Sorry to come back to this BoSox. Someone just emailed me this point and I thought I would pass it along.

I live in the city that has the largest number of casinos in the world. Without counting, probably 100 casinos of various sizes with blackjack tables. Not all playable conditions of course. So I usually have 30+ casinos in my rotation at any given time. Some I only play twice a month, some 2-3 times a week, depending on size of casino and number of pits and tables. All of them I play for short session.

BoSox, who for reasons only known to himself, has seemed to have it out for me for several months now, trying to discredit me whenever he can. That is fine. Welcome to the club BoSox. ;)

So here's the question: BoSox can't "comprehend" how I can play a rotation of 30+ casinos, for short sessions, and achieve longevity for 15 years now.

BUT at in the same breath BoSox seems to have no problem accepting that Moses who BoSox has now aligned himself with, claims to play Reno and the very small handful of playable games, none which will allow for much play above green, for 30 years now. No bias their Bosox. Good comprehension on your part. That old noodle of yours is still going pretty strong. :rolleyes:

Alan is the one that re-ignited this discussion over at WoV. And apparently it is going to lead to an interview between Wizard and Rob, so the topic becomes relevant again. I personally don't think Alans reasons were all that honorable. I believe it is more about him trying to hurt Rob, because of things Rob said about Alan, rather than get to the truth as he claims.

BUt regardless of his intent, Alan has raised a great point. Since Rob claims to have destroyed all tax and casino documentation, why can't he show as supporting evidence what he spent the money on. It is Rob's claim that he spent 1.5 million of DU bug money on an RV. Nobody made that up. That is his claim. Is it really unreasonable to expect to see something supporting this extraordinary claim?

Seriously, let me ask you that again, because you seem like a reasonable members here. I don't agree with some, probably even most of your positions, but you seem reasonable to me, so is it unreasonable to expect some sort of supporting evidence for a claim of this magnitude? Nice try BoSox. Redietz has never ever, not once emailed me. If and when I communicate privately with Redietz, it is by PM here, and that really isn't very often. Additionally, I don't ever recall redeitz and I ever having much conversation about blackjack. That is not his thing. 1. Because it is easy to create a bill of sale form and post it. Nobody who understands that would ever mention it unless and until one were to be presented. With you, THAT is guaranteed.

2. Because even if it were a bona fide, court approved, presidentially supported and signed document, an internet hack like you would IMMEDIATELY go back on his word and claim it doesn't prove anything because "he could have used other money" to purchase it.

Dannyj, you make a good point I haven’t thought about before. Stalkers are born from something trivial that grows into something bigger for no reason other than someone becomes obsessed with it, kind of like Kj is doing now.

Forums are to learn, to debate and for fun...and of course to troll! I know sometimes when I get too wrapped up in some argument, my best course of action is just to back off, and take a break. I mean what does it really matter.

I’m thinking MidWest Player has the best approach to forum life. He just throws out bombs here and there and moves on. He never answers anybody, so he never gets wrapped up in any controversy.

So true story. South Point Casino. For those not familiar South Point is very sweaty when it comes to card counters. And their security a bit over-zealous. Their Blackjack conditions aren't even very good, penetration below average. Sometimes I think I only play there to fuck with them.

So one day a couple years ago, I was drawing heat at the table and decides to exit. I headed for the door without cashing out as I often do. I sort of passed one security dude that seemed to have an interest in me, but I kept going. I reached the door, just a little bit north of the main front door area. My partner was sitting in the car nearby and I jumped in. We were driving a Prius at the time as I was into my save the earth phase.

So we are trying to exit the property heading south right by the main front door, towards whatever those times shares are just south of Southpoint and we sort of got hung up in the congestion near the front door. There are several speed bumps and people picking up and dropping off. There is a South Point shuttle that goes some where? And a public transportation bus all in that congested area, so we weren't going anywhere fast. As I looked in the passenger mirror, I could see a security guard on a Segway approaching. He seemed to have an interest in us. For those that don't know South Point uses license plate reader technology. They probably already had our license plate, but I am yelling at my partner to go and we were having trouble out-running the Segway. ;)

This is actually one of two odd incidents with South Point security in the parking lot. The other involved a bicycle security dude. They really are quite over zealous, that South Point bunch.

Forums are to learn, to debate and for fun...and of course to troll! I know sometimes when I get too wrapped up in some argument, my best course of action is just to back off, and take a break. I mean what does it really matter.

Sorry to come back to this BoSox. Someone just emailed me this point and I thought I would pass it along.

I live in the city that has the largest number of casinos in the world. Without counting, probably 100 casinos of various sizes with blackjack tables. Not all playable conditions of course. So I usually have 30+ casinos in my rotation at any given time. Some I only play twice a month, some 2-3 times a week, depending on size of casino and number of pits and tables. All of them I play for short session.

BoSox, who for reasons only known to himself, has seemed to have it out for me for several months now, trying to discredit me whenever he can. That is fine. Welcome to the club BoSox. ;)

So here's the question: BoSox can't "comprehend" how I can play a rotation of 30+ casinos, for short sessions, and achieve longevity for 15 years now.

BUT at in the same breath BoSox seems to have no problem accepting that Moses who BoSox has now aligned himself with, claims to play Reno and the very small handful of playable games, none which will allow for much play above green, for 30 years now. I have never broached anything about blackjack with kewlJ. As to the mickeycrimm PM, I PM'ed him, coach, maxPen, kewlJ, and AndrewG all together regarding what I know about the search sites, since my brother-in-law is a PI. That was it. Mickey responded in a PM explaining how I was a troll. I responded simply with my opinion regarding his credibility.

No secrecy involved. I mean, really, BoSox, why would you come to the conclusion that kewlJ was discussing blackjack with me? That's such a bizarre evidence-less thing to say. All of the posts this morning regarding what those sites allow and do not was probably the result of my PM to the five people involved. I was saving them some wheel-spinning, as the sites do not want to be liable for errors, so they disavow their responsibility for the information they sell to you. The info, by the way, is taken from government sources obviously, and is accurate 99.9% of the time. But they don't want to be liable for the .1%

Unfortunately, Alan thinks I'm attacking him, I can see how it might seem that way but that's certainly not my intentions. I really just want to know what's going on in the mind of people who believe/consider nonsense strategies and systems. It's just mind-boggling that anyone can believe or consider this type of stuff as a being legitimate. Because, it's just so mind-boggling, I would have to believe there was some type of motivation. I'm not just talking Financial motivation sincere a lot of things that motivate people. Because she said something about wanting to chase a good story. It just seems like there are so many other good stories to chase that actually have Merit and proof.

I guess I was hoping Alan would have a come-to-Jesus moment and tell us that he has finally come to the realization that only one way to beat casinos, and that's if the math adds up and you play the correct strategy.... I would really like it if Alan were to embrace a bit of advantage play / winning type strategy based on math. I mean if he enjoys casino play, why not win a little or at least break even and give yourself a chance to win (longterm)?

You know my late partner was a -EV casino player when I met him. -EV video poker just like Alan and Rob, and even some slots :eek: That was back in Pa. It wasn't until he followed me to Vegas and wanted to be part of what I was doing that I got him to give some of that up and move towards advantage play. And I am not sure he ever fully embraced only advantage play. He gave up slots completely and he handled our VP machine play when I was doing that and did pretty good. But I think occasionally he slipped in a little extra -EV play, when doing play though or playing a certain amount to generate mailers. Some times the numbers were a little lower than I was expecting. So I can't say he flipped to 100% AP, but he did pretty good making a transformation from -EV player to +EV player. So it can be done. I just don't get why anyone that spends like in casinos, wouldn't give themselves the best chance to win (longterm)? But that's me. :confused:

hell, I don't even know why I care if people play systems and believe in stupid s***. I mean overall it's beneficial to me cuz it helps keep the casinos in business, and there's less competition. I encourage people to read Axel's post especially the post at the top of page 6 of the Singer discussion at WoV, where he shares his feelings about both Singer's 'system' and Singer's DU claim and why he tried to act objective initially with the latter. The two claims are connected because they always come back to Singer's credibility. Kudos to Axelwolf. The following couple of follow up exchanges with Alan are notable as well. I mean Alan doesn't get a pass for his current position of "wanting to set the truth straight" after years of playing the role of Singer prime enabler on this forum, providing whatever platform Alan has to promote Singer on both his website and through his videos. Kudos for Alan now coming clean but that doesn't give him a free pass and I like that Axelwolf is still holding him accountable.

Unfortunately here, others have just stepped forward to fill the void Alan left of enabler. This guy Singer can't do what he has done for 20 years without someone playing the role of side kick.

One thing Redietz is correct about is that any sense of normalcy on this forum is long gone. This has become a conspiracy theory forum for any discussion, from politics, to Covid-19 coronavirus, to Rob's claim to what little gambling discussion there is. People have formed alliances and cliques based in large part on their political views and those alliances now carry forward to every discussion. This is precisely was I objected to airing political views here. This isn't a political forum. We shouldn't even know political views of different members. Once you head down that road, you end up with what you have here and that is anything but a forum about talk of Vegas, Casinos and gambling. Dan has proven anything for a few more views and little bit more traffic.

Unfortunately, Alan thinks I'm attacking him, I can see how it might seem that way but that's certainly not my intentions. I really just want to know what's going on in the mind of people who believe/consider nonsense strategies and systems. It's just mind-boggling that anyone can believe or consider this type of stuff as a being legitimate. Because, it's just so mind-boggling, I would have to believe there was some type of motivation. axel you should know by now that it's futile to expect anything of Alan other than a long argument. Look at how he operates here as a sock vs. at WoV as the prime attention seeker. He started that thread over there by posting a few lies along with some provocative information, and he did so right after he saw me joining in with the crowd and criticizing him here. So he uses the theme that he is a bad reporter because he should've asked for some kind of proof from me, when it was always him who was chasing me around to put things about RS on his site. He also would have never started that thread if he wasn't angry with me. It will get him nowhere. He truly is his own worst enemy.

And has anybody in gaming ever supplied hard (not theoretical, which means nothing) proof of their claims, anywhere? Right here people are mocking kew for always having said one thing, then claiming he's exempt. The point is, there is no documentation that will ever suffice. Critics will simply keep unpeeling the onion until they can claim "see, I told you so!" Tax forms really mean squat. How many gamblers file a spot-on accurate return that doesn't mitigate winning with createful losses anyway? Are you telling me gamblers LIKE getting taxed on winnings in this country? And I understand the concept of showing big ticket item receipts, but those requests only eminate from little gamblers who have zero concept of how normal career type people have other methods of funding such purchases also. No amount of disclosure or fist-pounding will ever prove a thing to satisfy a hateful, JEALOUS critic.

Finally, I understand the fascination with my play strategy being able to win, but if you are SO sure it didn't, then that opinion tells me you really do not believe in the math of gambling probability. Sure, if 100,1% games were played then over time we'd see a small profit on paper, and at 99.9% we'd see a small loss. But transfer that effort to real casino play and on the +EV games you MORE THAN LIKELY will see a win, and on the -EV games you MORE THAN LIKELY will see a loss. We should agree on that.

However, what is missing here is the rest of the equation. Is there a possibility that over time, the +EV games will produce a loss or the -EV games will produce a win? The math I studied in college says yes to both.

So I developed a strategy that gives the unlikely a better chance of occuring, and that's all it is. I didn't rewrite books or defy theory. When I started out I wasn't sure what would happen and I was prepared for that. But the 200 sessions I played were a nice sort of surprise. An 85% session win rate? Where else do you find that in vp? But I could only guarantee to students and others that playing my strategy or variants thereof depending on a player's comfort level, would give them a better opportunity of winning.

So stating that my strategy is crazy or voodoo etc. is completely shortsighted. The math says negative games SHOULD lose, not WILL lose. My play strategy simply tells me it will lose less frequently. On paper, math is absolute. In casino gaming, it is not.

Yes, please change my position on WoV from "convinced" to "highly likely." And if you want to you can add my opinion is based on at least a few facts:

1. Rob's overall knowledge of the play, something that no one else on the internet has come close to matching.

2. The fact he knew the published sequence of events to get the machine to double up was wrong, and he published what he called the correct sequence of events. And after that fact KJ confirmed with the author of the Kane & Nestor story that the sequence was intentionally altered. No one has credibly disputed Rob's published sequence.

3. That Rob publicly "retired" from professional video poker play in 2009 a few months after Kane & Nestor got busted. Rob didn't quit playing video poker. What he did was quit filing schedule C on his income tax. He still played some over the years but basically made himself scarce in the casinos which is exactly what I would have done if I were waiting out the statute of limitations. Also, Rob never brought up the fact that he retired in 2009. It's because I've been following him so long that I remembered that about him and brought it up here. I'm the one that put it out there that Rob retired shortly after Kane & Nestor got busted. I thought, and still do, that it was more than coincidence.

4. Rob put this story out there knowing full well that if anyone else taught him the play then his story could easily be publicly shot down. I would not lie about something like this if I was fearful that someone could come forward and easily shoot my story down. It would be a tremendously stupid move and very embarrassing if caught. I think it has been over a year now and no one has come forward. I even put out a reward of $1000 for any good information anyone could provide that someone else knew the play before Rob.

I think it is highly likely Rob put the play down. But I am not 100% convinced . Only Rob knows 100% whether he did or not.

You appear to be intentionally fucking with the timeline to create doubt. The first Wired article came out in 2011. The same article with updates about the court proceeding was out again in 2013 or 2014. Did you contact Axelwolf in 2011? 2013? 2014? No you contacted him much later, 5 years later maybe? So there is a 5-8 year gap that you at some point discovered or found the correct sequence and tried to used that as credibility. I don't know exactly how. You have owned and had access to these machines at various times in your life. If you had access to a machine it wouldn't take long to figure out the sequence for someone trying to figure out the sequence. It's not like stumbling onto something that you weren't looking for. If you knew there was a sequence, it wouldn't take long.

If you didn't own or have access to a machine in that 5 to 8 year gap, maybe you were able to locate a machine or two in a casino that hadn't had the fix and figured out the sequence that way. You have talked about visiting some smaller out of the way type casinos before. These are just the kind of place one might find a machine that hadn't been fixed or updated.

These are just two of the possibility of finding the correct sequence or information not generally publicly known after the fact. There are other possibilities. No one is disputing that you are a long-term gambler. Long-term (losing) gamblers have friends and acquaintances that are other longterm gamblers just as AP's have friends and acquaintances that are other AP's. So maybe you have a friend or acquaintance that knew something or even a friend or acquaintance that knew someone that knew something or even knew one of these guys.

You also tell us of this career you had in and out of government. Maybe you just happened to know someone linked to the case or investigation. Or had a family member or friend that did.

I am speculating, raising possibilities, but there are just numerous ways you could have come into the information after the fact. The fact that you knew of some information or the correct sequence 10 years after this play was busted just does not mean you knew about it back in 2009 and played this play for 5 years and 2.8 million dollars.

But we have been over all this. The one thing you are correct about is we are not going to get to the bottom of this because you (Rob) don't want to get to the bottom of this. I see you are pulling out of the interview with Mike now. THAT was to be expected. Anyway, I have had some fun rehashing this again and filling some down time, but absolutely nothing has or is going to change. Answer: Rob seeks attention. Everything he does and says is about generating attention that he craves. He needs much more that that. He needs the attention good or bad. He wants discussion to revolve around and be about him. I think most people just don`t give a shit one way or the other....whether it`s true or not really makes no effect on anyone`s life. What he did was quit filing schedule C on his income tax. He still played some over the years but basically made himself scarce in the casinos which is exactly what I would have done if I were waiting out the statute of limitations. Also, Rob never brought up the fact that he retired in 2009. It's because I've been following him so long that I remembered that about him and brought it up here. I'm the one that put it out there that Rob retired shortly after Kane & Nestor got busted. I thought, and still do, that it was more than coincidence.

4. Rob put this story out there knowing full well that if anyone else taught him the play then his story could easily be publicly shot down. Redietz is a COWARD and a whack job. He responded to my post above not on VCT where I originally made this post but on WoV where he knew I wouldn't be able to respond to it in front of the readers there. It was a shameful move but a good move by him because unfortunately for him his arguments are pure hogwash. To my first reason Redietz said in Rob's article on the Best Buys site there wasn't any detail or evidence. Sure, but here redietz is misleading the reader. Rob went into great detail in several posts on the subject. He published a different sequence than the Wired article. He advised everyone of the make and models involved. Went into great detail on the bill acceptors. Those posts are in the archives here. I CURRENTLY don't know where to look for them but THEY ARE DAMN SURE THERE. And a lot of people here will remember them. Maybe someone can job my memory.

Redietz keeps on with this thing about Rob working for others on the play. This is where redietz is just asshole ignorant on machine plays. He lives in the sportsbetting world where it takes substantial money to make any decent money. He doesn't know about machine plays that can be so easy it takes hardly any money at all. The DUB play is one of those plays. You got a hundred dollar bill? You are good to go. it can be pulled of with just $100. But let's say Rob didn't do it that way. Let's say he played quarters straight up until he had a DU hand. How much money do you think that takes? If you got a grand in your pocket you will never go broke. With a chump change bankroll and an abundance of machines available there would be absolutely no reason to work for someone else. Correct. And it had nothing to do with gaming. Look it up if you want details. It also was before Joe Biden and his corrupt friends in the banking industry got the bankruptcy laws changed to hurt filers and help banks. But in 1996, all filing did was increase our assets by eliminating debt. It was yet another advantage play in life.

This is why I think it is highly unlikely Rob found it or exploited it. It’s based on how he said he found it. His explanation just didn’t add up in my book. If it did in yours, I’m okay with that.

The key is just don’t get greedy, even with how much you move up in denomination to win your jackpot. Kane and Nester were moving it up from $1 to $10 and staying at a machine to claim multiple large jackpots in an evening. It’s easy to see why they didn’t last long.

At this point what you are pointing out is just another hole in the block of swiss cheese regarding this matter and Singer's life tales of fiction.

Bob, it's a debate as to whether you're taking your marching orders from kew or not.

First of all, the machine I found it on had the DU option enabled--as many machines did back then and some do today. I never "asked for" it to be enabled.

Next, because the DU was enabled, that made my searching for anything that could be exploited a bit easier. In my career, I've had teams of software engineers (they program code) work on my programs. I quickly learned these people loved to program in their "signatures", detectable only thru a back door. In other words, it's nearly impossible to find. That's what I believe I discovered--an IGT personal signature hiding deep inside the program. It was too complicated and too deeply hidden to simply be an error. When you know what to look for and how to look for it, it only took me 4 years. All it then took was me asking myself "when is a hand over but not REALLY over? In DU mode of course.

And it looks like maxpen has been just anothe victim of Machine Gun Singer.

Yes, it's my 71st bday. I had a complete physical 2 weeks ago and went in to get handed my results in a drive-by at the Doctor's office. I laugh at this libtard nonsense. Anyway, I DID NOT see this coming. I always saw 71 as being a decrepit old man with all grey hair and sporting an oxygen tank.

My weight is within 2 lbs. of what it was when I was 39. Bob between hands the bill acceptor light is on telling you that you can put money in the machine. In the middle of the hand the bill acceptor light is off telling you that you can't put money in the machine. Rob noticed that when you hit the button to activate the double up the bill acceptor light came on even though you are still in the middle of the hand. That was the starting point to finding the bug.
