I won't get into possible legal theories here, just suggesting that if you can clearly prove the identity of the doxxer, and if you can show bad intent and consequential damages you might have a hefty payday, especially if the target defendant is wealthy.

I suspect he was doxxed as he claims although I haven't viewed the post(s) on another site that allegedly doxxed him.

Note my suggestion that he consider talking to an attorney began with "IF you can show..."

But yeah, IF he can prove his allegations I suspect he has an actionable claim against the doxxer for damages, something that would survive a motion to dismiss or for summary judgment and should be able to go to the jury, if it ever got that far.

Hopefully he'll have made and kept copies of the doxxing post(s), or have another method of retrieving them.

He'll also need copies of the doxxer's pre-doxxing posts where he indicated his hostility toward KJ (need to show intent to damage).

This form of activity (preparing for and engaging in litigation) would seem to be right up KJ's alley, as there would be drama aplenty and with a bit of luck he'll get a six or seven figure verdict.

But the proof has to be solid and the attorney competent, and then there is the question of cost: will a competent attorney take this on a contingent fee?

How would you like it if somebody deliiberately took steps to fuck you over and make it essentially impossible to continue working a job which, til now, has been profitable?

This would be the acid test for KJ's credibility, I suppose; given the claims he made there should be enough for him to sue and win, but only IF he can prove his claim.

Bob may well have already looked into it; I suspect the cost of litigation will prevent any otherwise actionable claim from moving forward; taking this to trial after all the necessary preliminary work (depositions, discovery) will likely exceed fifty grand, and I suspect that is non-starter for KJ.

Maybe he can convince the lawyer to do it for a percentage; normally one third, but maybe one half?

By report the target defendant has sufficient assets to attract an attorney's interest, and the alleged doxxer may be willing to cough up a lot of money to settle the claim and not have it litigated.

I guess when you're the uncrowned king of the world anything is possible.

The problem is that if it happened as he said, the info in these databases isn’t intended to be available for anyone but the subscribing casino employees. IOW his pit friend would probably have to jeopardize his career for it to be theoretically actionable.

It’s not “for what it’s worth”, Mission has always been there to help others understand certain situations. It’s worth a lot because the guy is one of the good ones on these forums.

From my first encounter with the guy years ago he was friendly to me and never judged me. Even when I was against him on the “situation” with a perceived scammer on WoV years ago. The dude is as honest as they come and as real a person as you will meet on these forums.

I’m sure I’ll get some shit but Mission is another example of me becoming a much better player from meeting the man. He’s certainly not the only one but the money I not only made, but saved by being on these forums made it a winning situation for me.

And while I play with the best of them and contribute more than my share to the garbage on here I’m glad I found these sites.

Those who don’t are missing the opportunities.
