Although I did suggest you tax the problem directly as an aside. Those are the people benefiting the most and costing the future the most so I would suggest they be taxed accordingly. Carbon credits and such are just ripe to be scammed.
At least with the clean energy people they can't be secretive about everything like the military people.
The reason we are doomed is just as much a people problem as a tech problem. People don't care or can't understand why they should care.
