There has been absolutely no benefit to me doing this, on the contrary sometimes harm, but others before me shared their experiences and knowledge so I have always tried to pay that forward.

But that is me and blackjack card counting. Nothing much new with card counting...maybe some little twist. But for the most part casinos know all about card counting, so no real harm (other than to myself) of me sharing my experiences.

Most other APs are doing things that the casinos either don't know about or are just starting to understand, so it is understandable that they don't want to talk about it on an open public forum. There are private forums and private messaging for that.

So the strategy discussions you refer to aren't going to occur for the most part. Anything discussed will be very general.

So that leaves a void. And that void seems to be filled with one or two people like Singer, maddawg or to a lesser degree Moses, who make claims that can't be, that deft math or reality or both.

(I hesitate to include Moses because his claims didnt defy the math, just the reality of how Reno works. Can't play decent stakes in Reno except very short bursts of a day or two. That is why no real professional players have been based out of Reno for decades.)

Anyway, other that calling out the complete frauds, whose math doesn't work, I guess there is nothing left but bickering among each other. :D. For some reason which I have never understood, there seems to be a lot of pissing contests...mine is bigger than yours. I have never cared about that. I compete against the casinos and my own goals, not against anyone else, AP or otherwise.

My main thing is to tell people what NOT to do, like betting parlays. The first time I mentioned what I've done for a living was after Rob.Singer went on a sports betting spiel where he gave really bad advice. I had posted 2500 times previously without mentioning what I do.

Yes but you never gave any information on how to get down for 5, 10 or 100k without changing the lines.
It's damn near impossible and suicidal for surviving.
A bettor can get down for massive amounts using the kiosks but the line changes after 800 to 1600 wagered depending on the shop.
I still say the 2 team parlay is the best weapon against them but you know... I'm poor.

I am an openly gay guy in my late 30's on a forum with mostly guys in their 60's and 70's. Hate to generalize because there are some decent guys that age, but, 60 and 70 year old men, are generally some of the most intolerant and bigoted people. That is just fact. They don't like people that look different than them, that worship different than them, that speak differently than them. They are uncomfortable with anybody that is different than they are. So they sure as hell can't understand people of the same gender who love one another. That is just beyond their capacity to accept and understand.

And that is precisely why there is so much hate directed at me. I mean, it certainly isn't because anything I have said pertaining to what I do, card counting. Every player, AP, recreational, degenerate gambler, should know, everything I say is fact. There is no dispute of anything. Counting two tables? Every blackjack team and many solo players employed some variation of this. Yet I say I do it when conditions are right, and the haters go berserk. :D That isn't about blackjack that is about hating me because I am different than them.


Now let me tell you about this person, Argentino, who posts as Rob Singer. He likes to post that he has me razzled, that he controls me. The truth is the opposite. This guy is obsessed with me, because of his bigotry and intolerance of anyone different than himself. He thinks about me day and night. Nearly every post mentions me. And his ever-escalating claims are because he just can't accept that someone different than he, who he has pledged his hate of can succeed at even the lowest level of advantage play where he failed. Drives him completely bonkers and that wasn't a very long drive. :rolleyes:

So he keeps coming up with these new, escalated claims trying to prove himself better. And each time he does, I just hand him the rope and wait for him to hang himself. Ok....maybe I give him a little nudge. :cool: I have lots of help from people like Maxpen and even Wizard, so I don't have to do much but nudge and wait.

And yes, Wizard (shackleford) knew exactly what he was doing in that interview that let to Singer coming unglued. Mike played nice asking gentle questions and letting Rob have his say for 20 mintues and then asked for some kind of proof or documentation backing up Rob's claim. Rob gave the usual excuse of having thrown away tax forms, but he couldn't help himself and tried to manufacture evident and presto: Newell gate! Maxpen exposed him beautifully, but Wizard set Singer up and really doesn't get enough credit for that, so I am giving it now.

Now do I get a little extra pleasure watching Singer hang himself time after time? YOU BET I DO! Like I said, I have dealt with his kind of homophobic bigotry my whole life. But to attack with lies someone's love one that had just passed, THAT I hasn't experienced. That was a new level of evil and hate for me. Not for Singer though as my partner was the fourth time he had shown that kind of hate.

Well, monet, if you want to get a significant amount down on something, you shouldn't be using a kiosk. If you're dealing with something like CET, you should be betting at whatever is considered the flagship sports book, and you should have previously introduced yourself to the manager and assistant manager. You should be betting at the highest volume window at the flagship sports book. For example, and I'm not sure this is correct since I haven't been to LV in two years, but Caesars Palace was the flagship for CET in the past. Similarly, for William Hill, the Plaza book was considered the flagship in LV. So to at least have a chance to bet more with the least line adjustments, you need to be betting in person with the assistant manager or manager of the flagship recognizing you and more or less giving you the thumbs up.

A two team parlay, unless under very specific and rare conditions, or if OPEN with a good liberal closing date, is not the way to go with anything.

Getting down for 100k will always be a problem. Getting down for 5K or 10K shouldn't be a problem for the major sports. CET does some weird shit -- they put the college football games in tiers, for example, with different limits for each tier, and they allow you to bet different amounts based on your card status. They generally won't say this outright, but when I interviewed some of their managers for an article, that's what I discovered. In other words, if you're a doofus who plays a ton of slots and has a high card status, they'll often allow you to bet more than a sports only guy, which is evil and discriminatory, but that was the way it was described to me.

My only gripes are that Kiosks = Good because no player tracking and they spit out tickets as fast as you push the buttons.

Dealing with Managers to make daily bets... Forget that... I'm not doing that lol.
Keep bets and wins under a certain amount and nobody cares.
Dribbling in winning tickets works in my experience.
Personally, I like to cash out at the cage after the book closes but that's just me.
Of course large ticket wins are large ticket wins and if I have those I don't care about anything... just pay me.
My favorite past time is to go into the SuperBook and make bets under certain amounts and cash them.
Fun because I'm 86'd from the property.

Monet, if you're betting parlays, nobody's going to do much data mining of you, so I wouldn't worry about staying under radar. Player tracking can always be buried by shooting for middles with big-ass wagers, if you know what you're doing. Are you saying you don't want to be tracked at all, so you use cash and are anonymous at the kiosks, or are you saying that you don't want to be tracked in terms of which teams you take?

You know, it's funny. If they're trying to data mine you, and you shoot for big middles, management is confronted with whether they should employ the counter-idea of ignoring your biggest wagers and only analyzing your smaller wagers, which on the face of it makes no sense at all, especially to suits.

I got a kick out of people assuming I was a low roller because I'd review buffets, coffee shops, and moderately priced casino rooms. Of course, these are the things Anthony Curtis and Dancer were also writing about. I actually learned useful things about slot programs and comps from Alan and how things worked. My first 15 years in LV, I relied on informal comp scrip for meals and such. When that started to die out, LVA and here were useful to me.

Now I don't bother to give detailed help unless someone specifically asks, like mickey crimm asked about how to do the sports book sign-up rebates on initial loss. I actually have a somewhat obvious strategy for Diamond in a Day that I have surprisingly never seen in print. If people were halfway civil, I would have shared it. But people can kiss my ass.
