But, there will be a better offer coming than that at some point. They are just jerking him around at this point. That offer might not come until a suit is filed or underway, but there will be a better offer than just getting his money back coming. Now how much it costs him in legal expenses to get that offer is another matter.
Once the casino accepts a wager...they have accepted the wager. If they don't want people putting in multiple wagers at the kiosks, those kiosks should be removed. But as long as it is there, if you put in a wager at the kiosk, and the kiosk takes your money and prints the slip, they have accepted the wager.
I hope the kid fights it all the way and wins. And maybe there is some punitive damages added on to boot.
And yeah, he could/should have been a lot smarter in the way he handled the whole thing.
And from a public relations point...big cost to the casinos. The story is on CBS news Chicago for God sakes. Probably has already cost the casinos what they are holding back from the kid. People see this story, do they really want to go bet at Ceasars that doesn't pay when you win?
People that run casinos now are dumb as a fucking rock. They don't consider anything except the immediate short term. Stupid fuckers!
They free rolled him too. Only cancelling the wagers AFTER he won.
Does anyone think they would have cancelled the wagers & offered him a refund if all the wagers had lost?
I don't know enough about the situation, to know if they totally free rolled him or not.
Possible but I think that is speculation at this point.
Casino don't like losing or players who exploit mistakes.
Casino get real funny when player crushing them.
A lot of players lost in court over things like this.
I know one guy, who figured out how to beat Let it Ride, with certain rules.
He eventually won in court, but it took a long fight.
Years ago I was playing 10 reel machines that was a high 99% payback.
Casino gave someone a promotion for 3% cash back no limit for 3 days.
The game was like 102% winner from the jump.
I played on that card for 70 hours.
Casino got mad but paid me.
Gave me a warning.
I got lucky.
These days, I've seen the Casino 86 players who are playing a losing game and playing it bad but player keep winning.
Casino don't want the action or high variance.
I think most of us, on this site, already know this.
Casino been like this for awhile now.
