I don't think it was Singer. Singers last sock puppet attempt was GirlFriday, which Dan Druff exposed almost immediately a number years ago. Druff also exposed when Singer was posting from Pheonix when he claimed to be in Vegas a couple years ago. So whatever Singer does with VPN's doesn't fool Druff like Singer did with the WoV people with Jerry Logan. I guess it is possible that based on Druffs last statement that he just doesn't enforce the rules anymore, Singer figured Druff wouldn't bother again, and he could give it another shot. I just don't think so. Singer is preoccupied with Diaper changes and "crap" like that these days. On the other hand Singer has been logged on every time I have looked today. These people usually like to see their sock puppet work unfold.

Now YOU wouldn't know this Jdog, because you are not an obsessive over KJ freak like several of these guys, but this particular sockpupper tried to incorporate some things I have mentioned in passing into his story, thinking that would give it credibility. Just minor details like where my current BF works. I never said the store he named but I have said one of the big box like retail home improvement places, so he had a 1 in 2 shot. I am not going to say if he guessed correct.

These kind of details are really only something that one person obsesses about. The guy with the photographic memory (claims) that can memorize everything. MrV named that person. And surprisingly he has kept a very low profile today, which isn't like him.

That at my BF pays part of the condo free, is also something I once said. I forget the context. So I though maybe my saying he got that wrong would draw Mdawg out with one of his quotes proving me wrong. He didn't bite. Mdawg is a top troll though, something I give him credit for.

There were several other things he guessed at and got wrong, like the bus, and "our bed". My BF has a car. We sleep in different beds. I like my space. :rolleyes:

The "Guamian" mother also points to Mdawg. No one else ever talked about that made up Pacific Islander shit except him. It just seemed to me that too obviously pointed to him, and he wouldn't do that, which is why I suggested a misdirect by someone else. But on the other hand he may have figured that narrowing his Pacific Islander nonsense to Guam, somehow added credibility. :confused: I don't know. Shouldn't waste my time figuring out these trolls. But this does prove yet again, how completely obsessed at least one of these KJ trolls are. As if that needed further proving. :D

BUT what you freaks have missed is I said very early on that I would never go through with a lawsuit. THAT would have ended my playing career and I wasn't about to do that for the kind of money involved. I can make way more than that in just a few years.

My initial response was to just let the whole thing go, which is why I shared the incident in the first place. To just chalk it up as one of the costs of doing business. The cost of being an AP. BUT if you go back and read the first few pages, there was someone, an AP, I value his opinion. Axelwolf, that specifically said at the very least I should see what kind of settlement I could negotiate. I also heard the exact same thing from a good AP friend not on this forum. Someone that had gone through a case.
And THAT is what we did.

My attorney knew from our very first discussion that we were going after the best settlement we could get. That I was NEVER going to court. He knew, but I wasn't about to say that publicly.

I did a lot of plaintiff's personal injury work "back in the day" and there seemed to be basically two schools of thought: one, like me, tried to negotiate and if that failed then file suit and litigate; the other was to file suit immediately.

Pros and cons to each method; your attorney did nothing wrong in not filing suit prior to trying to settle.

Right, a guy who knows all about the JG lawsuit and who claims to have Bob Nersesian in his phone and who already has an attorney thought it was a good idea to walk away from an illegal backrooming where they *broke his arm*.

This was what made that story the beginning of the end for KJ's forum life.

Plenty of people took for granted that your general story was true at this point, but the idea that you would not even talk to your attorney about it was crazy.

There had literally never been better grounds for an AP lawsuit to my knowledge (because of the broken arm). There was a guy killed in Reno but he was not an AP.

And no it wasn't just Axel saying this or some imaginary AP friend (or some actual AP that still believed you). Everyone was saying this, because it was so obvious.

It was really the broken arm that was the one detail that sank you. The idea of walking away from that (you even claimed an ambulance came for you!) is just nonsense.

Ok fine, a number of people on this forum, suggested I do something. Mickeycrimm and Dan Druff as well. It was agroup effort that convinced me. But Axelwolf and my AP friend were big to me. I value their opinion in this matter.

The ambulance came because as soon as I got out the front door, I called the ambulance. It wasn't because I couldn't have driven myself, I certainly could have. I just though even then before I knew what I might do, that I should have as much documented as I could.

You guys have always blown the fracture in my arm out of proportion. There are arm breaks that the entire bone break, sometimes coming through the skin and/or the arm dangles. Bone has to be reset and sometimes secured with rods or things. That is not what this was. This was a relatively small fracture of a bone in my arm. It just was basically an accident, but an accident of an illegal activity on the casinos part. It is NOT like they took me to the back room and intentionally broke my arm like in the movies. No Hammer. :D

Anyway, I don't want to reshash that part of it. I am allowed, but see no need.

That YOU or others may have handled it differently is irrelevant to me. My top priority has always been longevity as an AP. If I had gone through with a lawsuit, I probably would be done being able to play table games in this town. Doing it my way, I had an ok year last year even taking some time off and am heading towards a great year this year, with the sports betting going well, and blackjack machine play this spring. I am probably going to make that same money in 2.5 years. See the difference?

First, I didn't "already have an attorney". I have an attorney that had done one minor action before for me, that I know and have a very little bit of relationship with. So once I decided, I just dialed him up.

Second, don't tell me, "how I would have handled" anything. Maybe that is how YOU would have handled it. But how you would handle something and how anyone else would handle something isn't necessarily how I would. So just stop with your retartedness.

Here's KJs original post as a refresher:

Up until recently, I had never been back-roomed, that is taken off the casino floor. There was an incident back in 2006 or 2007 before I moved to Las Vegas were I was being led to a backroom and talked my way out of it, simply by mentioning Bob Nersesian's name. That tactic did not work this time around.

This incident occurred several weeks ago at a notoriously sweaty casino "south" (<- ) of the strip. I was forcibly taken to a backroom, roughed up, resulting in a broken arm. Not the hammer induced broken arm stuff from the movies, but just a fracture resulting from being roughed up and thrown into a chair. My requests to contact my attorney were denied. My requests for medical attention were denied, even after I stated that I thought my arm was broken. I was read a trespass statement, told not to return and signed some documentation to that effect and then released, all of which is illegal, starting with the illegal detention itself. The whole incident probably took 15-20 minutes.

During my 14 years living and playing here in Las Vegas, I have probably had 60-70 backoffs, with 90% what we call "polite backoffs". "You are too good, no more blackjack", "your game is too strong", something along those lines. But I honestly thought this kind of shit was over with in Las Vegas, in large part because of the many lawsuits that have held casinos and casino personnel accountable for their illegal actions.

And because I have benefited from all those other players taking such action, I almost feel an obligation to pursue some legal action, not for the money but to do my part in holding casinos and the individual people responsible to hopefully deter this kind of future behavior. BUT doing so, is just going to be far more damaging to my circumstances and goals of longevity than any financial reward I would win, because it would be in the news if I went forward. In the end I have to do what is best for my situation.

I can say this without any issue, Though. The common knowledge thing, here is what that was about. VERY shortly, like days after the incident, I heard from an AP in Cali that I used to network with a lot. He mentioned the incident and asked "was this you"? maybe a week later I hear from another AP friend/acquaintance and he said I heard you got backed roomed at XXXX. So it seemed like the story was making the rounds, at least in the blackjack advantage play circles. I really can't speak to what you or anyone else, heard or didn't hear or what happens at places like discord, that I haven't visited in years and only a few times at that.

I'll tell ya what. The next chapter for me will come in about 8 months. The new Nevada laws signed last fall says a trespass is only good for 2 years. I'll keep ya posted. :cool:

Personally, I don't believe a trespass really has any standing. Or not what casinos think they do. I believe and there was a ruling to this that upon returning they have to 'remind' you that you were trespassed and give you the 'opportunity' to leave.

Of course the problem with that is that the police who are called don't really know what is legal, and then you have to sue and probably go through multiple court levels (appeals) ect. And in the end, they are not going to let you play anyway. :rolleyes: So why bother.

It is one of those things that legal minds can discuss and ponder, but there is no practical advantage.

Garnabby, I believe smurburger is asking my read on it not because I am "irreproachable" (I'm not) but because I am the only forum member who regularly defends KJ and believes a lot of what he posts, esp. about gambling.

Sure, he could be lying, but if so there is no loss to anyone who "believed" him, including myself, as I've "no skin in the game."
