KJ reminds me of a guy trying to convince another guy, on a street corner, today, that he knows Prince William, but, got into a fight with Prince Harry.
Of course, it's possible, but as unlikely that it wouldn't be wrong to "bet the farm" against it. I guess that a few persons can't accept being wrong about even that sort of stuff, and, so, they go along with it under the guise that it could be true. But, as they say in poker, you'd just have to pay it off.

As for the coding and stuff like that. I don't know about that stuff. But I am shocked at some of the different electronic games that hit the floor with these kinds of errors or glitches overlooked? Is there nobody checking these things before they hit the floor? I mean what happened to good old "quality control"? Or are they just in such a hurry to get these different games to the floor?
And let's get something else straight here. I read what people post or claim, and in a relatively short time and able to KNOW if that person knows what they are talking about, or if they are just talking. I assumed that is how everyone operates.
But on this forum, it doesn't. There can be no half intelligent player, that would read what I know and write about what I do, and conclude that I don't know what I am talking about (in my specific arena). And yet some do. They come up with nonsense about, reading and regurgitating. And you people that do that, do so because of a bias. You just can't bring yourselves to admit that I know what the fuck I am doing (again in my arena) and talking about. And anyone that says differently is lying. Perhaps to themselves. Perhaps some of you don't even see your bias.

I'm still stuck on there supposedly being only 28 of these "newer" type machines around the country from a major manufacturer, and kew said he somehow got a list of their locations spread out from coast to coast.
First, how and by whom were these locations provided, why would you think this info may not be accurate, and who has this database? And why are there just 4 machines in the country's most casino-heavy location?
I'm a bit skeptical that "one of the industry's big manufacturers" would bother with providing and placing just 28 of these machines in various popular gaming locations throughout the country. Makes no business sense whatsoever. And if the play is dead, why aren't others anywhere that you claimed were teaming up on all the machines, talking about it? Only kew.
My guess is you're so jealous that I found and was able to play the DU glitch that you just HAD to come up with one of your "I found and played a glitch" tales that you think makes you appear to be relevant after the mugging you've endured that your bevy of lies brought upon yourself.

When I don't know how long a play will last I don't want to tie my time up making calculations. Best to just rough it. Roughly 10% of the hands can be doubled. You double because those hands have the edge against the dealer. So having the additional option to take a second card is huge.Quote:

More important concern is does blackjack pay 3/2, 6/5 or even money. If it's 3/2, single deck with a few more good rules one is very close to 100%. Having the option to take another card after doubling definitely tilts the advantage to the player probably by at least a few points.
A few percent advantage at blackjack is huge, huge, huge, for a game with a variance of 2. Payday everyday.
Wish I knew what parts of the country this machine might still exist.

If I recall from the Double Up Bug (and I may be misremembering) I think the first thing IGT did was send a memo to casinos to disable the double up feature?
But I also seem to recall that because their machines were so widespread that several years afterwards machines w the bug could still be found in some of the more offbeat locations.
