And bankroll? Theres a big difference in what you need working 10% edges rather than 1% edges. You can keep feeding your win into mutual funds or whatever while carrying just 10K around to put down machine plays. 10K is actually overkill.

Five to ten years ago there were a bunch of us creating slots who understood advantage play. We would double check with each other if we thought a slot could be exploited. Many of these still made it to market, but at least we did our due-diligence. It takes a slot mathematician who is schooled in advantage play to understand that there may be an issue with their design. I seriously doubt anyone is doing these double checks any more -- much of the work of doing slot math and creating new slots is now automated. I love to hear stories of these machines being beaten. Good for you!

They always say that as fast as security measures for something like counterfiting money are put in place, the counterfitters. are a step ahead. Same applied to computer hacking. AND I would think the same applied to casino slots. The good machine AP's are either one step ahead, or in the case of new games, doesn't take the smart guys like a mickey crimm long to figure it out, no?

As far as the one step ahead concerning vulture slots, there is no real need to stay one step ahead, you want to take a step back since they keep making new variations of past vulnerabilities.

I used to over-analyze my results. Seeing results for specific casinos that had no real menaing because the sample size was too small to mean anything. Another flaw is seeing a pattern that you think means one thing when it doesn't.

Lets say for a casino or small group of casinos I notice that my win rate is 3 times as high earlier in the week (M,T,W) as later in the week and weekends. One might jump to the conclusion that they are doing something differently on weekends, causing you to lose or win less. But the fact may be that your biggest wins are when you play heads up....to be expected as you get more max bet opportunities sometimes many in a row. So the real culprit to this disparage is that you get more heads up play in early in the week and less towards the end of the week and weekends (probably very little on weekends). The conclusion you jumped to first may not be the right one.
