All forum admins can read your private messages and you will have no way to tell. It simply requires a glance into the database, which isn't hard to do. This is true for all forums on the internet, not just this one, and not just the software we use here.
This is why I encourage people NOT to include any kind of secrets in PMs here, or on any forum.
I will say that I do not read people's PMs. The only exception involves PMs to and from known scammers, or others who have signed up here to commit crimes or harm the system.
So how did I remove the MDawg spam without reading PMs? Simple. He fired them out within a short period of time, so I just deleted all of those messages from the database, without even reading them. If he happened to send other personalized messages during that short span of time, tough luck.

This site is not a honeypot. I took it over when Alan was about to shut it down. Everyone here knows the history of all that.
