At some point, I have an interest in talking about this case. Not on any forum. I fought for that right and have some things I want to say. Obviously I can't name the casino, although I expect that too will come out. And I can't say a settlement amount. I will abide by that. But there are some things I want to share that I haven't yet on advice from my attorney. GWAE would have been the spot, but the timing didn't work. Maybe some podcast by Shackleford or Dan Druff. Maybe AC. But two of those venues would be problematic because I will not show my face, even if my name becomes known. We will see how it plays out.

I am going to take a break for a while. Not going to commit for how long. Maybe it will be days, maybe weeks, maybe months, maybe forever. That is my choice and I have the right to post again whenever I want. But I will tell you, I am growing real tired of the damage being done and attempted done to me, simply because I share some things on a gambling forum.

So until we meet again, and that may be 2 days, who knows, ta ta for now.

It is pretty clear that homophobia plays a big part in most of these attacks, isn't it MrV? Seedvalue is wrong. I didn't announce on this forum that I was gay. Another member did that for me. I take him at his word that he didn't do so out of malice. BUT I don't and won't deny it or run from it either. It is part of who I am.

But one had to wonder....if that had never come out, would these attacks of me be at the same level? There is an anti-AP element to these forums (Here and at GF) so there would be some anti-AP attempts at discrediting, just as there are with other AP's, but the level would be turned down by a factor of 9.

Settlement money was transferred into my personal account overnight. This officially ends this ordeal for me. It has been over since the settlement agreement was signed actually late last week, but it isn't really over until you get the money. ;)

There are a couple of the troll haters that are running around claiming they can find no record of this case, when records are public information. I don't know if they are just saying that or they are too stupid to know where to look. It is funny others have found it. I have no doubt one of these guys wants to find info on this case to further dox me. He has doxed me before. I think he will link to the case and then claim, "well I didn't dox him, I just linked to a casino case". What a jackass.

I am pretty sure something about this case will hit the news very shortly, as I have been contacted by email and text by one local TV News station here in Vegas. I didn't respond to either contact. I can't provide the information they are probably seeking. I don't know if they can get their hands on video, but if they do, I am sure this will be mentioned on the local news. At this point I don't even care, even if they name me.

Just a couple final things I want to say. First, I am so pleased with my legal representation in this matter. The guy is the best. That reputation is well deserved. And I know I presented a challenge to him because of my forum presence as well as I was not willing to do what was necessary for the highest settlement, go the distance. He never pressured me on anything. He presented options and everything was always my decision. I and every other AP, table game or not is lucky to have this gentleman in our corner.

Other than that, I am pretty unhappy, even a bit angry, with every other thing involving this case, starting with that this incident even occurred. The compensation I received is NOT adequate. It was never going to be. And I am not talking about a fractured arm, I have no idea what that is worth in the personal injury law field. I am talking about illegal arrest and detention by a casino and the possible loss of income that may come from that. 7 figures would be a fair beginning. I was never going to get anything close to that. No one has ever gotten that. And the worst part is any amount through settlement or verdict award isn't even paid by the casino. It is paid by an insurance company. If you bring legal case against a casino the deck is severely stacked against you. It is like trying to play blackjack when the aces have been removed.

The only chance you have to hold them accountable is in the court of public opinion. If details or video is released and shown on the news. Maybe that creates a situation where the reputation is damaged and effects bottom line, or at least that someone has to answer for and even that is a long shot. Most active players, myself included, just aren't willing to go through that. They count on that. So they win at every freaking turn. :mad:

Bottom line: I am not the winner in this situation. Never was going to be. The deck is stacked in a way that can't happen. But at least it is over and I will move on to whatever is next.
