I just looked. I have some Calphalon wok. Never used it. Think it's non stick. I'm never going to use that. I don't like non-stick stuff. Unless it's ceramic.
"Just like any other basic fundamental in life. If you need someone to write you an instruction sheet for the basics then it's probably not a good fit for you. How do you handle someone else's dick in your wife?"
Right back at you using your own words smarty pants.
I don't want to get in the middle of your back and forth with MaxPen.
What I do want to say is that owning a Carbon Steel Wok, that you maintain, is most likely unnecessary for MaxPen.
Not only for him but most home kitchens in general, especially in America, because of the difference in our stovetops.
Although, I love my Cast Iron Cookware I would stay away from a Cast Iron Wok because of the weight.
A Wok made of Teflon is a great choice for someone who doesn't really care that much.
Technically, they won't really be stir frying with it so it's not much different than using any other Teflon Pan.
For the most part a Wok is a luxury item unless you are going to use it as your primary cooking pan.
I have a couple of Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pans for my wife because its just easy for her.
I personally prefer my Cast Iron or Stainless Steel Pots and Pans.
Like I say I just enjoy cooking and its a bit of a hobby which is why I have more than needed.
Some people collect baseball cards.
I tend to buy too many kitchen items.
MaxPen has far too much comp I suppose and probably doesn't care about spending hours in the kitchen.
Many items in my kitchen are unnecessary.
Sort of like when I bought a jeep.
I thought I needed it and a month afterwards I realized it was just a big toy that wasn't practical.
Isn't life fun?
