How do you disinfect cards, chips, dice, every time a player comes in contact with them? For Blackjack that would be after every hand?
The player already doesn't touch the cards in shoe blackjack games. I wonder if they are going to make it so the player doesn't touch the chips either? Maybe something like you buy in for $500, the dealer pushes a stack of 20 $25 chips in front of you, but you are not allowed to touch them. Instead you have to tell the dealer how much you want to bet and the dealer places the chips in the betting circle, thus the player never touches the chips. That would slow the game to a crawl. :(
