I wonder then how they get paid for parking if there is no on site pay spot?
Hopefully not like the surprise I had a few years ago in Boston: drove down in a rental car from New Hampshire into the city; didn't see any toll booths.
A few days later I learned that a bill was mailed to my home out west for the toll.
I learned the tolling is automatic via EZ Pass...they snap a pic of your plate and use that to determine ownership...as we were in a rental car it took a while to get the bill.
We stayed at RW--Monticello, NY this summer and visited RW-NYC just to see it. Oddly, the resort in the Catskills does not have free parking for casino-only visitors while hotel guests get free parking....but at the resort in NYC all the parking is free. Needless to say, Monticello is a FAR nicer destination than Queens.
Most LV Strip properties have got parking all wrong.
Rentals have ez pass inside a box you need to open to allow them to be used. Apparently the box hides the signal so the transponder can/cannot be used depending on your preferences.

So... I got what I asked for, I guess. But I would've gotten the entire thing free had I kept my mouth shut. And I wouldn't have felt guilty because I was paying for 2 rooms for 3 nights in the heart of Paris, so as you can imagine, I was already leaving a lot of money there.

If not that, and if they can't charge you at the parking machine with the arm, then there's no way they can charge you.
These companies are not allowed to access DMV records to identify you through your plate, nor can they charge it directly to your license plate like a toll would.
The basic rule of thumb is that once you pull out of a lot, if they don't already have your payment info on file, they can't charge you.
I only had one grandparent who lived past when I was 9, despite my parents being in their 20s when I was born. She lived until I was 27, so I got to know her well. She had a lot of funny concerns, but two of them proved to be true, especially as the years wore on past her death.
"They'll hit you for a stiff fee on the way out", she'd like to say, when you'd pull into something where the charge to get out isn't clear. That's what reminded me of her with this new Resorts World situation. It can also be applied to a lot of the medical billing we see nowadays.
She also hated to be in the corner in restaurants, and she'd say, "They put you in the corner and forget about you."
From my experience with restaurants, this also tends to be true, except at places with great service. In honor of my grandmother, I don't let them put me (or Baby) in the corner.
