The inconsistency is you not demanding that he put up proof like you do others. You know, the ones you are trying to "gotcha." But for some reason you never have wanted to "gotcha" Robocchio.

It's good that Rob keeps internet tabs on the "real Jerry Logan," because if he didn't, how would we know that a dastardly Jerry Logan imposter had posted at lvadvice.com?
Coach, don't you think it's odd that Rob claims that a fake Jerry Logan must have been at lvadvice.com? Take your time, think it through.
Great idea -- why doesn't Jerry come on board at this forum and grace us with his experiences with Rob? We'd need it to be the "real Jerry Logan," of course, so as not to instigate a gotcha from coach. Second great idea -- let's have Jerry come on board, share his experiences, and post his driver's license, which is what Rob wanted me to do for three/four years here. Then coach would be able to rein in his doubts, and everybody could get to know each other.
I love it when a plan comes together.
"Jerry Logan" is about as real as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. Nothing but one of Robs made up personas to push his worthless systems. Wise up!
The video poker game in question, the $100 10/6 DDB, is in either Laughlin or Arizona. So it must be in Laughlin because Robocchio absolutely refuses to play in dirty filthy Indian casinos in Arizona where you will get cheated. Isn't that right, Robocchio?
Now, Robocchio says the game is advantage. Well, technically it is, 100.07%. But pretty thin. But Robocchio has told us for years that you can't win on these positive games. So why did he go against everything he has stood for for 20 years and play this game? I personally don't think he did but a pic of the W2-G would sure rub our noses in it.
I don't know about Jerry Logan, the whole Jerry Logan episode was before my time.
But Rob doesn't claim that a fake Jerry Logan must have been at lvadvice.com.
Rob's post above doesn't stipulate that any Jerry Logan posted on that site.
Now, back to my original question....
My recollection is that Rob has consistently told us that anyone can win on any commonly available VP games with any paytable, he certainly didn't exclude the possibility of winning on positive games.
If winning on a 100.07 game is possible, then so is winning on a 99.17 game.
Isn't that what he's been saying all along?
The story as presented:
1) Rob, who has spent thousands of posts claiming his systems are the way to play, has not played high stakes video poker for a very long time.
2) Rob decides one day to plunk down a 20K investment to take a shot at a marginally positive video poker game after not playing at these stakes for a long time.
3) Rob decides, for some reason, to not use his strategies as laid out in thousands of posts across many forums. He decides it's "recreational" time as he plunks down the 20K. Therefore he does not start at $1 or $2 stakes.
4) Rob hits the four aces in a brief period of time (at $500 a spin, 20K's not lasting too long), thereby making a neat 200K profit.
5) Rob takes his winnings in cash. There's no check to photograph, although there should be one helluva W2G. Also no pic of the cash or Rob's smiling face with the jackpot. Of course, the casino in question decided they wouldn't use Rob's posing with the check/cash as advertising because what casino does that?
I'm sure blackhole and coach belly are chomping at the bit to ask all of the appropriate questions.
Hey coach, why don't YOU ask Rob if he knows the Jerry Logan who posted on lvadvice.com? That should clarify things, eh?
Rob would have to be familiar with lvadvice.com, and have read the Jerry Logan posts there, in order to answer that question.
I used your link and couldn't locate any Jerry Logan posts, so I don't know what you are talking about.
Please copy and paste the post(s) you reference above.
Red, you need to get over it. It's clear you're going to be forever furious over my hitting this. But this is just advice. I'm enjoying your P-A-I-N....especially since you're undoubtedly "chomping at the bit" holding back soliciting me again to help finance your sportsbetting habit.
I've NEVER had any casino take my picture taken with any jackpot. Most ask, and a savvy player just says no.
Understandable that you're bothered by the fact that I hit this thing in maybe 15 minutes of play, which included waiting for the first $1500 "jackpot" to be paid separately and setting up of the machine W2G attendant. It certainly WAS fast, efficient work. If this still bothers you, I suggest you try telling yourself what jbjb always tells himself when it comes to Alan & myself's big wins as a way to deal with the very unsettling dumbfoundedness: POST THAT YOU KNOW I LOST ALL OF IT AND MORE BEFORE HITTING IT--OR WILL EVENTUALLY! He gets instant relief from that lie every time. The only problem is, this time he got exposed once again as just another armchair AP when he erroneously said it was a -EV game I was playing. Combine that with his lack of knowledge about free play and what do you have??
I see you're coyly still trying to get a location on the casino. Not gonna happen, even if you're one of these "sleuths". Right now I believe this is MY play, except for a few big-playing tourists that may happen upon it. I've taken steps to keep it private, at least until I go in to play it again with another $20k for another minimum $3k stop-play profit. We'll be here at our first RV park N. of the Phx. area for a few weeks and I plan on shooting over to LV soon. Yes I'll give a report.
This lvadvice forum you're all excited about? I couldn't find anything about the banning of "JL" for faking a jackpot or whatever you said. What year was it?
I find it so weird when I encounter someone like Singer on these forums. Someone making outlandish claims and having this weird need to be someone they are not. And to go to the extreme of the sockpuppetry that he goes to, making up people to vouch for him and sing his praises. I am sure that is some kind of mental deficiency or void but it is just weird to me.
Now I know he will fire back saying similar things about me. I do make some claims as part of sharing my experiences. But I don't have this goofy need to make people believe. And while I have used a couple sockpuppets to return to forums that I was banned usually to post something specific and usually intentionally obvious with a similar name, I have never even considered this nonsense that these sockpuppet people like Singer and Moses do, creating not just sock puppets, but alternative personalities. One of Moses sock's here is a female for god sakes. THIS isn't normal.
The bottom line is like I always say, it doesn't take that much to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who is just talking. And while the use of sockpuppets for false credibility "muddies" that process, it doesn't change it, only prolongs it. Sooner or later the person proves themselves to just be talking.
And while I myself have a few haters, some that follow me to different sites, there hate and attacks on me almost always turn out to be about some sort of personal issue rather than the math and these people always turn out to be non-AP's that can't even recognize the math. Because my math adds up. Like me. Hate me. My math adds up. For good reason.
But keep going Argentino/Singer. I suppose you will go to your grave continuing to perpetuate this little farce that now only 2 or 3 people still believe, and I don't even thing those 2-3 even really believe anymore. It is just all really weirdness!
Robocchio, you don't have to worry about an invasion of players. To play the game properly you need something you don't have, at least a $2,000,000 bankroll. No one cares where it's at. Only you. So pot shot to your hearts content. Go ahead and do everything you've been saying for years you don't do. And we won't be hearing about your losing plays on it, will we? You're as phony as a three dollar bill, Robocchio.
So to believe this story, we have to accept Singer just decided to throw $20k at this gane on a whim because it’s slightly positive. And he happened to get lucky and hit. And went against everything he preached for years.
Only truth is none of us, including Alan, will EVER see any proof that this happened. That is the Lock of Century.
Meanwhile Robbo is the center of attention again, happy as can be, and we are all pawns in his fantasy world for playing along.
Well played Singer. Only issue is what is the encore?
Wrong. I decided to throw 200 credits at this because the last time I saw a +EV $100 machine it was on 10/7 dbp at the Atlantis Reno in the early 2000's. And if you recall, I no longer play my strategy because I gamble recreationally these days. As I have always said, I always play the best pay tables available. Show me one better than this....oh that's right, you penny-ante AP's have no clue where anything over dollars like this or higher might be. And I seem to recall all you "AP's" moaning and groaning over how anyone who plays -EV games will always lose. So I jump on a hi-limit +EV opportunity that few others anywhere can afford to play, get super lucky in short order, and you're left with what??--that it's not my win, or I probably LOST or WILL LOSE all that I've won and more? Is that what AP's do? Can you spell HYPOCRITICAL!
What actually constitutes "proof" to you? Are these forums inundated with $100 vp jackpots, so much so that heads spin and so much "proof" accompanies them that no one could possibly keep track of duplicate postings? Did I Photoshop this in from a quarter or dollar machine somehow? Why don't you guys ask your wives (those who have them of course--which isn't many) to take a look. They never got a chance to see my package so at least afford them this luxury and see if it's real enuf to them or not.
I'm still contemplating posting the tax form since I have it with me. What'll that do for the "I hope he really didn't hit it" crowd--will it create apologies, or will this evolve into "it's a fake too" Adam Schiff-type buffoonery?
Can’t answer for others but I’ll apologize and congratulate you on the win if you post it.
But it will be for having the bankroll to play it and getting lucky, not for it being a good bet.
I understand. But why was it not a good bet? It was +EV, albeit not by much. But it is better than just about everything else I have found over the years and have been criticized for playing.
I consider ANY VP win to be a product of good luck. You never know what's gonna pop up on the draw or the deal. This hand isn't all that hard to come by with holding two Aces. Happens a lot at casinos everywhere everyday. Just think about it--a lousy four of a kind paying $200,000 by betting just $500. And if I were playing what I usually play--TDBP--my payoff would have been $400k. Problem was, that game was just slightly under 100%. One of the reasons I'm the best player ever, intelligence-wise, to ever come down the video poker pike.
I have NO problem with this and as a matter of fact it reinforces one of my modifications to Rob's strategies. I've hit this hand (on quarters) at least 3 times by scoping machines where other players just finished playing AP style on bonus poker. I merely switch to ddbp because to my thinking WAY more than 100 credits have been played on bp and all I'm doing is merely completing the rest of the strategy. Several times the quads came quickly. Like I say-I do play modified versions of his strategies that I developed by just using common sense.
If something like this actually worked even to a lessor degree, you would be a multi millionaire in no time at all. The same and similar methods have been tried time and time again since the beginning of VP. You can buy just about any version of a VP machine you wish. People own VP machines and they try everything imaginable. Singer must be the absolute worst mentor ever.
p.s. Rob's 200k jackpot pic is probably taken from someones home VP machine they modified to $100 denominations. This would explain the 10/6 pay-table as well. Notice how the picture is taken perfectly and only frames the screen and a little bit if the box cabinet border.
NOTHING works every time! That's why there's a number of credits to play and if you lose you go and start another session. After being called an idiot, I don't care to go into more detail. And I certainly don't care about the validity of the pic. It doesn't affect my sex life or my beliefs.
I don't think I have ever really called you any harsh names like that. I may have razzed you a bit for following Rob's bogus system. I may have even thought you were him at one time. I think I have mostly just asked you for some logic and explanations.
NVM what Boz said.
I have no doubt you hit something good while trying out some type of system. Is it impossible to believe it was just dumb luck? You yourself said, it doesn't work every time. Why not? Could it be there is absolutely no merit to it working, but it WORKED OUT for you a few times. And then, there are all the times it didnt work out, right?
It's no different than bringing a lucky charm to the machine, it may work sometimes and other times it won't. It could by chance even work out that whenever they bring it they win and when they don't they lose. <<That's all parts of things being random. There is probably a guy out there that loses whenever he brings his charm and wins when he leaves it at home. If I were to hit a jackpot after jumping up and down three times, turning around 4 times and farting 2 times should I automatically believe there something to that system? It will probably work sometimes. You want to believe the machines have some type of memory, dueness, hot cold streaks or break point. I think that's a natural assumption for people to make when it comes to machines. Unfortunately, this is why the casinos take so much money from droned out players(ZK would be proud).
Rob I think you should post the name of the casino. If it's on the casino floor you can't keep it a secret or your personal play because you can't play it 24/7 or lock it up while you're traveling. If it's in Vegas I'll go to the casino and take a picture and show that it's not a home machine.
Question: can you adjust the paytable on home machines? Doesn't it require a new chip?
If you follow Robocchio's timeline it's not in Las Vegas. He talks of being in northern Arizona and will pass through Vegas sometime soon. It's either in Laughlin or Arizona. You know, one of them dirty, filthy, cheating Indian casinos that Robocchio has sworn many times over that he won't play in. Might be Twin Arrows outside Flagstaff.
PS: a "home machine" is a machine that used to be in a casino so yes, you can change payscales.
I used to have a friend with a similiar system for slot machines. He would watch someone lose badly on a machine and then say "Well they just lost $400 on that machine. Normally by the time I lose $400 thats when my luck changes and i start winning. This is great now I can play this machine and start winning right off the bat! Its already been 'primed' with someone elses $400 so now I can swoop in and take the wins!"
Sometimes it worked great. Other times not so much.
Forget to mention. His system worked even better if the original person who lost on that slot machine had been playing it "AP Style"
My point was that the suggested 100 credits of bonus poker to start one of his sessions had already been played by a previous player and so I skipped that part and just started MY session on the 300 credits remaining on an advanced bp game. SEVERAL times (not EVERY time) quads came up in 100 credits- more or less. It was only a modified way of playing his strategies- not a magical formula or trying to change the odds. And yes- I know the " variance" reply that playing the bonus poker 100 credits myself I could have hit the royal. Again-I have no problem here that he sat at the right machine at the right time with the right game and -good luck.
Hey Alan Mendelson.
ChesterDog:
If I remember correctly, Atlantic City's Tropicana had a very good offer that happened to be on April 1 some years ago.
It was a loss rebate for I think $2,000. Many players took advantage of it. I hit a nice jackpot, but some friends each lost about $2,000 and got reimbursed with two payments later in slot dollars on two different dates.
AxelWolf:
They actually did a big 150% loss rebate IIRC it was 3k (Of course Alan M. said 150% loss rebates are impossible no casino has ever done that) I never told him where it was. But now that you mentioned they had a big loss rebate I don't mind saying now.
-------------
You can now go do your research Alan. It happen about the same time as the Revel opened give or take 4 months(i will say less than 2 months either way, they normally did it at the end of April from what I can remember). Lets see just how good you are at "investigative reporting" because I know 150% they had a 150% loss rebate for 2k or more. AND, they did it more than once.
Makes sense. I,do that sometimes on table games with the Martingale too. One thing I always hated about the Martingale was that you are'nt winning that much you are just betting more and more to recoup your losses. So to overcome that problem I'll watch a blackjack or roulette table and when someone losses 6 or 7 hands in a row and busts out I'll go take their seat and then do the huge Martingale bet that I would of been doing to recoup those six or 7 bets since they already played through those losses. The beauty of this is when you win its all profit since they were actually the ones that took all those losses and not me so its all profit. If you lose then you only lost the same money you would have lost if you had been the one making the first 6 or 7 bets so its all upside and no downside.
Really, you don't remember that? I think there was even talk of a bet. You said that any casino doing this would be adverting it all over blah blah blah. I have no clue where its at on the forum. Perhaps RS_ knows since you were arguing with him about it as well since he also knew of one that was going on at that time.
And while we are at it. I noticed you claimed that AP's keep claiming they have $800 an hour plays all the time, or some BS like that. What AP's are claiming that, please show me some links and examples? I don't think any of the AP's here or on WOV are claiming that, if you find someone who is reputable and not just some unknown loudmouth bragging troll, I will be shocked and I will probably have some questions for them. Oh, and BTW, a while ago you started off at $500 and you have since bumped that number up. DO plays come up that are worth $800+++ and hour? You betcha they do including ones worth thousands and hour. Did you see the story in AC about the online casinos starting off seeded vulture games where you could bet thousands with a significant edge? Yes that's just one example, however, there are examples time and time again of this stuff. And that's just the stuff you hear about, a very small fraction. Not everyone feels the need to post up about all their plays and how good they are. Most solid AP's are not concerned with telling Alan about their plays. Given your hoistory, I would think any normal AP who is successful would want to avoid telling you about their plays like the plague. There are many good plays from the past, present and future that you will never hear about. And don't think guys like yourself is the only reason for this. One of many reasons is because plays oftentimes repeat and there is no reason to educate others about stuff that could cost you 10's of thousands.
Do thousand dollar plays last for months? Not likely. Do the same AP's get on them daily? That's Highly doubtful. But, big plays like that can last for days sometimes. Let's not forget about all the plays worth $100-800 an hour. If an AP finds 4 really good plays per year that are worth 15k each that's not bad when you consider the rest of the year they can play other stuff, even if some of that stuff is only worth $20-$300 an hour. I'm just guessing here, but if you took all the casino and all the casino games around the world I bet there are are plays that are worth $1000+ per hour once every 4 days.
One thing I noticed is... you and other "anti AP" guys love to use extreme examples that fit your whatever argument and theory you are trying to prove. Like when you said your AP friend only makes a little bit each year. You guys love to lump all AP's together especially when it comes to negative aspects. Like the tipping shit bob21 was going on about. I guarantee you I tip well during AP play there have been many occasions I have tipped very well. There are lots of other thing you guys come up with that isn't even close to what you think about all AP's at least not in my case.
BTW I think it was really shitty of you to out your AP friend like that. Why, just to make some point about AP? I guess you have no scruples when it comes to proving some point or when you are trying to make AP's look bad. Kinda like when you thought you were outing me about the fact that I was interested in buying this site by exposing a private conversation. While I wasn't trying to hide that fact, nor did I care who knew. You didnt know that, in fact, you thought wanted to keep that a secret, but that was no concern to you. And there are other examples as well. Is it worth your reputation and having people think you are a douchebag trying to debunk Advantage players(with zero success, mind you)?
Isn't that exactly how it is! A man pumps $600 into a machine and walks away broke. On the left the player hurts himself running to the machine because it's due. On the right the player wouldn't touch it with the ten foot pole. One player comes in and wants all the available history of their machine and another player plugs their ears, doesn't want to know a thing. Takes all kinds.
Yeah. About 4-5 years ago I was showing a friend how I played and was fortunate enough to hit quads. He was upset I left the machine and asked if he could play it. I suggested he might wanna play another, but he insisted the machine was "hot" and sat down and lost his VP bankroll, told me I was just a lucky sob and went upstairs to play the slots.
Again, no such thing as a hot or cold machine. YOU the player makes the decision on when the shuffling of the deck stops. The machine doesn't. It only pays or takes based on the decisions YOU the player make. The machine has no control over the outcome, because YOU the player tells it what to do.
That $200,000 hit Rob posted, had the PLAYER hit the buttons at a different time, those 4 aces wouldn't have shown up, because the PLAYER and NOT the machine made that decision.
AxelWolf you wrote: "(of course Alan M. said 150% loss rebates are impossible no casino has ever done that)."
I want to know where I said that? I remember well the debate over loss rebates but I have no recollection of ever saying anything like "150% loss rebates are impossible no casino has ever done that." I'm asking you to show me where I said that. In fact, I think you manufactured this quote.
And not only did you pull this quote out of thin air, but you pulled this topic out of thin air and put it smack dab in the middle of a thread where it doesn't belong and during a discussion about a "big win and jackpot."
If I'm correct it just shows what a troll you are. So I'm giving you the chance to produce the link to my post where I purportedly said "150% loss rebates are impossible no casino has ever done that."
But I'll give you a hint: I know never to say anything is impossible. In fact I'll say right now that even 200% loss rebates ARE possible.
Now produce the link.
Produce it.
This has become funnier than I ever could have imagined! If that was my goal here--and it actually isn't that bad of an idea. Conspiracy theories, Singer lurking around hi-limit areas, and now axel's "home machine" paranoia as a way to deal with all this? And how long do you think it was really gonna take before the frustrations led to making up more criticisms about Alan!? AP's are just beside themselves, aren't they. They could never take it when I posted a few pictures and near-weekly accounts of my vp jackpots in GT for 8 years, always calling the managing editor for verification of my tax forms and then claiming we were in "cahoots". Now, they claim "there's no winning to be had" on -EV games after I post pics and multiple W2G's. So what happens? I play a +EV game, get lucky and hit it big, and the same people go berserk, saying it just can't be!!
I will be playing this machine one more time and I will report on the results. Only a loss will be accepted and acceptable here, right? I'm still going over in my mind what the upside of posting a tax form would be, other than to get you people further riled up with more of your stupid theories again. THAT would actually be worth it....if I cared more about this than our summer getaway. We'll see. In the meantime, keep doing what you dumbos do best. :)
Since you're not posting a link Axel I'm going to ask you how you got the statement if you weren't able to read it here? Perhaps it's because you made the whole thing up? Well, I'm still waiting for the link.
And how about this, you wrote "BTW I think it was really shitty of you to out your AP friend like that."
Well here you go again Axel. Who did I out? What name did I give? Post the link where I gave his name, Mr Troll.
Of course that that was not an exact quote Alan(I should have made that more clear, sorry for that). If I had a link I would have quoted exactly what you said. I doubt you said it was impossible, but you made it sound like it never did happen and it never would. I might go look for the conversation and provide a link.
So, I'm a troll? take a look at your anti AP pals like Rob Singer who constantly troll any and all threads with their BS. So much so that they have been banned from threads multiple threads and multiple forums. I have yet to ever be banned from a thread or a forum. I have never stomped off a forum or had to self ban myself either. For fuck sake even YOU had to ban Singer.
The fact is, I was just being lazy and it was convenient for me to post in this thread to you since I was already here and I had just seen your post. I was not even thinking about what thread it was(it's not like this forum needs more than 2 or 3 threads but I understand). I agree it's in the wrong place. I will be glad to ask Dan to move it.
p.s. Do fake or non real money jackpot pictures count? Is it okay to claim other peoples jackpots as your own?
Who cares if you used his real name or not? I don't know if its him or not, but I think we are all assuming its ke6cdh. You will probably claim it's who you were talking about, but we will just think you are lying. Even if he told us he told you that, you would just claim some other AP told you the same thing.
Now tell me why you tried to out me concerning my private conversation with you? I believe I mentioned this before and you never responded to it then either. No need to make up some BS, just say you fucked up and say sorry.
Why don't you just admit you made the whole thing up? So far no one has posted a link, AxelPussy. Yes you trolled me and now your diverting attention to Rob's posts.
I never said it. There was no bet. You made the whole thing up.
You're a troll.
And you’re a deadbeat piece of shit Alan, but it’s nice to see you joining the party line.
Yea Axel is a troll, trolling on the shithole you created.
In the immortal words of Dice, Here’s to you Alan, sucking my dick.
And exactly what moron would make a bet with Alan knowing he is an addicted gambler, blowing any cash he gets his hands on and blowing anyone who will give him $20 to keep playing?
Rob Singer, congratulations on the really nice jackpot. When you return to play it again I hope you hit something good again.
I didnt make the entire thing up. I never said there was a bet, I said there was talk of a bet. I will post a link when I get around to looking it up. In the meantime, I'm glad to see you avoided responding to my other question.
Speaking of making shit up. Remember when you made up stories about your son hitting 5 royals in one day and still losing? Remember when you made up that story about 18 yo's in a row? Remember when you claimed to know 8/5 bonus poker almost perfectly?
You're right. It's funny as hell. Robocchio keeps trying to convince everyone he hit a 200K jackpot....and no one will believe him. Hilarious!!!! hahahahahahaha!!!! No one believes you because you are a proven liar, bet welsher, sockpuppeteer, and psychobabbler. Poor little Robocchio.
Thanks RS you proved it. I never said such rebates were "impossible" and in fact I asked for information where they were and I conceded that I would call the marketing department of the casino if I was given the name.
Which casino PR dept should I call in the morning? Axel mentioned Revel, and isn't that convenient? They're out of business.
But it wasn't the Revel... but a casino that opened around the same time, says Axel. So, my offer still stands. Name the casino and I'll call them.
But Axel wants me to do investigative reporting, it seems. He's not actually naming the casino. Sorry. I don't do investigations anymore. I'm a pitchman. Ask Kewlj.
And actually we're back where we were months ago. You APs claim that a casino offered these rebates but there is no proof and you still won't give the name for anyone to check on your claims.
Just going in circles. Thanks RS for keeping the circle alive.
https://youtu.be/M8FVHOJko4c
My friend owns and flies his own plane out of Long Island N.Y. I haven’t gone with him for some time now, but yesterday we hit the skies around 7am in route to A.C. A limo was waiting and took us to Borgata.
My friend is a heavy hitter (BJ) and well taken care of. (Along with any of his guests) They knew exactly who I was once being a preferred customer, but that past relationship was meaningless being with my friend.
I didn’t play one hand of video poker or play one slot machine. I sat along side him and played high limit BJ non stop for seven straight hours, except for one meal break and several piss breaks. He drank nothing but OJ and seltzer the whole time there. Comforting knowing he's the pilot.
When we broke for lunch, we both were getting our asses handed to us. After returning to the reserved table I started to get lucky. There was no consideration of cards being counted by me, since I only make two size bets the whole time, big or bigger.
My friend would always be checking the weather since we had to fly home, and wanted to leave by 5pm concerned about winds and possible rain developing.
When we pulled the plug, his bankroll was destroyed. I on the other hand without time to play the slivering cash out game, was forced to sign a few documents when cashing out.
KJ would be envious of my win.
KJ would be envious of what? That you won? Proves you don't know shit about KJ. Just have this weird obsession.
I am happy for most people that win. Most decent people.
Your story while cute and enjoyable has no similarities with what I do. I am a professional blackjack player, playing the game within the game that professional blackjack players are forced to play, tolerance and comfort levels and at times the cat and mouse game.
You and your friend are negative EV, high limit players. So what is your point? BTW, you weren't specific about numbers, so as to leave everyone guessing, but it sounds like your friend lost much more than you won, so I am sure even Borgata was pleased with your visit. You have posted yet another story of a casino making a lot of money off of the visit of 2 -EV players. Sounds like all involved were pleased with the outcome.
I guess the part I am supposed to be envious of is that you and your friend have the means to play higher limits that I do? Is that it? Is that the point of your story and mention of me that has no similarities beside your obsession?
I now choose to play the limits that I play for casino tolerance reasons. I have the bankroll to play much higher limits. And while, probably not nearly the limits you are speaking of, if I had some strange desire to play very high limits, higher than my bankroll can support, I could always participate in some sort of team play, pooling bankrolls, or I suspect I would have no trouble finding a backer who wanted to back any sort of very high limit play I wanted to engage in. Of course both those things would greatly diminish my long-term longevity plan.
So am not envious, have no reason to be envious, and if it were any other person, any decent person, would be very happy for you. And I see no similarities to what I do, nor any reason to mention my name other than you obvious continuing obsession with me.
Not sure what the obsession is with counts and amounts. One of my compadres pictured in the Retro Road Trip thread had the highest rating at Pechanga via blackjack. I think he had to pump through a million in some limited time -- I don't remember if it was a weekend or a week.
Alan is probably familiar enough with Pechanga to pin down the old million dollar rating time frame. I honestly don't remember what it was.
There's always somebody who bets more than you. That goes without saying. So I'm perplexed as to the moral of the story. Take me, for example. Am I envious of how much Billy Walters could whip back and forth on a game? Yeah, sure. But I suppose everybody would be envious of how much the Sheik could whip back and forth on a game. So the envy is all relative.
The skill is not.
Postscript: Well, I checked on the amounts he played. I was slightly off. LOL. Evidently it was two million in four hours. Yeah, that'll usually do it, one suspects. Allegedly, it's now considerably easier to get the status these days.
RS___ Below is what Axel posted. He did not name the casino that he says offered the big loss rebate. He mentioned only that it opened around the time of Revel. He specifically asks that I investigate.
You said he named the casino.
If you know the name of the casino just post it so I can call. Don't tell me he named it and then not give me the name because I'm not going to play cat and mouse games with you or anyone else.
Either you provide info to verify or you don't. Which is it?
Sorry redietz but I played very little at Pechanga and I have no knowledge of their rating system.
"It's all about quitting when ahead"
If that is true, why does the Tard continue to play? Oh yeah, because he is still behind.
Only a Tard could think continuing to do the same failing thing over and over will result in a different outcome. This forum is why short buses were invented.
You can lead a horse to water....but it’ll probably just drown.
Alan demands we post up information and when it does get posted, he still demands it because he is incapable of reading. It’d at least be somewhat understanding if he didn’t even quote the post where axel mentioned it. Alan’s going full on loony toons.
Alan M: just read your signature line. Besides that it is a gamblers fallacy. Is that what you did Alan, quit when you were ahead? After hitting 100k totals, did you quit? (The definition of quit is never to play again, otherwise it is only a pause)
Just read Reditz and Kewlj’s response to my little A.C. trip report.
KJ said in the past he makes about $300.00 dollars a day. What I meant by him/her being envious was he/she could have taken a few months off. Instead we had to get a 300-word essay bragging about his/her BJ professionalism.
Then you got the fucking Martian Reditz who gave a lecture on whale play. Although I didn’t mention how much I was betting, he had to put me in my place making sure I know about whales bringing up Billy Walters, and some guy who bets 2 million dollars in four hours. Imagine if I mentioned what I was betting? But these morons can’t resist or keep their stupidity to themselves.
Can’t make this shit up…
Or perhaps the more common meaning, from Merriam-Webster:
1) transitive verb (sense 1) Give up, as to "quit a job." or
2) transitive verb (sense 2) Give up, as "quit smoking."
Or perhaps from The Free Dictionary: "to cease or discontinue"
Note that no time frame is discussed.
Or perhaps from Led Zeppelin:
"I can't quit you, baby,
So I'm gonna put you down for awhile...."
which demonstrates that the quitting referred to in the lyrics is a permanent kind of thing. And finally, something coach will appreciate, from Brokeback Mountain:
"I wish I knew how to quit you." Again, referencing a permanent detachment, as opposed to "I wish I knew how to pause you."
My apologies, blackhole. I thought the line "KJ would be envious" was meant as some pissing contest reference of some kind. I apologize for interpreting that line that way, as I didn't know you and kewlJ were on friendly terms. My bad.
No lecture on whale play. I misinterpreted your trip report as some kind of dig at Kewlj. You know, the whole deal about what someone says first and last in a letter is probably what they want to emphasize and all that. Now that I know that you and KJ are on good terms, the trip report has a whole different meaning. My error.
I wouldn’t knock quitting while your ahead. Years ago there was a whole team of quitters while ahead that tried to hit the casinos in South Lake Tahoe. 10 to 20 of them would play at once, quit while they were ahead, and then leave with the money.
The mistake they made was Tahoe is too small so the word got around quick. The casinos phoned each other and said we have team of quitters while their ahead so they got barred from nearly every casino, although if I recall, I think one casino told them “your welcome to play here, but only under the condition that you must quit while you are behind.”
But yet you keep trying. Sure looks like the real idiot is you and your followers.

Coach belly: if you are going to play again, it makes zero difference if that next hand or spin is tomorrow, next week or next month. It ONLY matters if you are never going to play again. Otherwise it is simply a 'pause'.
Now we got this nitwit, fool, dummy, cretin, dunce, jerk, blockhead, bonehead, imbecile, ninny, pinhead, simpleton, numskull, ignoramus, moron, nincompoop, dumbbell, dimwit, dork, halfwit ... trying to make a clever comment.
It's amazing how these fools confirm everything I said. Yet, they don't even see it.
