The nearest casino in 1985 would have been Detroit and that's two and a half hours from here. Spike/evenbob, in 1985 I was a toddler in my playpen. The conversation I am speaking of occurred 8-9 years ago, when I joined WOV. If you were talking about something that occurred 30 years prior, you didn't make that clear.

Dude, seriously.... Don't think small. Being able to guess randomness with an 80% hit rate goes way beyond any AP. Not even NASA, the government, scientists, mathematicians, hackers, mega computers, or the smartest people in the world can't boast of more than a 50% hit rate on random events. Perhaps someone can claim a coin flip or some situation is actully weighted and they can get slightly over a 50/50.

Being able to use educated guesses to "predict" random outcomes with an 80% hit rate is world-changing technology, it would change everything we know.

Bob claims time is the most precious thing in the world, so let's give more precious time to him.

let's assume 1k per month, and let's assume he will live 20 years. If he can prove what he claims, I can guarantee at least 240k in cash, royalties, or a percentage. He could still play his roulette and make interest on that 240k. TBH if he could prove his claims and how he does it, it would probably be worth billions. If Bob can't handle the excess amount of money, just take what he needs or set up a trust. I'm sure he could feed all the starving cats in the world problem.
Bob may only know how to use it for gambling, but I can guarantee you that if it was legit, people would pay 100's of millions for this ability.

He seems to be self-aware enough to know he can't handle too much money, therefore you would think he would be able to find ways to avoid those difficulties in advance.

I can't even imagine the total implications of being able to guess randomness with an 80% hit rate, I'm sure someone with an above-subpar math ability(such as Even Bob's) using more than pens and notebooks such as advanced level Science and Mathematics along with advanced computer technology could get that 80% hit rate to a far higher hit rate. We are talking about solving randomness. I'm sure it's far above our imagination.
If they can get a guy to the Moon with so very little computing power, just imagine what someone could do with the ability to guess randomness with a minimum of an 80% hit rate while adding it to modern computer technology.

I have a feeling Bob is single-handedly holding us back from becoming a class one or two civilization.
