It’s how someone like him thinks and it certainly doesn’t bother me as per my signature. I feel good I let a couple casinos I own stock in know they MAY have hosts and possibly pit bosses over comping a player who claims to be taking them for what is now over a million in winnings. And not in a single session as a whale, which certainly happens, but with claims of 48 out of 50 winning sessions and other voodoo. All the while claiming to being comped at high levels and being told they see “He never loses”.

One has to be concerned there is collusion going on that should be a concern to every shareholder as this individual has the ability to put the casino out of business with his skills and methods. At this point he was being generous to the casinos by not taking them for millions a day with his skills as he claims. Not sure why any public corporation wouldn’t be concerned that someone has the ability to destroy their quarter or fiscal year at will.

Obviously this can only happen if the person isn’t lying about their abilities they claim. But that wasn’t for me to decide, my concern is my investments. When someone with a large bankroll claims they can “read the flow of the cards”, I’m concerned. When someone claims the public corporations are allowing them to spread $50-$5000 a hand on a DD BJ table, I’m concerned.

You and everyone that ever played a hand of BJ knows these spreads don’t happen unless something isn’t right. Is a Pit Boss or other member of management involved? Far fetched but the only way it happens.

Someone like Monet doesn’t understand that. Instead he talks about codes while also saying how much of a untrustworthy individual he is. While believing everyone is like him. I guess that allows him to feel better about himself.

In any case, I’ll be fine and it’s fun laughing at him.

I do see some of this. In the past couple days he said that he had won some plays that he hadn't posted. And sometimes he posts 5 or 6 teams that he "likes" but doesn't tell you how he is playing them. Then the next day he can claim a winning parlay with 4 of them that won. These are common internet tricks.

BUT, he has also posted enough picks and usually how he is playing them in the past 6 months, that I was intrigued enough and still am to follow some of his picks. I even opened an online account just to do so, in case he posts a pick at the last minute. I have done pretty well following some of his picks. I usually don't bet the way he does, like if he has 4 games he likes I will bet all individually rather than a parley. Plenty of times he has hit 3 out of 4 or 2 out of 3, for a profit for me, when he has lost his parlay. But when he hits a parlay, it is much more than I win individually.

All I know is he has done pretty well with his hockey picks over the last 6 months and I have done pretty well tagging along off those picks. I previously said "I suspect he is playing with an advantage". I'll retract that because I just don't know. It seems like he knows the math on everything he does and is looking for an advantage, despite his "I am just a gambler claim". So I don't know. All I can really attest to is he has done pretty good with the hockey picks he has publicly posted and I have made a little money tagging along.

Boz, you say "far fetched but it is the only way it happens". It isn't happening! I don't know how I can be any clearer. I don't know much, but I know about blackjack in this town and how it works at all levels of play. And what is being described just is not happening. I tried like hell to convey that at WoV, but Shackleford just doesn't want real players that know how these things work to poo poo this silly fantasy and claims for some reason. I suspect we all know what that reason is...payola.

At the level of blackjack play he is describing at private tables at high end casinos, dealers and pit are watched as closely as players. And at a double deck game at these higher limit tables a player isn't going to be allowed to spread even a fraction of what this bullshitter is claiming. Not unless he isn't spreading with the count and just randomly varying bets, but Mdawg has specifically said he is card counting. Las Vegas doesn't allow what he is claiming at any double deck games let alone the higher limit, higher end games. It is just fantasy stuff.

Both dealers and pit are held responsible for the action at their tables. If a table that a dealer is dealing or a pit guy is in charge of constantly loses or under-performs, they are blamed. Even if just normal variance, they have to answer to someone if it happens regularly. There is just no way a guy is allowed to win constantly. I can't say it enough, it is just fantasy!

Now don't get me wrong, you can win playing blackjack in this town. I know. I do it. But you have to play their game....the game within the game. Move around a lot and play limits that are better tolerated and no one has to answer for.

I saw Trump Jr showing today he gained 45,000 followers yesterday, so either accounts were freed, which I doubt is happening yet, or people came back. We know some liberals crying will leave but their boycotts never work…see Chik Fil A.

As for Tesla, it’s definitely taking a hit today, along with almost all stocks. Anything can happen, which is why there is the spread opportunity there.

I bought 1000 today and we will see how it plays out.

I'm happy about the changes at Twitter but a lot of us machine/blackjack gamblers will be leaving because we won't provide our real names.

On the claims I ratted out a player, I’ll disagree but I understand why some don’t trust me and believe I was wrong. I’m not talking about Monet, because I don’t give a shit about him and certainly would have never trusted him based on his previous statements that no one should trust him.

The closest thing to compare MDawgs claims to is Don Johnson and the Trop AC. Not the same but based on his claims, he could affect operating income in a way few ever could, while being overly comped while winning at will. Johnson’s situation was mostly enabled by casino management making a bad decision on a loss rebate and Johnson exploiting it. There is more to it as we know but the end result was an over 50% drop in table games revenue at Trop in April 2011 from the previous year. Bottom line is one man destroyed the results of that casino for a month. And bad decisions by management allowed it before they figured it out.

We all know Don wasn’t stupid enough to go on Internet forums talking about his claims in advance as MDawg has, so that brings his claims into question. But the stories are similar in that this guy claims to have the ability to “win at will”, “read the flow of the cards” and win hundreds of thousands while allegedly the casino management tells him he always wins and continues to comp him at whale levels. And there is no reason to believe if true, this guy could start playing at higher levels and win millions on a trip. In fact since the point this originally happened, the individual is now claiming mid 6 figure wins on multiple trips.

It certainly seems this individual is a risk to the public companies bottom lines with his claims. Along with claims of ability to play games with rules, or allowances like 100x spreads at BJ, the average customer can’t get. Is this a Don Johnson situation all over again with a guy who publicly puts his special playing conditions out there for the public to read about. Certainly not an AP move I think we can all agree on.

My concern was someone was making bad casino decisions and giving special considerations to a customer for unknown reason. And these decisions were and could affect corporate results. And if the individual is to believed have only gotten worse as he wins more and more each visit. Just a concerned investor reading about a huge risk to his investments.

Call me a rat all you want, but I certainly didn’t rat out an AP. And if in fact he is an “AP”, he’s an idiot for bragging about it while still doing the play on a gambling forum most believe casinos follow.

I’m sure the truth is this individual is great for corporate profits and is comped at a level based on his losses. Much more logical but as shown with DJ, stranger things have happened when casino management gets too smart for the basic business model.

As much as my anti-social proclivities drive me to troll you guys, I also post some useful (or at least thought out) posts. I feel ok with doing this because I'm fairly anonymous. (although todd knows me fairly well for being forum friends (or whatever)) When you strip that away, you can't really talk that much about free speech. So once Twitter knows our identities, there is little there from stopping them giving you up under some legal action. (or hack) Previously whomever would have to work to figure out who you are.

I don't even begin to care about being a machine/bj gamblers. Casinos don't care that much. Nor does any entity care about me, but who knows what I will wish to express in the future? Or others?

I shouldn't respond to any of this but I will because I am a bit of an idiot. My game is NOT about being unnoticed or playing under the radar. That is thinking from last century. My game and game plan which I came up with upon relocating to Vegas is about identifying and playing limits that are well tolerated so that you don't create problems for anyone. That means betting limits. That means session limits and frequency of sessions played at each location. I am not trying to "trick" anyone. Those days are long gone.
