I think what I suggested people ask you is pretty clear. So my suggestion to those people, if they decide to ask you, is to not let you get away with asking a bunch of non-sequitur stuff that has zero to do with the simple questions asked.

My question is this: is baccarat a game in which you can count cards and if so does card counting help?

AndrewG: Casinos consider BlackJack a game of skill, versus Baccarat they view as a game of chance. Win too much at BlackJack, they will ban you (been there). Win too much at Baccarat (been there) they do nothing.

Mr Mdawg that wasn't my question. Can you count cards in baccarat? Does it make a difference?

In that tournament they dealt from a shoe. It seems to me counting is possible. But does it make a difference?

The game is consered by experts to be uncountable as far as gaining an edge is concerned. The house will even give you pencil and paper to track the cards. Some of the sidebets have been found to be exploitable.
