Oh come on just stop. Rob never owned a Newell. He owns a Winnebago pull behind trailer, purchased for 22k. And there is nothing wrong with that. I could see that be an interesting way to spend some retirement years, travel a bit, see some of the country, even different casino destinations if that is what you are into. But Rob never owned a Newell. That is just make believe. He traveled around the country last summer in....his Winnebago pull behind.

His offers to meet and see "the Newell", were always short window, last minute offers, so that if anyone was going to take him up he could close that window in a hurry. And that is what he did, with the phony ad for a Newell for sale. Posted the ad, with 2 pictures, same 2 we saw from last summer...the outside of a Newell that he snuck up on at an RV park, which didn't even match the pictures he posted in May from the dealership. 2 different Newells, neither that he owned. ;) And then presto, the "supposed Newell" was sold within 18 hours and gone forever.

He said his name was Rob, but I knew that in advance I knew his last name and neither of us introduced ourselves with our last names, as I don’t with people I meet many times a week. Not sure why you ask that because I never offer my offer my last name when I meet new people in both my homes.

On the Newell, I have no clue what he owned or still has. I met the man in Tahoe at a restaurant of my choice and enjoyed a lunch on his dime. And he tipped the server who I know a great amount. And I liked the man and would gladly meet him again. As I have done with many forum members over time. Like I would with you, but I understand and respect why you don’t.

The things I have said about Rob, I have told people where they can go to find the info if they want to verify. The exception is the food stamp fraud situation with the state of Nevada when he lived in a trailer park in Pahrump. That is no longer on the record. I believe those kinds of fraud are not treated the same as a conviction of a crime or judgement. You are banned from the program for a period, like 5 years and then it drops off or you can request that it be removed. If I had to guess, when I shared that info, Rob must have requested it be removed since the time period was over. But everything else mentioned, and some things not mentioned are still there and anyone can look for themselves.

I am not posting documentation for that stuff. It is against the rules of this forum. It is against the rules of the sites that provide the information. And for me, it runs a little too close to doxxing. So I haven't and won't do that. I believe MaxPen did post some of the legal court documents. That is his call.

The "Newell" wasn't even that relevant to me. It was just another tall tale. But it became relevant when Wizard asked Rob for some kind of proof of what he did with the 2.9 million from the double up bug and Rob stated he bought a 1.6 million dollar Newell with the money. I honestly don't know if Mike thought that out ahead of time, laid that trap and Rob fell in, or Rob just tripped himself up as these people tend to do. But that is when it all began to unravel. Rob has to go posing in RV's at a dealership that didn't belong to him and sneaking up on RV's in a the RV park to take pictures. You just can't make this stuff up Boz! :D

To his credit, Rob knew the gig was over and that is why the bitter angry exit with a final post of calling Dan Druff a loser for telling it like it is. Yeah I guess he has popped back in once since to bitch and cry. But it is over. Now it is on to Mdoggy.

Look, most of Rob's claims have been disproven by math over the years, progression winning system, playing -EV, specials plays, stop limits and all the other voodoo. The one claim that can't be disproven by math is the double up bug claim and that is because it is a real story....it just is not Rob's story. He stole it from the news. And while I can't disprove it, just as he can't prove it (although he gave it a good try with the Newel pictures ;)), I can offer some pretty compelling evidence for anyone being even a little objective. Below are 2 quotes from Rob in the discussion on this very forum when the kane/nester double up bug story broke in 2013. Please note the highlighted parts. Rob publicly posts what they did was illegal. If he had done that play, as he now claims, and been arrested, prosecutors could have used these posts of him admitting it was a crime and he knew it was a crime against him.

It would be like if there was a well publicized brinks truck hold up and the guys that did it went to a message board and started talking about it. I have called Rob a lot of names over the years, but even he wouldn't be this stupid. I know some of you here admire Rob, but reading Rob's comments at the time, is there anyone that honestly believes this nonsense. If he was the one who had gotten away with it, he would have kept his damn mouth shut and posted nothing when the story broke. What he posted would be like signing a confession had he been caught.

I tried to go to Arizona. Not to mention offering thousands in freerolls multiple times for one iota of corroborating evidence with a pic(s) that would have taken mere minutes to produce and post on this site. Singer even accused me of sending a bullshit PM. I posted the PM I sent him trying to make it happen. Even after it was obvious that the Newell in the ad was the one from the campground and it was impossible that the interior of the one he posed in at the dealer could even be contained in that exterior. Due to the windows and slide out configurations being completely different. Even his mentioning leveling jacks in the ad was blatantly wrong. His response was typical Singer. I asked him to post his PM response for all to see. Like I did my PM request to get the meetup done. Of course, he was having none of that.

Singer never got caught like he did with the Newell fabrications in the past. The Newell was debunked with concrete proof and clear evidence supplied by Singer himself. The fact that when caught he then wanted to attack me for debunking him instead of apologizing and manning up to his lies was the trigger that set me on the path to send him packing for good. Singer himself supplied all the ammo needed for that as well.

I provided some very subtle clues in some of the posts I made to let Rob know I had all the goods I needed to bring a shit storm down upon him. Posting up derogatory information on him on this site is not gonna embarrass or humiliate him. He was about to lose any shred of dignity he may have had left if he continued down the path he was traveling. He knew that. His whole online presence has always been a troll. But for decades he got away with it due to there not being concrete proof to debunk his bullshit. Well that day finally came to an end. For the last month or two of researching them they seem to be a nightmare.
I haven't looked into Newell's because even if I could afford it I can't imagine spending that much money on it.
Perhaps they don't have the same issues as most every other RV company has because they do serious QC.
That's Quality Control incase you didn't know.
Something that really doesn't exist in the lower level RV Companies.
Lower Level being under 100k RVs.
Personally I don't see a need for anything over the 40k mark for my needs.
And at 40k we are talking 32 to 35 feet.
That's a bit intimidating when you think about driving it down a winding mountainside.

What really bothers me is that it appears that you have a 50/50 shot at getting a lemon from any RV Dealer.
Ironically, the RV business doesn't have any "Lemon Laws" so what they do is pump out the RVs and deal with the warranty issues later.
Of course they pull every trick in the book to avoid dealing with your warranty issue like any other fucking warranty.
Did I mention I hate warranty bullshit?
I don't believe in anyone selling me something talking about a warranty.
Anyways, the point is that usually what happens is you have to do the repairs yourself.
Or you have to put your RV in the shop from 2 weeks to 6 months to get it corrected.
Its a really Fucking Shady business with high demand.
You basically just have to live with the current state of the business if you want an RV which many people do.

A brand new RV from the 20k to 40k range is a crapshoot from what I can tell and you basically better expect serious problems buying new.
They say it is better to buy used but I can't even imagine what a nightmare that would be and the asking price is basically the same as new.
It's not like buying a car from a person to person sale.
The used RVs are usually on consignment from some dealer who is jacking up the price.

It is basically a nightmare to get involved.
If you want it and I do, you just have to take the plunge and realize that you are probably going to pay 50% or more on top of your RV sale price to get it right.
The damn thing is very high maintenance that you have to keep up with or else you are going to constantly run into expensive scenarios.
The usual problems are breaks in your pipes/lines, water or sewage back up problems and leaks/moisture/mold getting inside your RV along with flooding problems.

I'm not sure if it is worth the price of admission.
A wall tent will save you 30 grand and you can get deeper into areas that you can't get into with the RV.
However you have more issues like setting up and tearing down the tent.
Possible roof fire.
Possible Bear problems.
Lugging every thing in and you might have to bring your own wood which is heavy and somewhat expensive.

I looked into pop-up tents and campers along with putting a tent on the bed of my truck but if you do that you'll have issues with staying warm.
You can live in a wall tent during 0 degree Fahrenheit Weather as long as you have enough fuel/wood/wood pellets.

And I wouldn't get a 5th wheel trailer.
A trailer is nice though because you set up in under 30 minutes and you can use your truck to go to the store and replenish your supplies which you will need to do.
That's why a Class B or C isn't such a great idea because you have to break camp to go to the store.
Pros and Cons for any of the choices though, just like anything else in this miserable thing we call LIFE.

I'm not convinced what the best solution is.
Perhaps start with the Wall Tent, Wood Stove and Supplies and see how it goes.
That way your only invested in at around 4 grand.
Easier to take a loss compared to a 30 grand RV.
If an individual hates the work involved with a Wall Tent I guess they take the plunge with the RV purchase.
That way you have the best of both worlds eventually.
And, most likely after a trip or two you just get bored and stay at home letting the television wash all over you while you get high on drugs and eat a pizza.

You can buy a lot of hotel nights, rental cars, and airfares for the cost of RV depreciation, maintenance, campground fees, and gas. If your intention is to get out in the wilderness then an RV isn't good for that anyhow. You would want some kind of overlander setup. RV should stand for Retard Vehicle because there is nothing recreational about them as far as I can tell.

Supposedly they found tents dating back 50,000 years B.C. in Russia but I don't trust the dating system that far back.
With your comment and the more researching I do I think I'm going to go with the Wall Tent and see how it goes.
That way I can bail out with minimal loss and if I really hate it and I can always go check into a motel/hotel or airbnb like you say.
I haven't really ran the numbers in comparison but I thought that the RV cost beat the cost of hotel nights, rental cars, and airfares by a large margin but I guess that is if you get one of the good RVs and like I say you have about a 50% chance of that happening.

I have always looked at wall tents and such as something one would have if they plan on occupying a site for a significant period of time. Plus they are really only beneficial in inclement weather. A popup on your pickup bed seems the way to go for all things a week or less. If there is something drawing me out into the wilderness I am probably not planning on shacking up. So I would go with some sort of bed roll(cause I am getting older), sleeping bag if necessary, and a tarp. I don't even own a tent. But i do have 3 different sleeping bags depending on the expected situation.

This guy on youtube is pretty good at it.
Not sure if he is doing this on his property though.
He has a golf cart like all terrain vehicle which seems really helpful if you're going to camp for 3 or 4 months.
It can be difficult to find open land that you are allowed to make camp on for more than 2 weeks.
The government wants their money!
I guess you could just tow that in with your 4x4 truck but not necessary.
I like the video because it shows you how serious the work is setting up your camp but he shows it can be done with only one person.
These guys have decades of experience though.
Probably grew up doing this with their father.
He shows you that you can have a shower, toilet and kitchen with a wall tent.
The main point is to get out there and do it and stop day dreaming which I think is going on 2 or 3 years for me now lol.

Singer never got caught like he did with the Newell fabrications in the past. The Newell was debunked with concrete proof and clear evidence supplied by Singer himself. The fact that when caught he then wanted to attack me for debunking him instead of apologizing and manning up to his lies was the trigger that set me on the path to send him packing for good. Singer himself supplied all the ammo needed for that as well.

I provided some very subtle clues in some of the posts I made to let Rob know I had all the goods I needed to bring a shit storm down upon him. FYI I'm not selfish when it comes to AP stuff, I'm quite the opposite of that. I'm willing to bring people in on plays and give information(stuff that person had no clue about) knowing I will make significantly less as a result, I have done so more times than I can count, I'm selective and cautious when doing so. I have made a few mistakes, but it is what it is. It's been significantly way more positive overall.

The first person I even told way back in the day ended up being a complete disaster for many reasons, but what did I know, I was in my early 20's and still working a normal job and while AP'ing before and after work. Things went fast, it seems as if my life basically changed overnight. I will pat myself on the back considering my background, how young I was, how little I had, how fast I scaled up, and how well I did, not know anything(you couldn't just go look this stuff up on the internet or find a book that spelled it out), having a mentor or safety net, all while maintaining a fun social life.

I'm very selfish when it comes to spreading TMI all willy nilly across the interwebs or telling every Tom Dick and Harry who will listen.

I don't own or want to own an RV, but I know a bit about them.

The first question a potential buyer must ask is "Where, when and how will I use it?"

For example, will it be a year round residence used in a cold climate, or for fair weather us in warmer climes?

Will you be alone or have others with you?

What is your budget, both to buy and maintain / pay expenses?

For the single guy on a budget a used van might work, especially if the he can figure out a way to organize / rebuild the cargo compartment to allow him to sleep, shit, and cook.

That's the crux: being self-contained, not having to leave in order to cook or go to the bathroom.

As far as finding a used one, I'd look on craigslist.

Of course they pull every trick in the book to avoid dealing with your warranty issue like any other fucking warranty.
Did I mention I hate warranty bullshit?
I don't believe in anyone selling me something talking about a warranty.
Anyways, the point is that usually what happens is you have to do the repairs yourself.
Or you have to put your RV in the shop from 2 weeks to 6 months to get it corrected.
Its a really Fucking Shady business with high demand.
You basically just have to live with the current state of the business if you want an RV which many people do.

A brand new RV from the 20k to 40k range is a crapshoot from what I can tell and you basically better expect serious problems buying new.
They say it is better to buy used but I can't even imagine what a nightmare that would be and the asking price is basically the same as new.
It's not like buying a car from a person to person sale.
The used RVs are usually on consignment from some dealer who is jacking up the price.

It is basically a nightmare to get involved.
If you want it and I do, you just have to take the plunge and realize that you are probably going to pay 50% or more on top of your RV sale price to get it right.
The damn thing is very high maintenance that you have to keep up with or else you are going to constantly run into expensive scenarios.
The usual problems are breaks in your pipes/lines, water or sewage back up problems and leaks/moisture/mold getting inside your RV along with flooding problems.

I'm not sure if it is worth the price of admission.
A wall tent will save you 30 grand and you can get deeper into areas that you can't get into with the RV.
However you have more issues like setting up and tearing down the tent.
Possible roof fire.
Possible Bear problems.
Lugging every thing in and you might have to bring your own wood which is heavy and somewhat expensive.

I looked into pop-up tents and campers along with putting a tent on the bed of my truck but if you do that you'll have issues with staying warm.
You can live in a wall tent during 0 degree Fahrenheit Weather as long as you have enough fuel/wood/wood pellets.

And I wouldn't get a 5th wheel trailer.
A trailer is nice though because you set up in under 30 minutes and you can use your truck to go to the store and replenish your supplies which you will need to do.
That's why a Class B or C isn't such a great idea because you have to break camp to go to the store.
Pros and Cons for any of the choices though, just like anything else in this miserable thing we call LIFE.

I'm not convinced what the best solution is.
Perhaps start with the Wall Tent, Wood Stove and Supplies and see how it goes.
That way your only invested in at around 4 grand.
Easier to take a loss compared to a 30 grand RV.
If an individual hates the work involved with a Wall Tent I guess they take the plunge with the RV purchase.
That way you have the best of both worlds eventually.
And, most likely after a trip or two you just get bored and stay at home letting the television wash all over you while you get high on drugs and eat a pizza.

This guy on youtube is pretty good at it.
Not sure if he is doing this on his property though.
He has a golf cart like all terrain vehicle which seems really helpful if you're going to camp for 3 or 4 months.
It can be difficult to find open land that you are allowed to make camp on for more than 2 weeks.
The government wants their money!
I guess you could just tow that in with your 4x4 truck but not necessary.
I like the video because it shows you how serious the work is setting up your camp but he shows it can be done with only one person.
These guys have decades of experience though.
Probably grew up doing this with their father.
He shows you that you can have a shower, toilet and kitchen with a wall tent.
The main point is to get out there and do it and stop day dreaming which I think is going on 2 or 3 years for me now lol.

And when you decided to leave the site you will need a 50 foot trailer truck to put everything back. Looks a lot harder than buying a farm only to live in.
