Alan is practicing what is known as revisionist history again. While I wasn't here for many of Alan's shenanigans and only read about them, I was here for this one. Allow me to refresh some people memories.
Rob, as usual was lying about Redietz, who he was and that he solicited members here. Redietz wanted to clear his name, which at the time I thought was a futile effort. None of these people are interested in the truth. So Redietz put this "package" together of some of his history. With no one willing to receieve the package, Alan agreed to and Alan provided Redietz an address to send it to, supposedly his office address. Again, Alan requested this, that he would be the arbitrator.
Redietz sent the package and then what is now known as "The Great Mendelson tap dance" began.
First Alan said he only visited the office once a week so had not seen the information.
A week later Alan revived to he only visited his office every other week.
Another week went by and Alan revised that he only visited his office once a month.
A few weeks later and it was once every other month.
And then once a quarter (every 3 months).
More time passed and this one was my favorite, Alan said he did not even have keys to his own office.
And finally, the office was closed and Alan retired.
I mean THIS is the guy that frequently tells us he is a journalist seeking the truth. You know, interviewed Presidents and queens. :confused:

Alan Mendelson, a very respected journalist, committed to backing Singer, even with the non-corroboration, the isolation, the lack of anyone in the field agreeing with his methods, all big red flags. I sent Alan reality and context -- he could have called any of the people in that package -- and he decided he didn't want to know. Just very strange.
Anyone wanting some up front and personal info on Singer could contact the widow of his former employer. I believe Eileen Di Rocco is still alive. If Alan wanted to find out how and why Gaming Today hired Rob, he could simply email her. And ask her what she thought of Singer. I suspect he'd get a simple "No Comment" and that "No Comment" would tell you all you need to know.
Well Kewlj when my partner told me what had arrived I was in no rush to go there to open it. I wasn't expecting a 5 pound package. It scared us.

All of this Singer junk has been going on so long, I've forgotten the majority of it. I started trying to locate my email to GT and Eileen Di Rocco (I keep just 80K on file for each email address), and I stumbled upon a couple of oldies but beauties.
1) Rob claims he was told by an editor at Gaming Today that they want to him to return to writing his column. The guy he names is David Stratton. When Eileen Di Rocco was contacted (not by me, mind you), she explained that Stratton hadn't worked at GT for three years. LOL.
2) Rob claims he was invited to be moderator of a video poker panel at the annual LV gaming conference. Not only is he not the moderator; it turns out there's no panel listed for the conference. As way of explanation, Rob says it turned into a private party in his hotel room or something to that effect. Evidently I had contacted the conference to pin down the time and location of the panel and there was no such animal. I forgot about that one.
It's just one long series of really dumb claims that never pan out. In fact, they are rarely close to panning out. And, really, Rob's pretty consistent with this nonsense. As are the intrepid journalists who don't bother to make a call and check on it.

Yes, I saw what PositiveVariance discovered (good job), and I have some comments about that, as well as Rob's "Vegas strip" visit.
First off, I doubt Rob was ever in Vegas. As I mentioned before, he was using a VPN service showing a Vegas location, but that's meaningless. Someone on another continent could show up here as being from "Las Vegas" with the same trick. Fortunately I can tell the difference between VPNs and legit local IPs. While Rob might claim he was using a VPN while also in Vegas, that wouldn't make any sense. He was using a service called "IP Vanish" (or one of its subsidiary services), and no local Vegas internet connections would subscribe to such a thing. In fact, I am familiar with the IPs of the Wifi for most Vegas hotels, and Rob's IP was none of those. Instead, it was that VPN service meant to change his apparent location. Nice try, though.
I think PositiveVariance figured out the screen shot pretty well. Indeed, this was run on a Windows computer. The cursor, the blue upper bar, and the minimize "dash" at the top right gave that all away. The "editing" excuse is garbage. If he needed to edit the screen shot in order to get it down to a size this site would accept for posting, then it wouldn't make a sense to take a picture of the edited photo, as that would induce the same problem all over again (it would again be too big!)
As I mentioned before, and has been pointed out by many others, the stack of bills were fake. Rob is being reckless by posting that he has $700k sitting in his home. This is a public forum, and certain unsavory characters read this place. He is putting himself and his family in danger by making such claims, as some might take it seriously and believe that there's $700k in cash to steal from his house. Many people would kill for that type of money. Pretty dumb, Rob. Your wife would be pissed if she knew. For the record, there's zero chance Rob has $700k sitting in his house, so anyone considering going down and committing a crime for it shouldn't bother. You should be thanking people for pointing out this being a lie, Rob.
In summary:
- Rob did not play $25/credit UX
- Rob did not hit a $1.5m jackpot
- Rob did not tip $20k
- Rob did not come to Vegas two weeks ago to meet with Max, Alan, or anyone
- Rob does not have $700k in his safe
- Rob does not even have tens of thousands in his safe -- the cash was fake

This is not WoV. This is a mostly free speech site which I basically allow to run itself. Occasionally I will take action if things start to get out of hand. For example, I don't want to see threats of physical violence, doxxing, or gratuitous racism/homophobia/anti-Semitism here.
At the same time, I'm not a babysitter. Many of the adults fighting on here are older than I am, and I'm not a young man myself. If you lie down in the mud and bash other people, you can't really cry foul because someone called you a bad name. If you can't take the namecalling, perhaps you should re-evaluate your own posting history and ask yourself if you're trying to agitate others.
Finally, I want to address Rob Singer's presence in general. I've made statements about this before, but it apparently needs repeating. Rob is a longtime troll who likes to arrogantly lie, and then insult anyone doubting him. He lives for the reactions he gets. At some point he decided he wanted to put together a very elaborate troll job to get everyone riled up, and it worked. This thread is now 92 pages. He put substantial effort into preparing for this one -- even buying prop money.
Rob is the same Rob who has been here since the beginning. In fact, since I didn't show up here until 2013, he pre-dates my involvement by 3 years. I pretty much inherited Rob Singer when I took over this forum. Could I ban him? Sure. Am I going to? No.
Rob is not a danger to anyone. He doesn't scam, doesn't threaten physical harm to people, and doesn't dox anyone. He's just a liar and a troll. To my knowledge, not a single person has been dumb enough to follow his "systems", and if they were, that's on them. You have to do your own research when people on gambling forums claim to have found a magic bullet winning strategy. Rob has never charged a penny for his "strategies", and never gained financially from his involvement here. Additionally, he is subject to such heavy criticism that one would have to be a moron to believe anything he's claimed, given all of the counter posts and counter evidence.
Rob is and has always been part of the Vegas Casino Talk landscape. However, I have banned him from many threads here when he ruins serious discussions, and will continue to do so as needed.
Regarding Seedvalue:
It's not WizardOfNothing/Jeff. It's a completely separate person who in fact is being honest that he dislikes Jeff.
Seedvalue is a very weird dude. He tweets at me sometimes under various burner accounts. But kewlJ's guess about his identity was incorrect. I don't know if Seedvalue really has the money he claims, but kewlJ is on the wrong track regarding who it is.
I will accept that. I already apologized several pages back saying "if I was wrong", so I will up grade to just "I was wrong". But this BS about him threatening to expose who I am publicly and to casinos has got to stop. That can not be acceptable. As well as this goofy nonsense of a male prostitute seducing older men.
