I was looking over the Flyers a bit.
They've lost 7 of their last 8.
All 7 games were lost by 2 goals or more!
Kind of hard not to bet on the Capitals at Home with the Puck Line.

I have a rant, monet. Did you see the first half dozen possessions for Arkansas when Kansas went zone? Holy fuck, I never saw a team IQ drop so quickly. Kids don't have any idea how to play against a zone anymore. It was horrendous.
But the Hogs managed to win, which keeps my 89-1 to win that region alive. I already lost Louisville at 20-1 to win their region earlier.
Don't even ask who my other Godforsaken squads are -- well, I have UNC at 250-1 to win the whole shebang. They're awful, but if they win two more games, I'll make money on them. The only problem is they aren't going to win two more games. LOL.
I have Kentucky at 70-1 to win it all. They don't even know what "boxing out" is, but they beat Tennessee twice this year, so they have a shot in that region.
Marquette at 197-1 rounds out my Bad News Bears longshot lineup. Ugly stuff, man. Ugly.
But I have just Vic and Anthony's dinner money on each, so I won't take much of a beating.

I entered just two bracket contests this year. Heritage, it turned out, wouldn't allow me in their contest. Such is life. Anyway, I'm 30th at this moment in the YouWager bracket contest out of about 550. We'll see how that goes. I have Duke winning it, but the ACC looks terrible, so don't think that will happen. I'm also in Oddsmaker, but have not seen standings for that yet.
KewlJ(s) are probably in both those same contests, so will be interesting to see where he finishes.

Dropped to tied for 50th out of 550 in the YouWager contest. Many Big 10 fans; did not know that.
Basically it comes down to Kentucky today versus Illinois. If Kentucky wins, I make money on the overall endeavor. If they do not, I don't unless some miracle occurs. Kentucky is a small underdog. Very unlikely to have an overall outcome outside of plus/minus 1K either way. Likely outcome is in the plus/minus $300 to $400 range.
And as someone who played and coached a little hoops, I hate the way Kentucky plays, but that's besides the point.
Kentucky won, so Daniel Day Lewis is out of luck. There will be no blood.
Heading into the night games, tied for 21st in YouWager's bracket contest. To win it, I need Duke to win the whole shebang, and I probably also need Kentucky to beat Tennessee next week. Not too sure how likely those events are, but at least I can say that I have a chance.

I feel badly for the eight seeds that got screwed with their seedings. Louisville and UConn deserved better fates. Gonzaga really got screwed with their eight seed. Just terrible.
