In any case, tewlj had no problem disclosing that Singer was domiciled at an address of a home listed as owned by his daughter & her husband...but he is claiming that he's uncomfortable disclosing similar info about redietz.

Of course he doesn't have the info that he claims to have. After all, next Halloween is still 10 months away.

The availability to search for ownership info depends on how the county sets up their searchable info online.

Some counties give all the needed sale info to show whose name title is in, and also allow one to view the deed of trust the buyer used to finance the purchase.

If that info is publicly available for Johnson City then KJ would have no problem seeing whose name the purchase money loan is in; otherwise he'd need to inquire by phone or letter.

And since our son (a retired Army Vet of 20 years) has far less resources than our daughter and he wanted a home away from the Phoenix area, we decided to live half the year in her Phx. area house and the other half in the S. Dakota home we purchased and are in-process of transferring it to her per SD law. Again, for probate reasons.

This, to kew--a low-income individual who will bever know what having children and a family actually entails--means we're "living in our daughter's basement or driveway" or whatever twist he uses out of ignorance--all because hes envious of my success in gambling and because he has none.

So it's easy to see why he's got such a hard-on for red. Losers HATE people who win gambling. And kew is exceedingly frustrated in his failure to convince anyone of his lies.

Does your state allow for Transfer on Death Deeds?

I have some set up for two properties where it will go seemlessly to whomever I designated without probate and without anyone paying capital gains tax on the transfer.

If available it's great.

There's a fed form 700 or something that we filled out when we gave our kids money for their homes. They paid no tax on that "income" and we didn't either (other than on the portion withdrawn from a retirement account) because the exclusion amount is in the millions. Our son needed the money for a home but our daughter really didn’t. That one was for us to live in, and we pay insurance, taxes, HOA fees, and maintenance, upgrades & repairs. As I said, it's a financial tool I learned about as a way to eliminate the often annoying and time consuming probate process. One of those "advantage plays" for our kids, if you will.

As I said some county data bases allow you to look at the actual deed of trust used to finance the purchase: it shows the amount borrowed and the name or names of the individuals in whose name title will vest.

Obviously if someone privately loaned purchase money to someone, unsecured via DoT or otherwise, there would be no public record of the private loan...but I suspect you know that.
