Seriously Dawg, what could possible demonstrate more mental illness than this?
This thread should good viewing for Dan Druff. If I am trolled, which I constantly am, I troll back. I fight back some of the lies repeatedly told about me.
BUT I also contribute a lot of useful knowledge about blackjack. Knowledge that can help others players improve their game if there are any here looking to. And Knowledge that in no uncertain terms proves to anyone that isn't just trolling, that I know what the fuck I am talking about and I know this from experience as a professional AP.
But it won't matter. I am the problem according to Druff. Dawg contributing nothing except trolling and attacking is not the problem. Coach belly, who has been labeled a troll by every forum administrator including Druff is not the problem. AccountinQ who at once time was a good and normal poster but now has joined the nothing-but-TROLL brigade talking shit he knows nothing about isn't the problem. I am the problem.
You really should consider making some changed Druff, because this anything goes "free speech" isn't working. It just empowers trolls and haters to make up whatever they want. And I am not saying you should ban anyone. Just put some limits and restrictions so these assholes don't ruin EVERY fucking thread and discussion. You don't allow them to ruin your threads with this kind of shit. Why are the rest of us not entitled to the same?
And while you are at it...bring back Boz. #FreeBoz At least on this site.
Happy Hanukkah Druff and the rest of our Jewish friends.
If a player scoops chips off one table, conceals them, and change tables, initially placing a fraction of those chips on the new table, then the concealed remaining chips are ratholed chips...especially if he ends up wagering them.
It doesn't matter what the circumstances, intentions or incentives are...ratholing is an action (verb) not a noun.
It doesn't matter whether you place the entire $8K on the table at once or in increments, the pit takes note of your table stake.
You're fixated on the $8K figure, even though you wrote earlier that your preferred starting session stake is $12K - $24K, which would require identification should the cash portion exceed $10K, and attract scrutiny if you use concealed chips to increase your bet.
It's not certain that the pit would permit an attempt to conceal chips while playing, as it manipulates chip counts and can complicate cash-outs.
NEVER SAID "prefered starting session stake" of anything.
I said I will not start a session without 15x max bet available. Read that last word again....AVAILABLE!! That doesn't mean I am putting that on the table or declaring anything.
What all you people, you troll people have in common is the dishonest twisting and manipulation of what was said. It really gets tired.
You're not really worth engaging with when I'm not bored. You have lied about sooo much that is blatantly known and beyond obvious. No one takes you seriously no matter how hard you try.
And clearly oh boy do you try.
Everyone can agree you know a lot about blackjack. Are you as big of an expert in blackack as redietz is in college football? I still believe Redietz is considerably more of an expert but again - who knows?
Does this mean either of you make a living at it?
Maybe. Maybe not. I don't care. Being a really successful pro gambler is impressive. Being a subsistence gambler is not so much. Anyway, I'm done with this.
ALthough interesting angle about evaluating counds with computer programs. It'd be interesting to know how that works but shrug. "20 to 30 round delay"? A round being a hand? So is it 20 or 30? Where are these rulings found at? Show us something new and interesting, Kewl.
One of those stealth 100-400 OYO players blending in with all the black chip action they get there.
I am sorry, these latest posts by Account and smurgy aren't even interesting or worthy enough for me to reply.
But you girls do what you need to do.
ALthough interesting angle about evaluating counds with computer programs. It'd be interesting to know how that works but shrug. "20 to 30 round delay"? A round being a hand? So is it 20 or 30? Where are these rulings found at? Show us something new and interesting, Kewl.
A very legitimate question which you can answer if you want people to take you more seriously. Again, what you said makes sense. Like the delay in livestreaming for poker is similar. Casinos being able to shuffle early off the count .. but you could also have dealers do. It'd be hard but doable. They don't have to get hte count that straight.
It is interesting the ruling is based around "rounds"? And not timed? Who would ever count the rounds to know? seems like a weird way to come up with something but it was a "ruling"...
Which I guess came about when some counter made an issue with gaming? So this would be possible in other jurisdictions that this system exists but Kewl is exploiting this ruling in LV and happens to be one of the reasons he stays in LV.
Tell us what you know, Kewl.
AcctinQ, explain to me why you think I should do your homework for you? I know the things I talk about because it is my business to know things like this associated with what I do for a living. If you want to know details, even trying to catch me in something the very least you can do is google Mindplay or mindplay blackjack and read what it says.
But as a courtesy, I will point you to the announcement of the case in the LV Sun.
https://lasvegassun.com/news/2004/oc...unting-system/
Now that was just the start of the case. I am sure you can find something about the resolution of the case. There is or was a pretty detailed write up of it at BJ21 because Al Rogers long-time Vegas Blackjack player that goes by LVBear, ran Wong's BJ21 for him, and Al Rogers became deeply involved in the case. I know a lot about the case, which was really slightly before my time from speaking privately with Al Rogers and others involved.
The case ended in a manor that met no ones satisfaction. I don't believe there was any payday for anyone who filed the case. I don't think there was any major fine to any casinos either as there should have been. (Possibly a slap on the wrist type fine).
All that really happened was Gaming said, you can't use this technology any more without a 20 or 30 round (I forget which) delay, making the technology useless and all casino that were using it stopped and it just faded away.
Acct, just stop! You are being pathetic. You are doing the coach belly shit. Is THAT really who you are?
This has nothing to do with why I am in Las Vegas or stay in Las Vegas. I am not sure how much of this case I even knew before I moved to Las Vegas in late 2009. I probably was aware of it, but playing in Atlantic City it didn't involve me or anything I did.
The reason I am in Las Vegas is because after starting my career in AC and playing AC while living in Philly for 5+ years, I had worn out my welcome in Atlantic City. AC can't bar players like Vegas but there are counter-measures that they can and do deploy, like cutting the deck in half (horrible penetration) and bet restricting which they put on a player that just about makes play not profitable. 2009 was my fifth year in AC and I had increased stakes and by summer of 2009, I was being bet restricted almost every time I sat down.
What that means is you sit down at a $25 table hoping to spread to say $200 or $250 (I think that was my spread at the time). And they pull out a card that says minimum wager $5, maximum wager $50. The law required them to allow a 1-10 spread so they went as small as they could even though it was a $25 minimum table. These special limits only applied to me and whatever other card counters they used this tactic on. You couldn't make any real money at these limits so by fall 2009, I was looking to relocate.
I had a couple options in mind. One was to relocate to Las Vegas. the second was to buy a car and travel a bit, gulf coast, midwest, which at that time was all the rage with games at Indian Casinos that looked great on paper, but in reality weren't (cheating involved). Had I done the travel things, I still would have ended up in Vegas after a period, so I decided just to move to Vegas. The appeal of Las Vegas to a card counter wasn't the best games, but lots of games in close proximity. So I devised a plan of attack for that high volume of games, so as to not make the same mistake as AC and achieve some longevity. Short sessions and move around a lot.
THAT is how I came to be in Vegas. And I stay here for the same reason. It worked better than I even imagined. I know the laws here. I know what I can get away with and how to play to be welcome. As a matter of fact, during my time living and playing Vegas some of my problems occurred while on out of town trips. I am better off just playing where I know the rules (and I am not talking about the rules of the game itself).
I am really thrilled with how my 16 years in Vegas has gone, and I don't think I could have come close to what I have achieved anywhere else. If you want to surf for a living you move to California, or Florida or Australia. If you want to ski for a living, Colorado or Vermont. If you want to count cards for a living you move to Vegas. Just ask ZenKing. :)

This is some fun shit!! And I have only scratched the surface, Dawg. And don't worry, I am cataloging all these quotes so I can easily pull them up in the future. :)
Homework? I have some vague interest in this but not enough to go down a rabbithole on my own. Stupid analogy. You perpetually whine about how there are no people wanting to talk about real things. Do you want to stand on your head or feet? Figure it out bro. Stop being so stupid.
Nothing to do with coach belly. You're just a freak and get treated by so many people in similar fashions because of your nonsense.
The above quotes have come from the first 8 pages of the Mdawg adventure thread. There are 98 more pages to go. And I haven't even gotten to posts by MrV and some others of which there is plenty of material.
Mdawg has done nothing but troll with quotes for years now. Contributes absolutely nothing. Hijacks and ruins every gambling discussion. I don't know why Druff allows it.
I think I just showed I could stoop to that level and take this forum even further into the shithole. But I am not going to do that. I have too much respect for Druff, even though he continues to allow dawg to do so.
Bottom line continues to be that this little bratty bitch Mdawg is a troll. He is a spoiled brat, who grew into a spoiled man who likes to gamble, LOSES, and is comped accordingly. he tried to make a ridiculous story claiming otherwise, but the advantage players and real gamblers on multiple forum all called him out. And then he got nasty and started trolling, like the bratty bitch he still is as an older man. And yes, he is an older man. Look at his hands. They are the hands of a fatter, older man. (as even Singer noted) And those pictures are 6 years old!
RIP to the great "adventure".
Oh shut it dickhead. It is a perfect analogy. You have turned into coach belly! I challenge you to go back and read your own posts from 4-5 years ago. You were a normal, good poster and contributor to this forum. Now you do nothing but troll and challenge me. And I have way more than proven I know what the fuck I am talking about, and it is from experience of being exactly what I claim I am.
Grow up! be a man. Say "I dont like you but I guess you are what you claim". Anything short of that and you are just a peon of a man.
Half Smoke, if you are reading, I came across this post while looking through some old threads. It is kind of funny as my brother and I and my pit boss friend, who also counts cards, had almost this exact discussion thanksgiving night. I would like to hear your thoughts. The question was posed this way.
6 deck game, 75% penetration (4.5 decks). so 2 decks in (4 remaining) the running count is +8, for a true count of +2 or about a half percent advantage after the offset. After another deck is played, now 3 decks played, 3 remaining, the running count remains +8, for a true count of almost +3 or about a 1% advantage. Another deck gets played, now 4 played and 2 remaining. The running count remains at +8, for a TC of +4. Now about a 1.5% advantage. And finally, you get to the shuffle point and the running count remains +8.
So all that time the player thought he was playing at an advantage anywhere from .5% to 1.5%. But was he? The running count never moved. from +8. So those last 2.5 decks were played through at a zero count. and zero count is a house edge of half percent (depending on the game and rules).
So for those 2.5 decks played from the 2 deck mark to the shuffle was the player playing at a .5 disadvantage or a .5-1.5 advantage as the count suggested?
I have given this a lot of thought since that night and I have come up with an answer (probably wrong). I would like to hear what you think before I share it.
Happy Holidays. KJ
Anyone else is free to offer a serious answer as well.
You know a lot about blackjack but your life is a great deal of fantasy. That's also proven. Misterv who is a bit slower seems to think you mostly tell the truth. I believe you mostly lie.
AccountinQ, we are done sir. I should have been done with you a month ago when you challenged me to prove something and I accepted for a wager and then you reneged, whimpering about money. But still I let that go and have treated you respectfully answering all your trolling questions.
I think i have more than proven I know what I am talking about and am what i claim. If you want to instead believe that I spent 20+ years learning all I could about card counting / blackjack advantage play so I could "fool" 10 people on an internet forum, then you go right ahead and believe that. Believe in the easter bunny too while you are at it.
I am just not going to waste anymore time on people like you that are just trolling. You have yourself a good life.
Tbh I'm not even sure OYO has a $500 max table. Whether they do or not I do not think anybody is going in there regularly spreading up to 400 and somehow not getting noticed.
And I believe you're a yeti posting from a cave on Baffin Island, and that garnabby is your brother.
Wait, you want "proof?"
My personal belief is all the proof I require, and just as you've adduced zero proof for your claim so shall I remain mum.
Hey, many otherwise seemingly rational people believe that the 2020 election was stolen so why not posit other equally inane notions which lack any sort of objective proof?
We can rationally discuss events by investigating, discovering, presenting and considering evidence.
There's often enough evidence regarding irregularities in any election to elevate concerns above the level of "inane notions".
The same can't be said about your declared beliefs below...
At the time I started playing it was Hooters. Although I played a bit when it became OYO as well. You are missing a key point about table max. Table Max does NOT mean a player can spread to that max amount. He would last 2 seconds. A flat bettor might be able to flat bet the table max, but anyone varying bets would NEVER be allowed to hit that max bet. A general rule of thumb is maybe you can spread to about half posted the table max amount.
And while I don't remember what table max was at hooters, the max bet I was using was $300 I believe. There were always places in my rotation, El Cortez, East Cannery, just to name a couple that I max betted a little less. Hooters/OYO was one of them.
Now why Hooters? Did you ask yourself that? Did you ever consider location?
Prior to about 5 years ago when I began playing the strip as my primary rotation on busier times, I basically avoided the strip except 1 location. There are a number of reason, but one was it was just too much hassle to find parking and get into a casino for a short session. That "short session" could end up being an hour.
So I always said there was 1 strip property that was always in my regular rotation for blackjack. Maybe once a week, maybe only a couple times a month. That property was MGM. And the reason is because it was so large they had up to 4 different pits. All 4 weren't always open, but 2-3 usually were. That almost made getting into and playing MGM like playing 2 or 3 different casinos. Could hit a session (assuming nothing extraordinary occurred) at least two different pits.
So that is why MGM was in my rotation when other strip properties weren't. so parking? do you know where the MGM garage is located? It is a 15 minute walk to the casino....the back of the casino. THAT is/was NOT the kind of logistics I was after in playing short sessions.
But guess what? Right across the street (tropicana, with a walkway right there), was Hooters who had free parking. We could park at Hooters and I could be inside the side entrance of MGM (the entrance where the "underground' is located). in less than 5 minutes. And there was a blackjack pit right there feet away.
And once we were parking at Hooters, it was a natural for my partner to step inside and play some VP and see if they offered any decent mailers, which it turned out they did. Not fantastic but decent enough. And once that occurred it meant a visit to Hooters/MGM almost every week. And at some point, while waiting for my partner, I sat down and played some blackjack with a slightly reduced spread.
No great mystery Smurger. I thought you were so close to catching me with something though. Keep sleuthing!
And here is another little tidbit for ya. For a while Hooters had one of those older electronic blackjack games, Blackjack Angels or Dealer Angels or something like that, with the video of dealers with big boobs dealing. That game was beatable (countable), because the shuffle point was when they changed dealers. I would usually play that for a few minutes as well until they removed it.
There also was a point that LVH (LV HIlton, now Westgate) was also in both my blackjack rotation and our mailer VP rotation. LVH was located at the opposite end of the monorail. Not EVERY time we played LVH, but occasionally we liked to ride the monorail up to LVH. Tickets were $1 for local residents. Again, not every trip to either location, but occasionally we would have a day that started parking at Hooters, a couple blackjack sessions at MGM, ride the monorail up to LVH, play some BJ while my partner played the VP mailer play, eat lunch at the LVH buffet, which was like $9 for locals (regular price $22 or $24), which we could use points generated by the VP play and then back down to MGM for a blackjack session and across the street to hooters for VP play and/or blackjack.
That would be a full day. 4-5 blackjack sessions, with the two visits to MGM being on different shifts, and a couple casino in the VP mailer play rotation. Not the most efficient day with the monorail, but something a little different that we both enjoyed.
Kewl !
Good answer!
Just to clarify - I figure you've spent 1000s hours playing BJ in and around LV that but outside of that anything said is a complete random shot as to the veracity. Maybe you've even made a living. The problem is you've said so much nonsense where you refer to your experience and all this that it becomes impossible to know where the truth ends. In that situation it is better served for the person to be universally disbelieved.
When I lived in LV and was a subsistence poker player - I played at MGM a lot. I know some players parked over there which made it a lot easier. The poker room was on the south tip where some circular bar is now. You used to even be able to see lions from the poker room.
Infact, that was the first place in life where I shart myself. While walking through the sportsbook - fresh copy of Tipsters and Gipsters at hand. Oh the memories.
Seriously though - there is one lie in the above statements but I"m not telling.
My question would be ... if you're doing these small hit and run sessions why wouldn't you just walk the strip? Start somewhere and go from one to the other? The only slot hustler I know who works the strip did that. Why would you park your car at one casino at a time? Seems like you'd have your chip inventory and a route where you'd just walk from pit A to B to C to next casino, etc. Hit 3-4 casinos or whatever.
You can say this is part of the "gotcha" game but this is exactly the sort of shit you complain about NOT having, Kewl. So spare us. I'm not terribly interested in your answer but heres your chance to have a serious discussion and serious questions that I even expect you to be able to answer.
I know where the poker room is or was. Rather than park at Hooters, wouldn't it have been closer to park at Tropicana casino (now gone for the new baseball stadium), which also at that time had free parking and walk across the walkway into MGM, down the escalator and the poker room would be right there? Doesn't matter.
My first 2 years in Vegas, before I had a car (by choice) and before my partner followed me out to Vegas, I lived in a condominium a block off the strip at Flamingo/Koval. I didn't play the locals circuit yet, not even knowing half the local casinos. I walked the strip daily and sometimes from Mandy Bay to Treasure island. So I have walked the strip plenty of times.
The parking was only one reason I later decided to mostly avoid the strip play.
Yeah, for one I started out playing Hooters, before they were OYO and they most certainly had tables that were $500 max or more because they had $25 minimum. Places that have $25 min table the max is at least $500, usually $1000. And while I don't remember what the max was when it became OYO (I can't recall every max bet amount from a decade ago at every place I played), I was still playing on occasion, so it had to be accommodated my reduced spread. And not just accommodate it, but didn't bump up against it.
Would you like to ask what brand underwear I had on the days we played Hooters/MGM? perhaps you can "get" me with that?
Hooters most certainly did not have a $25 min table in the last 8 years (probably ever but I can't be sure).
They most certainly did. I would not have played a $5 or $10 table full of drunk hooters players. The game would have moved too slowly and the EV would have been way too small. they had a $25 table that was open late afternoons and evenings, where there were usually only a couple players.
And OYO had a $25 table at least for a short time after they took over. I know this because OYO took over late summer 2019. And I was playing heads up with a part-time dealer that also worked at Hard Rock Casino at the time., which would have been fall 2019. This dealer informed me that Hard Rock would be closing for a 3 month period just after the superbowl, while transforming to Virgin Casinos. Information I did not know. (that 3 month period turned into over a year when covid hit and other issues I guess).
But the point is I was playing heads up with this duel property dealer late in the afternoon, and I could not have gotten a heads up game at anything less than $25. $5 and $10 games were packed. $5 games actually paid 6:5 which I would not have touched.
MDawg, it's pretty clear from the kewlJ(s) latest responses to my thread that there is and has been more than one idiot posting as kewlJ.
Interacting with that handle is a complete waste of time.
Todd allowing that handle to flood this forum is a shame. It is clearly multiple people. Now we are probably just months away from AI largely taking over most posting as avatars for the original posters, so I guess in the long run it doesn't really matter. But in the short run, kewlJ is certainly either multiples or someone with severe memory issues.
I'm working on a forum unrelated to gambling that is just full of AI posters. They all have a biography, personality traits of various types, posting styles.
Once I get the software done maybe I can make one just for Kewl to interact with.
Of course in my case the goal is to get real posters in and such but you have to seed the convos and give people a reason to want to sign-up. <shrug>
BTW - I wish you would delete some of your inbox so I can exchange some info with you and Mdawg.
There is no one else posting on my account but me. Looks like another made up lie Red intends to repeat.
there was a brief time my brother had an interest in posting. We asked dan Druff and the admin at GF how to go about making a second account that wouldn't look like a sock puppet with the same IP. Neither admin wanted us to do that. So my brother posted very briefly on my account until he lost interest and it was more so at GF than here.
I am the same guy Dietz. I just don't like people that post bullshit. For a long time you flew under my radar with that shit, claiming to be a professional sports bettor. Probably because I didn't know all that much about sports betting except as a recreational bettor. But then you exposed yourself as a tout, not a sports bettor, and Kim Lee came along and proved it further by identifying that you didn't even have what would have been a good enough win percentage to make any kind of real money.
YOU did that Dietz! I didn't do that to you. And you know what Dietz, this dragging your feet on a podcast where people that know might ask you questions you can't answer has only further proved who you are or more precisely are NOT.
I mean you are welcome to post here. Touts are welcome. Everyone is welcome. I enjoy stories from long time degenerate type gamblers. But you are NOT what you claimed to be all those years, which was the second coming of Billy Walters, who you name dropped frequently.
Just like Mdawgs story would have been interesting if he stuck to the facts, that he is a higher limit player that gambles, loses more than he wins and enjoys the high end comps he receives, your story would have been interesting if you were honest and said you tout people, selling picks, do a lit of sports betting, play some of the contests looking for a score.....whatever it took to get by. But just like Dawg you couldn't do that. You had to try to make it into something else.
Now lets tackle THIS little piece of lunacy. Account, requesting deitz clear out some space so he can join the behind the scenes troll strategizing against me.
I have long known Dawg and account do this behind the scenes because account repeats Dawg lies and talking points. Plus, once account let it slip that they do. Now Account wants to bring deitz into the behind the scenes troll strategizing mix. Bring Singer in too.
Do you realize how fucking crazy it is for you to be strategizing privately about how you can troll and attack someone. Do you really think that is "normal" behavior" or do you think that might be some kind of compulsive obsession with someone. Dawg has a long history of working people behind the scenes trying to get them to say or vote a certain way in a poll. He is a complete nut case. AccountinQ, you have tied yourself to the wrong horse....or Dawg, or Troll. he is making you look as completely insane as he has proven to be.
SmurgerB, I can even tell you exactly where the $25 table was located. When you walked in the front door there was a blackjack table. Going counter clockwise in the pit there were 1 or 2 more tables on the west side which of the pit which would be the side closest to the cage/players card. These $5 & $10 tables were always filled with guys that looked like frat boy removed by 5-10 years. And there was a roulette table and craps table mixed in. But everything open was on that one half of the pit.
The $25 table was on the complete opposite side of the pit. Sort of the southeast corner of the pit and would have been near the Steaks and Shakes. (I am not sure the Steaks and Shakes was there during the Hooters years or during ALL the hooters years). It was the only blackjack table on that side of the pit. And it wasn't open all the time.

"It's so boring", "There's so much heat", "There are better things", etc. etc. The last one is interesting because yes there are better things, but those are usually temporary. Very few AP'able things have lasted the test of time like card counting has and nothing has also brought as much negativity about it whether from casinos or from AP's. That's when you know that type of play has struck a cord with people. Nothing just strikes a cord for no reason. It strikes a cord with so many people because it's a legitimate and a very threatening form of play that although casinos mostly overreact to, they also understand how good it is and how they cant just take it away. Also the 'so much heat' argument that I always hear from people always cracks me up. These guys dont know or didnt know what the fuck they were doing and/or had very little discipline to grind it out, so they end up failing with excuses about how bad it is, how it's not possible to do it long term, or how there's so many better things out there. The actual truth of the matter with counting is that it actually takes discipline, skill, bankroll, as well as critical thinking to know how to get away with it, and most people dont have all of that. A lot of AP activities do not require all of these variables. There's a lot of shit out there that attracts all form of wannabe APs where you can have leaks in your game and still get away with making money or at least some money at it. With counting there's no part of it where you can have any leaks whatsoever without giving away your edge or going bust if you plan on doing it for a living or for any amount of reasonable time. This is why card counting gets such a bad rap. It's because so many people failed at it and use excuses as to why they don't do it anymore or never did it in the first place. In my opinion, if you do it right and have the right approach, which takes a lot of studying and time to understand how to exactly do it right, it's still one of the best form of AP plays out there, plain and simple.
There's a part of me that wants to go back to blackjack as I added something to my game that should keep me well under the radar for an indefinite amount of time while still getting the money with very little added risk, while also keeping n0 relatively the same. I'm currently working on a different angle that seems like it's going to pay off big, so as of now blackjack is in the rear view mirror, but if I ever do go back, I have a decent plan of attack that should work as long as I mentally don't act like an idiot like I did in my first 7 years of doing it. My biggest problem was that I could never get over the paranoia part of casinos cheating me, as irrational as that may sound to people, the variance of the game with the combination of building up a bankroll, while also having expenses, probably just was too much for my brain to endure without venting in a very destructive way. I still wonder about casinos cheating, but looking back, I probably overreacted as my SD's were always within a reasonable level at each property. This does lead me to my next point, which KJ also talked about a bit. The ones who never vent, never show frustration, say all the right things their whole career, and never showed any vulnerable side to them, are almost always, if not always, all fucking frauds. The guys who act like they can do no wrong, have no weaknesses, "Just focus on EV" type of guys, is a massive red flag. Eventually, yes, you want to and should get to the point of just focusing on EV, but if the whole way through, they just talk and act like an 'expert', be very skeptical of those guys, as their whole schtick is to play the part and act like they're an accomplished player to build their reputations, build networks, and get in on the inside. The ones who actually grinded up a bankroll know how brutal it can be and I don't care what AP activity it was to build it. If you never been through the grind, these politically correct can do no wrong types of people can fool you, but the ones that actually went through the grind can sniff that out in a heartbeat. This industry is massively polluted with frauds that talk a big game, but like I stated before, they are bitter and failed APs, so they have to 'sell' something, whether it's selling themselves(not in a prostitute kind of way) but in a reputation type of way, or simply by just selling information in some form or another to make ends meet. Very few people out there can actually say they grinded up a bankroll by themselves and continue to work in a solo capacity. While I don't want to criticize anyone that's ever team played, the ones that usually go that route do it out of desperation and not as a way of scaling. Be very skeptical of people that are constantly doing team plays and have no individual history of playing for any length of time. For the guys who sell information or sell picks, well, those guys are just blatantly frauds.
Zenking, you have become a very good poster. You were always smart and knowledgeable about card counting. But it is now very evident you think fast on your feet and have good common sense and can easily see what drives the trolls and haters on forums.
I am sure you always had all or most of this, but we didn't always see it because you chose only to post immediately after a bad session or experience when you were still emotional about it.
I now really look forward to your posts. This (I will skip the adjective) forum needs more discussion like you now provide.
Have a happy holiday season or what is left of it. Be happy, successful and enjoy life.
KJ
Ps. One thing though is you are really down on players that engaged in team play. I "get" that to some degree. You and I are solo type "lone wolf" players. That is who we are at our core, and what we will always be, even if we get into other areas. BUT you seem to really look down at people that were involved in team play, while I just have the attitude it is not for me, but less looking down on them. (as long as they aren't doing something that ruins something for me).
Card counting is what it is but clearly you can have leaks and still make money. It is not some steely eyed test that separates the perfect men from the imperfect children.it is like all gambling.
You razz those who speak poorly of counting but then do the flipside.
To be clear I think counting is fine. Could be fun. Some people are in the right spot and makeup in life to try it full time professionally but I'd never recommend that. As a weekend warrior AP thing then sure go for it. Move to LV and commence grinding? Uuhhhhh even if you can pull it off - Look at that grind and think long and hard whether it is a good move.
