Yes, I do. I have shared my journey, almost in real time, like I say "the good, the bad and the ugly", so that newer type, aspiring players, or even those only considering a life of card counting, might know what is really involved in making a living from card counting.

On the forums that I have been on, card counters are a fairly tight lipped bunch. If and when they talk about their journey, it is rather heavy on the success part. They conveniently leave out the weeks, even months long losing periods, the 29k losing weeks, which in fairness I hadn't experienced until a couple weeks ago. But even the 10k losing weeks....how often do you read about these losses from the card counters that we know on forums. They go heavy on the success, but skim over the rough parts.


On the old blackjackinfo, one of the members, Creeping Panther, accused me of doing some of that. he said I was painting a "rosey picture". I didn't think I was, but I have really tried to share my experiences and journey in it's entirety ever since. The winning and losing. The backoffs. I basically "lost" my first home-base location, Atlantic City. As everyone knows AC can't back off or bar players, but they made it so I couldn't play a winning game. That is how I even ended up in Vegas.

I have shared all aspects of my journey, winning and losing. Four (4) different 6 month losing periods and the emotions that I went through during them, especially the first one, that was new to me. On Wizards forum, I shared in great detail my 2014. Blackjack results 27 thousand dollars, compared to 87,000 accumulated EV or "expectation" or expected win. 27 grand! That's about what a fulltime fast food employee makes. It wasn't pleasant to share that.

But I wanted to share what being a card counter for a living really was. Not the movie "21" version. ;) And I do think I have helped some players and potential players. I think I have helped a few know what they can really expect. Helped them understand why we NEED a large bankroll to withstand the swings. And you know what, I think there have probably been a few that read my accounts and decided Screw that. Card counting is not for me. So yeah, I think I have helped some players, even helped some decide, CCing was not for them.

I'll be doing more and more writing as my life winds down, so kewlJ helped me. Prior to his posting here, I thought card counting in today's LV was pretty much a myth. I have never read or followed the Wizard's forum stuff, basically because I thought it's mostly pretend gamblers spouting for ego's sake. I spent about 90-100 days a year in LV for decades, during the heyday of blackjack (and video poker), so I've been around the block. I just thought the current rules had made it an impossible task these days.

Mickey opened my eyes to a whole other gambling world, also.

So just from an educational standpoint, even if 20% of what they post is true, I learned much.

Moses, card counting simplified is about getting to those high positive counts when the player has the advantage.

The "wonging" technique is about seeing and playing more of those favorable counts or increasing the frequency of the better counts and opportunities.

The team call-in approach is a form of wonging, allowing the big bettor to bet more of these better opportunities.

A solo player tracking a second table is basically a solo player using that same call-in approach. He is just playing both roles.

It is just a way of seeing/playing more good counts. But it only works with shoe games.

KJ. I've reviewed a hundred sims easily. The highest TCs offer a 52% win percentage at best. The average or entry level TC2 is usually very slim at 50.10% to 49.90%. It seems to me you are playing with a slim margin of expectation from the start. Then you have to play all those damn hands just to get to that point. I understand you're allowed a larger bet spread in shoes. But damn, the ups and downs would drive me buggy.

Are you sure you wouldn't be better off in the sportsbook? At least you get to chose the games you want.

I created this forum for the 240,000 viewers of my TV show and the 9,000 people who came to my website. But it was the Vegas section that flourished and then got out of control with insults, libel and claims I wanted nothing to do with.

Im here only to point out for the benefit of those people looking for honest information. Frankly someone has to question the claims such as never having a losing month since 2007, and card counting without casinos challenges. Yes I've challenged Rob's tax claims too.
