people, (so he didn't screw then like Trump did him). It took him a decade for him to recover.
Of course this was told to me in the early 2000's a decade after it occurred, but I have no reason to doubt him, AND it concurs with many similar stories heard and read. Screwing contractors and renegging on business agreements, to show a profit does not make for a "good businessman". It makes for a sleasebag businessman and shyster. (a word from the past :D)
I don't believe I have told this story before but here is my first personal observation with/of Donald Trump:
It was June 2004 or 2005. One of my first years playing Atlantic City. Trump held a birthday party for himself associated with Taj Mahal, in which he had a drawing and would award someone $100 in free play. (he splurged for $100). I wasn't even in the drawing, just a curious on looker.
So Trumps helicopter did several fly by's over the beach/boardwalk just before the event announced times. Always the big entrance for Trump. After landing on the roof at Taj, Trump apeared on the board walk. Microphone in hand he made several flattering comments about himself. Being his birthday, he would say things like "Don't I look Great for 50 something".
So when it came time to announce the winner of this massive prize giveaway, Trump announced a female winner. I didn't even see a drum that he picked it from, but it was somewhat crowed, maybe it was there. the woman's name was somewhat "normal sounding" as opposed to some of the more ethnic names. Trump seemed surprised when it was a larger black woman and tried to keep his distance even though it was set up that she come up and he hand her the winnings.
That little event, through his entrance and behavior left no doubt in my mind how narcistic he was and his reaction to the black woman left little doubt as to his bias towards blacks (later I would learn all minorities).
20 years later, it and he has only gotten worse. The guy is just a douchbag.
It’s the end of the world, MDawg and KJ agree on something.
I was thinking the same things about you and I agreeing on something politically like how the blue wall states would end.
For the record, expanding on my senate thoughts. In 2022, I made 4 wagers on senate races, Pa, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona. All 4 candidates I wagered on were underdogs, or plus money and all 4 won. My projection on Nebraska and Deb Fisher losing would be an even bigger Plus money bet. But none of the books I currently deal with are offering that wager, so I haven't made it. And no I am not interested in betting anyone on the forum.
What "rules" in particular did she violate, Robert?
As far as I can tell a sitting president such as Biden can voluntarily decide not to run again, as he did, which then opens the field.
His decision came fairly late in the process, there was no time to have another primary to determine who should run, so the Dems got together and made the obvious choice...Kamala, the sitting VP.
I get it that you and your fuhrer, Herr Trump, are miffed that the orange oaf now has a formidable opponent as opposed to weak Joe Biden: cry me a river.
Anyone who tries to tell me that elections are safe and secure and that treasonous demorats don't cheat and steal elections is going to get punched in the face, hard, hey hey!!!!
https://youtu.be/ducCwBbcMIg
The piece of shit chink-commie admitted that he voted for the cackling cunt, and his illegal vote will be allowed to stand. Why do you think that traitor demorats are so against strict voter id requirement? And it's surely a coincidence that EVERY single glitch and "isolated incident" favors demorats, right, hey hey!
The demorat party is a criminal organization that needs to be disbanded and out-lawed, hey hey.

Man, these Soxfan posts only further confirm what I already knew. This dude is a far out there crazy person.
Not all republicans are far out there and crazy conspiracy nuts, but it seems most far out there conspiracy nuts are republicans. Why is that?
It seems of the cases I have read, that aren't just honest mistakes. The ones that have been provable and prosecuted, most are republicans. Like several cases in NC in recent years. And several of these cases occurred in republican areas, meaning that it was republicans in office that looked into it and prosecuted.
So you can throw your conspiracy theories out the window goofball. I would suggest you return to the real world, but I think it is too late for that. You are too far out there.
Tell that to the ghosts of FDR and JFK, two of the "best" presidents of Modern Times.
Oh, I "get it" that you don't want a woman, let alone one of mixed race, leading the country; you also hate the progressive agenda.
But "life is change."
Maybe Kamala will win, maybe not, but regardless, the days of men ruling the roost are basically over.
Obama broke the race barrier...gotta think you weren't happy about that one, either.
Dude, if you don't embrace change it will run your raggedy ass over and grind you into the dirt.
Can't wait for the first NFL female kicker; they have lady refs so why not players?
What's good for the NFL is good for America.
As The Sage Of VCT is wont to say: "Wise up."
Honestly one would be better served in life if you were to instantly write off anyone who goes around purposefully misspelling things. demorats? That must be the new one for the season.
These idiots have a new way of spelling Democrats every year. It is like their way of throwing up their hands and saying 'I have shit for brains and can't think for myself on any level!!' hey hey
What the fuck are you on about? This story has been reported on, widely, hey hey!
Chinese national in Michigan casts irretrievable ballot in US election, now faces charges
Although the student's identity was not released by officials, reporting from the Detroit News found that he's 19-year-old man who cast an illegal ballot in Ann Arbor in the battleground state

A Chinese national studying at the University of Michigan is facing serious charges after officials say he voted this past weekend in the battleground state.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit announced the charges against the student on Wednesday. They did not name the student.
Reporting from the Detroit News, part of the USA TODAY Network, identified the student as a 19-year-old from China who is legally in the U.S. but isn't a citizen, and therefore ineligible to cast a ballot,

I personally am not against voter ID. It doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
But here is the thing. Republicans are only for ID laws because they believe (probably correctly) that it will hurt democrats more than republicans.
And we KNOW this because there was a republican lawmaker in PA a couple years back caught on camera saying this. I am not going to look for the video, but it went viral. He was listing things they had done and said "Voter ID laws that will make it harder for democrats to vote....Check".
Sound familiar? ;)
I voted in a presidential election, once, back in 1988, when I was a young lad of 20, and I voted for the demorat, Dukakis. I've never been a fan of the Bush clan and I guess I was motivated to vote for Dukakis, cuz he's a Greek cat, like me. Even if I were motivated to drag my backs-side down to the US consulate in Toronto to vote for Trump, my legal, legitimate vote would be cancel-out by the illegitimate vote, that will be allowed to stand cats by that commie-chink in Michigan. Their are no peaceful, non-violent, electoral means by which to solve America's problems. there is a reason why corrupt, treasonous, demorat filth voted against the SAVE ACT mandating stringent voter id requirement, hey hey!!!!
The MAGA mentality, distilled...what a bunch of BULLSHIT!
A uniform, state-wide Mail In Vote system, properly implemented, would work beautifully to "solve" any voting problems, not that any significant problems exist.
Just more "white noise" from der fuhrer's loyal subjects.
That's harsh.
I think he's just addicted to Trump Kool-Aid: one severe side-effect of this addiction is the diminution/ wasting away of one's frontal lobe and.prefrontal cortex.
So sad...this once vibrant chunk of brain is quickly displaced by hot air and snake oil.
I'm certainly not addicted to any Trump Kool-Aid, and I would vote for Trump. I think the Dems have set some truly remarkable precedents regarding censorship of accurate information based on the premise that they know what's best, and even if they don't, they'll legislate as if they always do. Unprecedented censorship, really, when you get the majority of the population to subscribe to social media and then control it.
The primary example is Covid-19 mRNA reporting. Rachel Maddow got everything wrong over and over as a parrot for the administration. The Hunter laptop and Russian conspiracy stories, buried and misreported, get blown off as not important.
Then you have the absurd fiction that the vice president either (a) did not know the president had obvious mental issues or (B) was not obligated to report such to the American people. LOL. I mean, can anything be more irresponsible, more manipulative than expecting us to swallow A or B? It's a joke.
I have never seen anything like this. Harris went through no voting or vetting process attached to the US population. To install her on the ballot was more authoritarian than any trick by the Trumpster during his four years in office.
And meanwhile, an assassination attempt goes largely unmentioned in the days and weeks leading up to the election. That non-referencing of the assassination attempt is remarkable. That assassination attempt should be an adjective of sorts before every election discussion. But it's ignored, and likewise the effects being shot at have on an individual go undiscussed. Having people next to you killed by bullets intended for you is not something you shake off...ever. To expect Trump to carry on in a more palatable tone, with less acrimony, is asinine. You see any discussions or segments discussing the PTSD of bullets aimed at you killing someone else? You see any of that on CNN or MSNBC? Yet these are key elements of this historical point in time.
Americans are being taken for a ride by a combo of the Democratic leadership and major media.
These are bizarre and frightening times.
Although I still have confidence in a majority of people voting with common sense in mind, it wouldn't surprise me if she gets elected. At least half this country has lost its mind, and that means the norms could go out the window.
It's hard to imagine people actually voting for someone who was 2nd in charge of these past 4 years, with the inflation, the energy/grocery/fuel/homes & rent prices sky-rocketing, the wars that didn't need to be, the deaths caused by illegal imigrants, the higher crime rates, and the complete but purposeful mess at the border. Then Harris lies about Trump having a hand in stopping that phony bill to "close the border" when it actually allowed 5000 illegal crossings a day--and arbitrarily could have remained open for even more illegal crossing daily at Biden's disgression. Obviously, anyone who's truly interested in stopping the nonsense would be against it--as 6 Dems were.
So it'll be interesting to see if we really are a majority moronic or majority sensible country in a few days. And if it turns out you guys are right, then this country will enter its pathetic phase. It'll signal China that they can do whatever they want in the world and to us, Israel will begin to no longer exist, the US will face economic collapse....and we will deserve every single bit of it. I remain curious how she'll take my AR-15's, AK-47, and hi-capacity mags....
Also curious how & why the Dems want or would continue pushing allowing transgender freak men to play in women's sports and change in their locker rooms.
Indeed they are; how else can one explain so many Americans supporting a multiply convicted felon?
A serial bankrupt?
A man whose wife obviously loathes him: cheating dog that he is.
And of course he's a pathological liar who thinks only of himself.
In contrast, Kamala has a life time of public service.
Should be no contest.
Yeah V, she blew an ugly black monkey to get her start on the California ladder; she failed the bar exam; she almost single-handedly destroyed the once beautiful city of SF; she helped make California the joke it is today; she encouraged rioters and looters to "keep it going" during the drug addict criminal George Floyd's protests in Minnesota (and good riddance to that black thug).
Wise up.
This is such typical right wing nut job bullshit. Most democrats are not pushing nor support in any way transgender male born playing in women's sports. That is just crazy talk, just the same as there are some crazy things that far right people like JD Vance say. It doesn't mean most decent republicans agree with it. These views are extreme on both sides. That is what extreme means.
I am a gay guy and the whole transgender thing creeps me out. I don't get it, nor want to get (understand it). And that is the way most people including most democrats feel about it. But not liking, or approving or supporting that doesn't mean it is Ok to beat up, abuse and even kill transgender people.
And while it creeps me out and I just don't get it, this IS America (still) and people are free to live the way they want. If some dude wants to cut off his junk and grow titties, power to him. Live and let live. I just would rather not hear about it.
This is completely false. Older people can have a problem getting an ID. And older Black people even more so. Last Election, 2020, CNN did a story over several weeks, where their reporter followed 5 different older people (80 and 90's) living in rural North Carolina attempting to get an ID so they could vote under new NC Voter ID laws. None of them drove and all were required to travel more than 60 miles to the county seat, where they needed to provide a birth certificate, which only 1 or 2 had. One woman after traveling 60 plus miles was told to contact the hospital she was born in. That hospital closed 50 years prior.
The saddest case was a 90 year old man. A veteran. Served the U.S in the Korean war (I think). He received veterans benefits from the V.A at the time, so they knew who he was, but yet at the airing of that segment, he was still unable to vote because he couldn't get the proper documentation.
All 5 of these older people were black. And that is what the voter ID laws are about. Just as that lawmaker from Pa said out loud and on camera, someone in the republican party.....one of these far right think tank groups, figured out that those who couldn't get the documentation necessary were disproportionately poorer black, meaning likely democrats. That is all these laws are about. Disenfranchising as many on the other side as possible. The freaking lawmaker in Pa said it out loud for God sakes.
How about you just come up with some decent, good ideas that some from the other side might support, rather than spend all this effort trying to stop them from voting. That is a novel idea.
You gotta be kidding me. The last (500-page) published study found that there were 35 million or so excess deaths worldwide during 18 months or so of Covid-ness. The tentative conclusions were that 12 or so million were due to Covid and an additional 14-15 million were due to the Covid-19 shots.
"Multiple convicted felon" doesn't come close, isn't even a drop in Niagara Falls, compared to the criminal negligence and its consequences, trying to whitewash all of this and censoring people.
Frankly, the relatively trivial angle of genetic men playing women's sports has more horrendous effects than one man lying about the value of his townhouses.
Really? 12 or so million deaths?
That would be horrible, were it in fact true.
It isn't.
see: https://www.covidvaccinefacts.org/qu...ted-any-deaths
You MAGA folk yak about censorship and personal freedom all you want but covid was unprecedented and we made it up as we went along.
It was scary times: I recall NYC running out of cold storage for the dead; the hospital near me had to set up a huge tent to process the flood of serious covid patients.
Kew, I'll just make you feel bad once instead of the multiple times I could after that rap you just concocted.
CNN....nice place to visit, but next to NOBODY wants to live there.
If you had anything to do with serving your country instead of sucking off it your entire life, you'd know every veteran is in the database for life. In fact, the same goes for Federal employees--past or presrnt--of any type. ID's are as common as breathing for these people.Claiming a 90 yr. old vet "can't obtain an ID" for this or that reason is not only a lie--it's an impossibility.
Figure the rest out.
Welcome back jdaewoo. This place needs you. it has gone too far up the crazy tree.
Figure THIS out Mr CIA / Jason Bourne. The state ID election laws are passed by each individual state. They require STATE IDs, not federal documentation. Some specifically state they will not accept Federal documentation. That is how crazy it is.
All you vaccinne kookoo birds just can't get over it. This was a weird type of vaccine that they had little experience with. Yes big pharma is a real thing and pushes for profits but honestly I can't really see that to be the main driving point of your voting. Like .. as if Democrats are somehow some cabal. They got some stuff wrong. Other side got some stuff wrong. Some people are very passionate about this stuff but I've never seen anything serious to suggest the vaccines were as bad as you guys would like to think.
Vote in your interest. Trump has lied so many more times this shit isn't even compareable. We live in a post-truth world and you bozos still stuck on this vaccine shit.
I do agree about the Democrats rigging the process to an extent I can not openly align myself with the party even if I feel they have more interests more in mind.
Trump doesn't give a shit about those fools. He's a narcissist. If you haven't figured that out by now then LOL just what in the fuck. Having someone die for him probably strokes his ego a tiny bit. Seriously.
Wise up.
I'm on the fence about voter ID stuff. It seems to me that Republicans have had far more luck gerrymandering so it is hard for me to feel sorry for them on any level. I might be wrong about the gerrymandering though. I have not studied it.
It is a simple fact poor people have problems with addresses and time. It takes resources to go get an ID. That is the truth. Not everyone can easily take the day off and take the bus to go get their ID. It is a sad excuse but it is a perfectly valid and legitimate excuse.
Rob is an idiot as we both know Kewl. You managed to have the vast majority of gamblers believe you for 15+ years. This guy Rob Singer has had nonsense thinking for just as long and has been repeatedly laughed at over it. Just ignore him bro.
I am not going to re-hash the 15 year comment, other than to say there is a reason why the majority of gamblers and more importantly AP's believed me for 15 years. I am not that good of a story teller to have pulled off what you are insinuating.
But what I really want to respond to tonight, on election eve, being a political junkie that I am is you bringing up jerrymandering. Good topic. Both sides do this, every chance they get. it used to be somewhat subtle, but just keeps getting more extreme both ways. The republicans have become pretty good at doing so over the last couple decades. Gerrymandering is made easy by the democrats' propensity to live in urban areas in large numbers. You can take any one of 40-50 large cities in America where the city itself has high democratic population and the surrounding suburbs a higher republican concentration and draw the 7 or 8 districts in a way that is 6-2 democrat or 6-2 republican. Whichever side has the majority the year census comes out is at an advantage to do so. and does.
I find it troubling when you see a state that is generally considered 50/50 or even 45/55, that one side is able to draw the lines so that 75% or more districts tilt one way. That is just wrong on both sides account.
The way to fix this is to take the district drawing out of the hands of politicians. I would do this by having a bi-partitian commission comprised of equal number democrats and republicans draw the districts after each census and have the results be approved by a bi-partitian panel of judges. Once drawn fairly, districts would only need minor adjustments each census if one district grew bigger than others, or a state gained or lost several districts due to population gain/loss. Most districts could remain somewhat stable.
But if you ever actually look at a map of how districts are drawn now, it can look like a bowl of spaghetti, with strands running here and there to include or exclude certain areas. It is ridiculous.
You never really told stories and when you have is when people busted you. Lol of course you're not good at telling stories. When you were all about tactics and math it worked.
It should be done by computer algorithm that is fairly simple and applied to all voting districts. No trying to group people together bullshit.
Still dont!!
What I have done for most of my time on forums is share some of my experiences. And any AP that does this (most don't), will sometimes share something they probably shouldn't. It may be an hour later that they realize, or several days, or even weeks after someone has pressed them for even further details. And when that happens, the only choice is to protect yourself as best you can. Maybe you change something or even flat out lie. Whatever becomes necessary to protect yourself and identity. Anyone that doesn't understand this, just doesn't understand what APing is about.
I have known that most of you guy are fucking with me for a long time. You know what is really up. Most of you are too smart to not know what is real. But it wasn't until mickeycrimm said that exact sentiment sometime in the last 6 months or so, that it hit home.
But anyway, I am really over all that stuff. I choose to ignore this forum now in that regard. I no longer share anything, just like most AP's. The only reason I have chosen to be active today is because I am a political junkie who enjoys discussion politics, even with people who see things differently than me. Once this election is over, I will be back to ignoring most of the stupid chatter on this forum and letting you trolls do your trolling. Except when I have the sudden urge to take Mdawg down a notch. But really, he does that on his own. doesn't need me.
Well AQ & kew have found common ground (aside from neither loner knowing what it's like being with a woman, of course....:) ): they're both libtards who lick each others' ass! Has kew finally found a replacement for old fat boy?
Maybe one can explain the voter ID process to the other. Doubt it though. BROS!
Actually what red said is likely true. In the US alone we saw excess deaths around 700K above the norm since the shots came out through the beginning of 2024. Non-Covid deaths. Similar deaths data has been seen all over the world. Can we say they were absolutely caused by vax? No, but it seems pretty likely to have something to do with it. A bigger issue may be why have you never seen anything about this??
Answer.
And who the hell can function in society without ID?? Maybe it's good these people shouldn't be able to vote.
Show me the best source/study that makes the point.
I've heard so many things. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it was true. There are like 1000l different facets of this area of discussion. I have basically moved on. Yes big pharma is profit driven. No there was not some big cover-up by the press. Yes the issue was incredibly politicized by the right to the extent it makes a fair discussion far more odious then it needs to be. Yes vaccines had negative consequences and at times life altering side-effects. No I am not getting a covid shit so I haven't read anout it much. No ivermectin does next to nothing st best. Yes we may need similar vaccines in the future. Yes I knew youngish people killed and all intubated prior vaccines. Yes science and medicine dont get everything right. Especially in the short term. Yes this has led to even more anti-science type think. I'm frankly absolutely tired of conspiracy theories at this point and so much of this leads to that same direction.
If and when I need another RNA vaccine I may look into it. But surely there is some sort of meta study which has covered all this. I do believe there may be some increase in deaths from side effects but it has to also be weighed against its objective too. I'm totally wanting to read whatever you have just please don't have it be some conspiracy theory pushing website. Please. You have no idea how tired I am of that stuff ATM
Every country in the world requires ID to vote. Don’t believe it? Google it.
Senior voters can’t get ID? Call them and tell them they hit the lottery but have to show ID to collect. You’ll see they won’t have a problem showing ID.
How the fuck do you go 90 years without ID? How do you collect SS without ID? SS is all direct deposit these days. How do you open a bank account without showing ID? Do you think those 90 year olds ain’t collecting SS because….no ID? Get real. When it comes to money everyone in the country will produce ID lickedy split.
Democrat opposition to voter ID is all about illegals voting.
You don't have a car. You don't have the time to take off. You have kids. Don't have a permanent address.
I also question what types of people should be excluded from voting. I did look into this recently. I'm not defending it so much as pointing out there are very valid reasons. I'll get on the bandwagon when people are pushing that along with gerrymandering reform. The no ID abuse can be done by either side. Gerrymandering is systemic issue to the core and can permanently disenfranchise people.
Trump wanting to install RFK jr. as Secretary of Health would be like Hitler appointing Himmler as Secretary of Jewish Relations.
You do realize that:
1) The US is one of two countries that allows pharmaceutical firms to advertise directly on television (I think New Zealand is the other). Who do you think is doing the public a service, the US or the other 190 countries? Anybody in the US who can watch television is bombarded by drug pitches from the age they can look at a screen.
2) More than half the advertising revenue of CNN, Fox, and MSNBC comes from pharmaceutical companies. Do you think that may create a problem?
3) As a follow-up to (2) above, the US has arguably the highest obesity rate in the world outside of the island nations such as American Samoa and Tonga. American skyrocketing obesity rates correlate with the advent of television.
4) The question you have to ask yourself is, given US resources, how and why do we have arguably the worst obesity rates among all non-island populations, and does this constitute a health crisis that requires intervention as extreme as something like the pandemic responses? Or do you think "being obese" is an American birthright?
Easy, brain-dead quips don't do anybody any good. Have you even listened to 30 minutes of Kennedy discussing health care in the last two years? Unless you think being the fattest major country isn't an issue, and unless you think blanket advertising for drugs (and ads that reach all ages) is a good thing, then Kennedy makes as much or more sense than anyone else.
P.S. I have read other summaries that have Mexico edging out the US for obesity rates for some of the last couple of years, and I have seen some Saudi-type countries (Qatar and Kuwait) listed as having comparable obesity. That's why I use the word "arguably."
"RFK Jr. is a conspiracy nut that knows nothing about medicine and has no business making decisions requiring any knowledge of science."
"American's are fat! Do you like fat Americans?"
It's not surprising that you don't think that understanding expected values is an important part of being a profitable sports bettor.
RJK, Jr. is a conspiracy nut and an embarrassment to the Kennedy clan. Not that every Kennedy has been a JFK, but still.
jdaewoo has an obviously limited vocabulary (not much beyond the four letter c**t word), but still, at least he should concede the above.
Gosh, they must have really fancy drug commercials in Quatar and Mexico.
I blame obesity on big tech, not big pharma.
Rather than "go outside and play" which was once the norm for kids, today they "play" with electronic devices / social media.
Their parents also spend too much time on electronic devices / social media.
I've no problem with big pharma advertising on TV, same as I've no problem with politicians flooding the airwaves at election time spewing lies about their opponent: the price of freedom?
RFK jr. has no training in the health field that I'm aware of, he simply drills down on the vaccine issue: like Herr Trump he's the loosest of cannons and unqualified to serve.
That is only part of the problem, MrV.
Sugar and white flour (gluten). These things are literally poison to our bodies. The government KNOWS it, yet went along with changing the food supply to be made up of all this crap because it is cheaper.
This "change" occurred in the 60's and 70's. And it is no coincidence that cancer rates and other diseases all exploded at that same time. Sugar and gluten are the leading cause of inflammation, which really is the root of most medical problems. Inflammation is the body reacting to these poisons being fed into it.
Regardless JFK jr is not the solution to any problem. Doesn't the guy have worms eating his brain or something? :D
By the way this worm in the brain issue that JFK suffered and was treated for, comes from animals, often pigs. When it effects people, it is usually 3rd world countries where the people sleep in close proximity to farm animals. Is this guy (JFK) living in a barn or what?
I remember when I was a kid I did all the pharmaceutical shopping in my family, and I would watch with rapt attention all of the pharmaceutical advertising I could get my eyes on.
I was abusing multiple forms of blood pressure medication and anti-ulceratives before I could even walk.
Well... kind of. What I personally found very early on in the pandemic is I could rarely ever corroborate mainstream headlines. And I'm not talking about a conspiracy site claiming something contradictory. I would just go directly to Covid infections/deaths or hospitalizations data sources. 90% of the time they would cherry pick something out of the data that was technically true, but the data as a whole was saying something entirely different. Eventually it became clear that the media was only reporting exactly what was beneficial to big pharma.
I came across a lot of surprising things while studying all things Covid for a couple years but nothing shocked me more than this. Data from the CDC:
https://nypost.com/2023/07/15/rfk-jr...to-spare-jews/ This link has him talking about how the labs in Ukraine are there to collect Russian DNA to make ethnically targetted bio-weapons which may or may not be what COVID was.
The guy is a total whack job and should be called out for that.
The guy has severe issues.Quote:
Great non sequitur. RFK Jr. has emphasized two separate problems. Drug advertising to all ages on US television. American obesity. If you think those aren't problems, more power to you.
TBH I'm trying to figure out how legitimate this seed-oil thing is. Is it just a thing pushed in these rightwing silos to sell things? I know all my rightwing associates thing this is a big deal .. and you don't hear about it until you start watching right-wing youtube videos with the ads on.
I hear this msm conspiracy stuff but I need proof. This will piss you off but I'm a huge doubter. I believe they do cherrypick but I don't think they do it because of big-pharma.
Back then everyone who believed in vaccines basically wished everyone got one. There are many reasons things are cherry-picked.
There are so many confounding factors in these things.
If the vaccines caused a very large number of excess death I would think it is more traceable. I'm just skeptical of how many deaths the vaccine actually caused. Society changed in many ways during this time and so forth.
There is a lot of disinformation put out on social media by actors outside the US. THey want us to totally not believe in our institutions. Fight back on everything. This works to their advantage as it makes us less functional. Of course being a skeptic is a valuable thing to do as a citizen but one has to also be skeptical of skepticism.
That may be true, but it just shows that even a blind squirrel can find an acorn now and then.
You really are a moron....

So you don't think that any given company is beholden to those that provide them a large share of their funding??
Yeah but these multi-billion dollar corporations want to make sure it is not. You don't think they can do that?? Mass censorship on social media has already been exposed. They also attempted to not disclose the vaccine trials data... well it was going to take 75yrs. Why? The CDC shut down their Covid vaccine adverse event reporting system. Why?
The conspiracy theorists think this all was a master plan executed by technocrat elites for the purpose of population control. That's not me. Simply follow the money and things become very clear.
I don't think msm was making up stuff about the vaccine so that big pharma could make more money - no. I suspect there were other factors in play that had more impact. This form of arguing where you try to make my belief into some broad overarching belief is something I always see when arguing with this stuff.
People say follow the money. They'll say researchers who spent many years of their life studying things through a time-tested meritocracy are chasing money while the guy who has no other outs in life outside of being a social media influencer is NOT impacted by money.
Academia and academic journals are not controlled by big pharma. Anyway bro.. this is so played. I can go find you MANY studies that show you're wrong and can't find any the other way. Why is that? I know I can go on and professional skeptics and or influencers and find something .. but eh why? Those people are more impacted by the need for money than some academic with tenure or whatever. The numbers are out there and published. shrug
Eh... not so much making stuff up as just spinning a cherry picked piece of data to make things look a certain way.
A Covid vaccine safety study?? Would love to see it!
Try to remember that being a professional skeptic meant you did so at the risk of losing your job. However there is a pathologist who owns his own company that had some very interesting opinions on what the vaccines were doing. Maybe I can find that link, it's been so long since I've been into this stuff.
Directly controlled?? Hopefully not, but if you think massive multi-billion dollar corporations don't have some influence, I'd say that's a bit naive.
Probably one of the more egregious use of cherry picking data was when they were pushing really hard to get kids to get the vax. So the headline was something like: Children 12 & under hospitalized with Covid quadruples over the last two weeks.
Then you look at the hospitalization data and found yes it was true. However you also found that all age groups had a massive increase in hospitalizations because a new variant of Covid was breaking out. Including an increase in Covid patients over 60 by 6X, but they left that part out. Stuff like that.
You guys arguing this always mispresent. You did this again. I never said the journals are not influenced at all by pharma but big pharma is not going to have the power to cover up the studies. Nor do they hold that much sway over college/uni employment. If you want to make that argument about msm - sure. I can at least see and understand what you believe.
What you don't seem to realize is how the other side is likely cherry-picking even more so. Maybe not - it is an impossible thing to settle via a forum argument but nonetheless I feel quite confident in believing that. It just all feeds back into this anti-msm rhetoric that is pushed on society by various entities. Fake news, faker news, and the fakest news. MSM at worst is the first category. So much of what I see referenced seemed to be in the latter.
The thought process of social media grifters is something like - "Listen to me! You're smart! We know what the masses don't know! We're smarter than them. We're not sheep! Here ... look at this" .. cherrypicked (possibly made up) nonsense. For some reason they're so often seen as an actual improvement over MSM. I disagree the vast majority of the time.
Biggest conspiracy by the MSM is all the pro-Israeli propaganda and IMO it isn't even close.
I can find numerous studies that don't seem to find much if any increase in mortality based on the vaccine. There just isn't that big of a force to cover-up these things if it were the case. So yes - I can show many studies that show that mortality did not increase. Real legitimate studies by respectable people who aren't social media influencers. That matters a lot to me. Some people love their social media influencers. I do too - for entertainment or to get ideas from. Not to get hard facts from or solid analysis of complicated issues.
To this I can only say huh?? You said they don't control, I said they probably have some influence. Then you say you agree with me. But I'm misrepresenting what now??
You think we got info from social media influencers?? LMAO Oh no, back when we were looking at all this stuff anything like that had been censored off pretty much all SM platforms. I did find non-US mainstream media to be more reliable but of course everything is biased. I definitely looked at stuff that I'm sure you would not bother with, but often come to the conclusion that it was complete nonsense. You just had to read whatever you came across and use your best judgement. What was congruent with the experts in their fields and such. Often you'd come across some interesting info in a story but then the author came to a biased and unwarranted conclusion, but the data presented still had merit. I did my best to fact check stuff whenever possible. I even did my own analysis of the vaccine effectiveness based on UK data when it was first available. I'm friends with a doctor who oversaw Covid patients in a local hospital that I got direct feedback from. I had up to date mortality, hospitalization, infection data available on browser tabs to corroborate stuff. I really found the scope of the deception fascinating. I do still have a few things. Wanna see the trial results that warranted emergency use of the vaccine?
Then later once some of the trials data was released it came out that pretty much most of the people who got side effects were simply removed from the trial and not incorporated into the results. It's honestly pretty hard to believe that this happened but here we are.
Whatever....the vaccine worked, we got through it.
Move on...
My wife and I "trust the science" and take all recommended vaccines, be it for covid, shingles, whatever.
So far, so good.
