maxpuke can't be vocal because he doesn't know any plays. He's a poser pro stepandfetchit. Dumber than a rock. You don't have to expose plays to present advantage play theory. He can't do it. He's stupid. And he likes his husband's cock up his ass.

Alan, remember what I told you about playing a 98% machine to create freeplay mailers. Then when the freeplay starts rolling in you change tactics and just run off the freeplay.
And for a 2 to 4K upfront loss you got weekly freeplay of 1 to 2K for 6 months. That's anywhere from 24K to 48K.
Would you pay 4K for 48K in freeplay.
For DO's 60K upfront loss, if he knew what he was doing the freeplay had to have run up into the hundreds of thousands.
Do I need proof of his claims? NO!!! I know those kind of plays reap rewards.
It's YOU that demands evidence. For some dummass reason you think people are going to expose themselves just to prove to an ignoramus like that it works.
Nobody gives a fuck what you believe or don't believe. Get that thru your thick skull.
That’s fair play because YOU and your life adventures have given many of us plenty of laughs.
Hell, I even laughed when your son was asking if anyone has observed you gambling in a casino with money he claimed you owed him.
Let’s face it there has been a lot of crazy shit on these forums over the years, but I think you are the only one that had a family member come on and air family issues. And yea, it was funny as hell.
The stuff with you claiming to be someone else, again Gambling Forum Hall of Fame level laughter.
18 Yo’s? Obviously HoF material, maybe GOAT level.
The wedding photo, definitely HoF laughter.
You coming back here to be a human punching bag, the gift that keeps giving and for that I Thank You!
Unfortunately I don’t get out to Red Rock much, but the guys who do and see you at a Craps table always gives them a chuckle.
So you go ahead and have a good laugh. You certainly deserve to get back just a little of what you and your adventures in life have given all of us.
Alan, look in the mirror and say hi to AndrewG for me.
That's great Mickey except I only know of casinos that revise freeplay every two months or every month.
If there was a casino that only adjusted free play once every six months well then congratulations to the players who caught that deal.
Now... Mickey... you've defended Rob to a certain degree with the DUB. In fact you are his biggest supporter with the DUB.
Suppose you tell us if you think the other "claimants" should be scrutinized? So far you only endorsed one play... which isnt about the $25million claim or the 7 X $125 free play with only $25 coin in.
Would you care to address those two claims?
Box I'm no human punching bag this time. I'm punching holes right through your cellophane body armor.
You see... the majority of the world doesnt believe in the supernatural that's being vomited here.
I have no need to share anything in a public space. Whether I am taking advantage of it or not. That by itself makes me a professional. In this business loose lips sink ships.
I take comfort in the fact that I am already playing the future. While you and your like are wrecking the present and living in the past. Maybe one day you will catch up.
But I doubt it. It's a hard knock life for a two bit hustler such as yourself. But hey, you are miles ahead of your past tramp life.
To be fair to Alan,
When AndrewG first showed up to this forum I don’t think that any of us understood that when your attorney’s assistant randomly shows up to an obscure internet forum that you used to heavily participate in, that they will sound exactly like you.
I did some checking and found out that actually it is a little know fact that anytime you have an Attorney their assistant will randomly pop up on obscure internet forums you used to participate in and will indeed sound exactly like you!
And by the way Boz, about a week ago I told everything about my son's problems and how he blamed me and I took the blame as a father would.
But it's all passed for him thanks in part to a huge free SBA Covid loan, a Chapter 7, and a deal with the IRS. He drives two Teslas now, kept his house, has a new business. And I forgave him for blaming his problems on me. That's what fathers do who love their kids.
Nobody believes your crock of shit, Mr. stepandfetchit. I'm miles ahead of your poser pro ass. There's nobody in the machine pro world that has any top secret shit that isn't figured out by others.
You stupid motherfucker. Whatever your crew is doing isn't legal. And that means it's not gambling. You can't beat gambling. But you know how to cheat them out of the money. And you ain't the brains of the operation. You're the stepandfetchit.
Scumbags like you are easy to figure out.
When casinos discover that math doesn’t matter and the long term doesn’t matter they are going to have to change their business model and just close for the day when they up by a certain amount or down by a certain amount.
Alan, I know this was addressed to Mickeycrimm, but could you share your definition of scrutinize?
You have the right to inquire, challenge, ask any questions of any "claimant" you don't find credible or would like more information to make that determination. And at the end of asking and inquiring, if the answers haven't satisfied you, you have the right to say something along the lines of you don't believe him. (be careful of your wording as I used fiction at the other forum and was suspended for it).
What you don't have the right to do is demand proof, as if someone is on trial. No one owes you that.
Yeah but if he goes to the casino, wins a few hundred bucks, and then quits for the day whats wrong with that though?
Alan, the Vegas casinos are not the only casinos in the world. Theres not that many in Vegas compared to the rest of the country. Did you know that just Oklahoma has 148 casinos? And they have the two largest casinos in the world, Winstar and Choctaw Durant.
Some casinos have been known to go up to a year or longer on weekly freeplay from putting in just one session.
I just found the DO claim of $175 a week at a cost of $25. You represented it as $25 coin in. There is a big difference. So you are the stupid one.
It is certainly theoretically possible to get $175 a week in freeplay by running a theoretical loss of $25. I just showed you how a theoretical loss of 4K used to get 48K in freeplay. The 48K freeplay is 12X the 4K. The $175 is just 7X the $25 cost.
Alan, I'm not giving all these answers for your benefit. You're to stupid to comprehend it. It's for the benefit of the readers.
As for the 25 million dollar claim I don't know anything about it. Who made the claim? What area of the country? If it was DO in New York I think it's possible.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. However if he goes to the casino every day, or several times a week, or however often he goes, and employs these stop limits, in each direction, winning and losing, don't tell us that is a winning strategy that overcomes anything. It isn't.
VCT: AP is just placing bets when the odds are in your favor and generally your bankroll will grow over time.
Alan: CARE TODAY ONLY!!!!!!!! LONGTERM NO CARE!!!!!!!! MATH NO CARE!!!!!!! $25 MILLION WIN NO PROOF!!!!!!!! $25 COIN IN FREEPLAY NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!! GO CASINO WiN LEAVE!!!!!!! GO CASINO STAY ONLY ADDICT!!!!!!!!!! YARRRRGLLE YARRRGLLE YARRRGLLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah but he’s stated he only cares about winning today. He doesn’t care if he wins tomorrow or in the long term. He would rather win today & he knows that an AP might lose today after being up earlier in the day.
So given what he wants to achieve personally isn’t the better strategy (not for an AP but just for him) to quit as soon as he is up for the day?
I'm trying to understand if Alan is employing simple and inappropriate straw man arguments here.
Like if someone asks me if DarkOz is doing what he says, I kind of roll my eyes. Or if somebody says their team made $25 million. I say, great, have at it. And then Alan places those things front and center as Exhibits A and B as to why most of the "advantage play" presented here doesn't and can't work. Those examples are at WoV, where a lot of nonsense is tolerated and even celebrated.
Saying advantage play doesn't work because DarkOz and MDawg make shit up is silly. It's like saying because someone else claims to run a four minute mile, you're saying that I can't run a six minute mile.
Almost all of the mickey crimm angles make sense. Most of the stuff presented here makes sense. If you consider sports betting a form of AP, and I suspect it will increasingly be considered as such with legalization and bonuses and comps now attached to it, there's no question games of opinion can be beaten. It's hard and it takes a lot of work and it takes expertise, but it can be done.
Rejection of individual advantage players is one thing. Rejection of advantage play principles is another.
You'll notice that Alan didn't challenge mickey crimm's specifics. Or my specifics (he'd get another package). That's because mickey could take him on tour for a week and debunk anti-advantage play arguments in real time.
I guess I don't get the whole idea of picking easy targets and using those to debunk advantage play in general. That is classic straw man argumentation.
I wanted to point out the rather large mathematical flaw in this article. It's the line in the summary after the first bullet point:
"Beating the house in the long run is impossible, so it is wise to enjoy it in the short run."
Now this line is just flat out incorrect. I understand that the piece is written for civilians and is just making a general point, but it's a bad line because it says there have been no Thorpes or Billy Walters. So it's wrong.
Here is DO's claim...
https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gamb...-mdawg-ii/113/
"I have obtained freeplay on players cards $150 a day seven days a week and it cost me $25 per card total!"
So that's $1050 per week for a $25 loss...not $25 coin-in or a $25 theo loss.
He doesn't say how many cards, and it's unclear what he means by "cost me $25 per card total."
He could mean an average cost of $25 per card for several cards.
Hitting a big jackpot on one card while running the coin-in would lower the average cost per card, and total cost.
Now we've got redietz trying to inch his way into attempting to convince himself....and others....that he's an AP. I suspect the lack of attention he received from sending Alan that silly "PR Pkg." didn't cut it.
And here's a flash on the recent sports betting angle. Last Oct. those of us in Az. we're absolutely inundated with all the online sports books and their sign-on bonuses, match plays and free bets. Some went into the low four figures (and no, I'm not going to underhandedly imply that I'm a high-volume bettor by claiming I could "negotiate" larger-than-advertised bonuses.)
I signed on to every available offer with accounts for myself and my wife, the effort was extraordinarily successful, and as soon as I maxed out the bonus plays I immediately quit and never went back for more bets. I get hammered with emails begging us to make more bets--some even with smaller bonuses attached. But I only went into it for the short-term/very easy money profit. More specifically, I'm what one would call a "sports betting AP" because my long-run is officially over.
It's not that complicated if even I can do it.
I have a friend that holed up in Colorado last football season because of these type of plays available in the sportbooks. I didn't question him on the specifics but he's an experienced sportsbettor that does occasional interviews on VSIN. If someone like him holed up in Colorado above all other locations then it must have been good.
I guess you are not familiar with the journalistic principle of nullification.
If there is a group of people, APs for example that claim to make money by playing when the odds are in their favor, but you hear from some other random person somewhere else on the internet claims that seem unreasonable, You can then tie that random person into the main group to “nullify” any and all claims as nonsense no matter how reasonable or logical they seem to be.
You can also misrepresent other person claims to strengthen your argument IE $25 coin in vs. $25 cost.
Welp, I've learned my lesson.
Not gonna bad mouth Alan or Redietz anymore.
And I'm pretty sure Alan did see 18 yo's in a row.
Just a shame that he never bet on it while it was happening.
Personally, after a few hits I would of been up to table limit on the YO.
No you wouldn't have bet on the yo. It's a lousy crazy crapper bet.
After 5 yos you would have been saying "come on, give us a good number." And after 10 yos you would have been saying "make the point shooter."
Armchair players say they would have parlayed the yo. LOL
There were three of us at that table. No one bet the yo including the shooter.
Crazy crappers see a yo and bet a yo.
Heck. Most players at a craps table just make the pass and bet double odds.
The forum are filled with big talkers who say what they would have done.
When was the last time you played craps for at least 4 hours?
In the course of 4 hours I am pretty sure you'll see some horn number -- it could be 11, 12, 2 or 3 -- thrown three times in a row.
You might see three hardways thrown in a row...
But I doubt you'll ever see a player parlay it. Those things are talked about and make legends. But actually happen?
Yet people talk as if they happen ten times a day.
The big laugh is when casinos offer 10X odds... but the typical player takes 2X odds.
Big talk.
There is no one alive who doesn't care if they win or lose each time they walk into a casino. If they didn't care, they'd just throw away X amount of money and do something else. AP's believe they'll be ahead in the long-term, whatever that's defined as. But that has nothing to do with not caring about what today's results are upon entering or leaving.
The past? Irrelevant. The future? Filled with +EV. The present? Very important, or else no effort would be made.
It's like trying to get Adam Schiff to tell the truth.
Alan, about the "18 yo's in a row" thing...
You are a savvy craps player, and you've hung around craps tables and gambling forums long enough to understand something about probabilities.
Given that, your seemingly blase handling of the event baffles me: you must have known by the fifth yo that something special was happening; by the fifteenth you should have been staring in slack-jawed disbelief: nope.
Once the roll ended you as a reporter would want to tell the world about it...but you didn't do anything to pin down witnesses or notify the LVS.
It is so damned close to being unheard of as to be deemed miraculous, and you treated it like yesterday's Gefilte fish.
So many unanswered questions.
By the fifth roll I thought the string of 11s was over. Who the hell rolls 18 yos in a row?
If you found a guy at a casino that would flip a fair coin with you once a day but only once a day and would pay you $1,000 if you won, but you only had to pay him $20 if you lost and he was willing to do this every day, would you care if you lost on about half the days that you did this?
And as I wrote on WOV back then... I failed to recognize the significance of it. Yes, call me stupid.
As I wrote back then: throwing a yo was a 1/18 occurrence the first time it happened... and the second time it happened... and the third time it happened... and on and on.
You only get the huge numbers when you LOOK BACK. But on the next roll going forward it's still only a 1/18 chance.
Ask me about two weeks ago, when I threw hard 8 three times in a row. Did I bet even $1 on it? No. Why? I dont bet hardways. And no one else at the table did either. But I collected $21 each time on my $18 placed 8.
I didn't want to get into this but I rarely play dice.
I played it a lot more with my pal who was a dice junky and an alcoholic.
So we are playing drunken dice at the Silverton one night and Mr. S puts 35 dollars hopping the hard ten.
I say you're crazy, so he ups the bet to 100 smackers.
I say if you can do that stupid shit so can I.
He cracked the 55 and we both got paid to the boxman's disgust.
That boxman literally was pissed right the fuck off.
So we both left up the hop bet and he Fucking threw it again.
Fun Night.
Many more stories like that but you know... I never played 14 hours of drunken dice nor do I make hop bets.
And if I seen 5 yo's in a row, no way in HE double hockey sticks would I bet the yo because I don't gamble.
I'm an Advantage Player.
Oh and Mr. S has run up his money on dice like no other that I know of.
We're talking 500 to 6 figures on more than one occasion.
And one time with 10k to over 400k.
The only problem with him is he has never been able to hold on to the money for very long.
Eventually he goes bust all the way to zero and he still owes me a Fucking Thousand Dollars!
He also made 11 sets of Aces in about 6 hours on the old 4 Queens Full Pay 10/7 Double Bonus Quarter Progressive.
And that was when the machines spit out quarters and the meter was lightning fast.
I never seen anyone beat that record.
The closest I came was 6 sets or maybe it was 8... honestly can't remember.
My uncle made 4 sets of deuces on deuces in about 45 minutes once... that was nice.
I have a personal record on deuces wild single line.
6 Sets of Deuces and Two Royal Flushes in 8 hours.
I did that twice in my life.
And one of the times was on a 105% plus return game of deuces.
Meters were set incorrectly.
Fun.
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I made two Royal Flushes in the same night on single line VP.
So many that I lost count.
I've never made 3 in one night but I have made 5 Royals in 5 sessions in a row.
We are talking Single Line VP here.
That's happened twice.
Once at the 4 Queens and once at Westgate.
Dollars at the 4 Queens and 5 Dollar games at the Westgate.
I've only made two sequential Royals in my life but one was dealt left to right in spades.
I forget the odds and too tired to look it up but I think the left to right dealt sequential is something like 60 million to 1.
Gosh Monet... one more hard 10 and jdaewoo will call you a pathological liar. LOL
Fine, but when you "looked back" you, a crapster / journalist, must have immediately and clearly realized that what you think you saw was rare and special indeed, yet you did nothing to document or memorialize the event; obviously "looking back" you must have realized "Holy Shit! Did I really just see some numb-nuts roll eighteen elevens in a row? Fuck me, I got to pin this down and tell the world."Quote:

If Don Ward would have just told Ace Rothstein that the probability of the 3 machines hitting in a row was only in the billions LOOKING BACK, maybe Ace wouldn’t have fired him
“Ace Rothstein : Ward, you're pissing me off. Now you're insulting my intelligence; what you think I am, a fuckin' idiot? You know goddamn well that someone had to get into those machines and set those fuckin' reels. The probability of one four-reel machine is a million and a half to one; the probability of three machines in a row; it's in the billions! It cannot happen, would not happen, you fuckin' momo! What's the matter with you? Didn't you see you were being set up on the second win?”
The only issue I have and it really doesn't matter but I find it odd that Caesars Palace never promoted it.
Sort of like the Cal and their Golden Arm Wall.
And Home of the Longest Roll.
This makes me think the fix was in but Alan says nobody was betting the YO so that proves that it was no fix.
Crazy Story that we have to take Alan at his word on and I for one choose to believe him.
You would just think they would of put a plaque on the table or a sign somewhere saying this is where 18 yo's in a row were rolled.
Usually stuff like this gets leaked out to the media, newspapers or gambling papers.
So you would think someone else who was there would of leaked the story.
Like I say... doesn't matter... Great Story that will always be debated.
Same with MDawg... I choose to believe he wins 60+ sessions in a row and crushes all day every day.
True or Not if you believe in it that shit is inspirational.
Same with that punk jbjb... I choose to believe that he and his team crush the Casino for Millions every month.
After playing a small session of BJ, the other day, I'm not sure how ZK and KJ are sane.
If I did what they did, I would be just as crazy as the both of them.
Seriously, that shit is way too slow and personal.
Fucking Dealers slow rolling you and laughing when they crack 21 from starting with 12.
EVIL.
monkey... Monkey... MONKEY!!
Not sure how you can degenerate on a game that James Bond crushes!
And anyone that knows anything about Casino Games and Cheating knows that Bacc is the easiest and best to have a team to wipe it out.
They do it all the time and they still do it today.
Years ago a dealer for Bacc was at the Golden Nugget and the leader of a Pro Team showed him one move to destroy Bacc.
Dude quit his job and was on the team the next day flying around the world making millions of dollars.
True Story.
Granted, you do take a major risk because in some countries, if they catch you, they don't just jail you... they chop your arms or hands off.
You want to beat Big Bacc?
This is how it is done.
Even Phil understood after watching this movie...
six nine jack deuce three
yeah straight... 23456.
"Well, we're going to be very rich and live happily ever after."
Is living in sin actually a crime?
- It's frowned upon.
Oh yeah, by who?
- In this case, by me.

I was at Caesars the night a player had a million dollar craps roll. Unfortunately I was at the wrong table. But I did report it on TV. When I asked a top exec at Caesars why they didnt promote it, the exec said to me "because these things happen all the time." I wrote about this several times before.
I've also reported that the Atlantic City record dice throw was also beaten at Caesars, but Caesars didnt report or promote.
A software engineer at a $10 table on a afternoon with only one other player held the dice longer than the 4 hours 18 minutes at the Borgata. The pit boss told me the two guys rarely pressed.
The 18 yos got zero attention outside our table.
Makes Sense.
Now I look like the idiot.
Just another day in Pair-A-Dice.
This Guy beat Caesars one night, at dice and floated a hundo down the drain outside...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqeamrxCi4c&t=5659s
If anybody believes that a jealous twit like jbjb ibya who posts as an illiterate, is in any way shape or form a performing AP, then it's millions of times more likely that Alan witnessed the 18 yo's just as he's said he did.
Monet... honestly... outside of 30 guys on two casino forums who cares about 18 yos in a row? LOL
Even though I played craps and I was the business and consumer reporter at the CBS owned and operated TV station in LA, and I was the morning business reporter for Bloomberg on KFWB radio in LA, and I did guest shots on CNBC and CNN... I just thought... oh, missed that....
LOL
Sometimes the math geeks get carried away with what's important in the real world.
And I never met a babe who liked gamblers.
I have always stayed out of this 18 yo conflict, but here's one a little more believable but still way out there. There was a little guy I used to see every day at craps. I observed that he always seemed to roll a lot of 4's. So I started looking for him and one day when he got the dice I bought the 4 for $500. He rolled 4 9 out of the 14 throws during that roll. I made a decent lick.
The next 2 times he rolled I bought the 4 for 1,000 and he immediately 7ed out. But 9 of 14 on a 4 to me was way out there. Nowhere near 18 yos though.
over and over you keep mentioning your accomplishments as a newscaster
it gets real tiring
I was going to let you slide on it, you're not young_______ I don't like getting in the face of an older person
but now it's gotten to be too, too much
I put your name into google and YouTube to find info about you interviewing Presidents and I came up empty - I put exactly this into Google - Alan Mendelson and President - got nothing
then I put your name together with Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, George Bush and Bill Clinton and came up empty
if you provide documentation, not just your saying so, of your interviewing Presidents I will be happy to apologize
.
Only retarded ones.
But seriously, perhaps some extremely rare situations where that could happen... like if someone was always chasing situations where the bulk of the payback was all tied up in super rare events such as... dealt sequential royals, slot progressives, megabucks, sports long shots, Lotteries, razor-thin edges on something like UX VP. The opposite can hold true if someone gets lucky and hits those types of things.
FYI, we have to define the long run, because if we are talking about a true long run, your statement is absolutely incorrect.
There's little to no chance of this happening on games like baccarat. Yeah, I'm sure someone could show a computer simulation where someone runs well on all their bigger bets and keeps ahead of the game for a very long time.
When I moved to Vegas four years ago I didnt know where I wanted to live. So I rented.
A year ago I moved and rented an apartment near Janet so I could take care of her.
For the past year I've been staying in hotels in Salt Lake City and keeping my apartment in LV so that I can help Janet here with her leukemia treatments.
Sometimes Maxpen you cross the line of decency.
Edited to add: let Dan tell you where this post is coming from. He can track it.
What does any of this matter?
Alan or anyone else claims they saw 18 y.o.'s in a row or any other highly unusual, highly unlikely gambling result. Whether they did or didn't how does it change my life? or any one else's? The only thing that makes this fun is that if such an event occurred, there surely would have been some reference to it. And there is not. But again, what does any of it matter?
Now on to Alan's latest claim of interviewing presidents, and kings and queens. Again, what does it matter? Who is Alan trying to impress and why? This is a gambling forum. Who cares about whether Alan interviewed presidents, kings and queens in his role as a reporter. Does that make any thing else he says more credible? Are we now to believe the 18 y.o. in a row because Alan may or may not have interviewed a President?
What if Pete Rose was a member of this forum? And he claims to have won playing the number 14 (his baseball number) for 14 consecutive spins at roulette? I doubt any one would believe that claim, but would the fact that Mr. Rose was baseball's all time hit leader, make him more credible? I think not.
So who cares? I doesn't change anything in my life. BTW, it didn't happen.
Yeah, I have to agree with Alan. LOL. Is this how people decide what's real? They type a couple words into google and believe that's "research?" What the flying fuck? Are the younger generations really this narcissistic, lazy, and stupid?
You can tell none of the youngsters knows what journalism's about or how to do basic research. I pity the youngsters in academia. They must think that no studies were done before 1995 or something like that.
It's so naive, it's unbelievable. There's this narcissism to it. If typing a couple words yields no results, the "researcher" thinks he's done due diligence. The theory is that everybody wants to be on YouTube, so if googling yields nothing, it must not exist.
The accompanying consequence is that, since everyone can google, everyone's an expert. On everything. LOL. The person doing the googling is not the center of the universe. Google is not God.
And Alan did the interviews. So the fact that he did the interviews completely debunks this particular way of evaluating what's real.
There's also this lazy component to it. When someone says, "I googled it and found nothing," do they really mean they googled and read 500 pages of results and found nothing, or do they mean they googled two or three pages and found nothing?
This way of evaluating the world is just so lazy and childish. Hint: if you want to know something about somebody, google, then make some phone calls. Take notes. Do follow-ups. Send emails. Cross-reference different experts or witnesses. There's some brilliant out-of-the-box ideas, eh?
Drawing the conclusion that Alan Mendelson didn't do the interviews he said he did because you google it and see nothing IS BEING DUMB AS A ROCK. You can call what I'm espousing here journalism, or research, or a way to evaluate the world. I don't care what you call it. If that's how you determine the truth of what someone says, you're lazy and dumb as a rock.
Just to remind those of you unable to read or comprehend... I mentioned some of my life experiences to point out that seeing 18 yos in a row is insignificant in my life.
If any of you had a life it would be insignificant to you too.
But this forum is your life.
Carry on. I don't want to interfere with your lives.
Right now I'm sitting in Janet's hospital room. She's sleeping. On morphine.
How I wish we weren't here. I'd rather be losing thousands at a craps table. And that's the truth.
In fact I'd give up everything not for her to be on morphine and sitting here.
Enjoy your lives.
I keep overestimating posters' intelligence. I keep overestimating the degree to which posters want to get things right as opposed to spouting whatever they feel like saying.
It blows my mind that someone says "I googled and found nothing," which is asinine in itself to write that, which I will get to in a minute. But to assume you have somehow cornered the market on reality by typing a couple of words speaks to a laziness of thought I just cannot comprehend. It's like dealing with children. I want to know this now and I need to square away what I think or feel about this in two minutes or less. The sheer laziness is incomprehensible to me.
And that line about "I googled this and..." is a throwaway line. It says nothing. If you're going to report about what you googled, at least be decent enough to say "I googled and searched x number of pages with y listings on each page." Nothing you do via google is some kind of exhaustive search unless you use multiple combinations of words and literally search each combination to the end of the listings, which nobody ever does or can do. So instead of saying I googled this and found nothing," the person reporting should explain how many listings he read. Was it 10 or 20 or 500? Did he spend ten minutes or an hour or a day doing the research?
It's disingenuous to say, "I googled something and found nothing" without stating how much you actually read. If people were to report how much they actually read every time they write, "I googled...." it would put an entirely different spin on their credibility or lack thereof.
To take a line from blackjack counters, "Every use of google is a partial use of google."
Only those with an actual real life could understand what you meant Alan. The rest haven't been to, haven't seen, and haven't experienced much more than comped buffets, a colorful collection of slot club cards, or gridlocked LV street traffic. And that's exactly why 18 yo's--an extremely unlikely event included within a life-lived collection of other similarly very unlikely events--is constantly mocked here. And this....from a group who worships at the altar of mathematical possibilities.
Let the entertainment keep coming. It'll help keep your mind busy as you navigate another nearly impossible event: watching the suffering of a person very special to you.
Some notes about Salt Lake City. As opposed to Vegas and LA there are very few homeless visible here. Make no mistake there are homeless people. But you see very few tents in parking lots and on sidewalks.
I did see one group of four tents in a commercial area near a Sam's Town and other big box stores. But when I passed by I saw two official looking types with badges and clipboards talking to the men there. It appeared to be social workers.
But I have to add this is a boring city. Everything seems to close at 7pm.
No gambling here. But I'm sure you knew that. But there are billboards for Nevada casinos, and we found that unusual for an area that is so opposed to gambling.
I have just over 7000 posts on this forum in 6 years. I look at that number and it seems high and am a little embarrassed at first. Divide it out and it comes to between 3 and 4 posts a day. That doesn't seem outrageous. I have always wanted to share some of my experiences and journey. Starting to want to do so less these days.
But I just find it extremely "rich" that this forums leading poster with over 18,000 posts is lecturing us all on having no life and posting too much. And big surprise the furum's second leading poster closing in on 10,000 posts, Rob Singer is backing him up. :D Classic definition of hypocrites.

Shocking that Caesars did not report this to the media, given all the positive attention Demauro's roll got Borgata (and for the game of craps in general).
While not as unlikely as 18 yo's in a row, beating Demauro's Borgata record ain't chopped liver.
Oh, for those who understand math: the odds of someone throwing 154 times before rolling a seven is reported as being 1.56 trillion to one; the Wiz calculates the odds of rolling 18 yo's in a row at being much, much higher...so high as to dwell in the Land That Math Forgot.
Look, we can say pretty much whatever we want on these forums; some of us prefer truth, some just like to cause consternation and hoopla; up to the viewer to pick up and examine each road apple, I mean each pearl of wisdom posted here and then decide for himself.
Going down memory lane ain't so bad provided the road leads somewhere worth getting to.
