I just realized that for a high ranking business executive with a Master’s degree in an expensive state like Florida, $125,000 per year would be pretty significantly underpaid.

Of course it would depend on the actual business & position, but still.

Well a least you avoided a common problem in your fictional marriage that sometimes happens in real marriages.

When both spouses are highly paid it’s not uncommon (particularly if the lower paid spouse is the male) for one of the spouses to become resentful if the other spouse makes more money.

You eliminated that issue so kudos for that!
