That isn't anywhere near true. High intelligence really is a blessing in many ways but can also be a curse. Really smart people tend to not be as happy and have depression issues. Retards seem to tend to lie to themselves throughout their lives about whatever. Or maybe don't see the truth to begin with?
Top of AP world should be no different. People are never going to talk about really good plays anyway but the smartest amongst us will tend to have insight but who knows if they even post. I have a pretty high IQ but I'm also so incredibly undisciplined nothing useful has ever become of it. shrug

I don't know what your sales background is and it could well be more years than mine, or that could just be in your experience, but mine is that trust isn't really relevant. As Rob has maybe pointed out, I think a lot of it depends on the sort of sales you do. In my case, I really couldn't do a great job feigning interest in the small talk with in-person sales (furniture) because my body language or facial expressions would betray my boredom. Again, telemarketing is just voice control, but another aspect of telemarketing that I think would help those with high IQ is that it helps a ton to know everything there is to know about the credit card or the credit card product so that you can answer any question the contact asks instantly. Being able to answer the questions instantly projects confidence, which people respect and also lets people know that you know what you're selling.Quote:

Oh, time as an illusion is sort of a Hamiltonian view of physics, with, I guess, energy, itself, playing second fiddle to momentum. It took several days and my attorney getting involved to get that information XXXed out. But it has since been repeated on other forums, by Moses and Mdawg and Pm's sent around the community. So one more thing about that forum, true passages that Mdawg posts at. He is the only person posting in the gambling section and has created a thread for every person who has ever challenged his claims including members here. I happen to believe Mdawg owns or is associated with that forum. It is out of southern California and is a forum about writing and stories and that is what he does.
Ok, continuing to move on, unrelated last fall I was backed of play in another city that resulted in a new entry in one of the big databases. That happens. Part of the job. I have had a small number of entries over the years. You take a little break, waiting for fresher entries to bump you from the front page or screen because that is all most pit folks look at. My entries have never had ANY information with them. Not even a AKA (also know as). That wasn't by accident.
So late last week, my pit friend informed me that my last entry from last fall had been updated with personal information, my name, address, age, and bumped back to the front page. That very information from this doxxing. I haven't even played in 6 weeks.
Now my proof that it was Mdawg that doxxed me on what I beleive is HIS true passages forum, using a sock puppet: Early last summer, when Mdawg announced he was looking for a residence in LV, I forget what he said but it seemed like he was interested in a high end, high rise condo close to the strip. (he later claims to have bought a mansion which he now never mentions, nor has moved into). So anyway, back then, we weren't on the bad terms we are now, so I Pmed him, suggesting he might want to look into Panorama Towers and The Martin on Dean Martin drive behind the strip. They once were the same complex but split and the Martin in particular has some high end units going for millions.
He asked if that is where I lived and I denied it, but I am sure at that point he investigated (public information) and found the unit owned by two males (my brother and I) and got all the information he needed that which he later used to dox me. The description of the unit is the big tell that this is where that info came from and it was him.
Now I know some people (mission) will say I doxxed him. I disagree. He isn't an AP. He doesn't play unrated or hide his play from casinos, as a matter of fact quite the contrary. He wants them to know every bet he makes so he gets credit and claims they welcome him and tell him he is the greatest. So he in no way is hiding from the casinos. So the ONLY reason he is not using a real name on forums, is so that members of the forums can't look and discover that all his claims are BS. He isn't hiding from the casinos, he is hiding from forum members who may discover the truth.
So while, yes I put his name out there (and his on line Law School which seems to be the thing that really embarrasses him) that harms him in no way, other than maybe his ability to keep posting these phony claims. It doesn't hurt him financially unless it hurts some future book deal. That is far different than doxxing an AP who depends on anonymity to be able to play and earn a living. And frankly anyone on gambling forums, I don't care if you are an AP or not, or professional, serious or recreational player, doxxing a fulltime AP that makes a living off casinos is a line that can not be crossed and should not be tolerated on any gambling related forum.
Now while I know where this new information to my database entry came from, did it really just get updated now, from a doxxing 6 weeks or 2 months ago, or did Mdawg now send the info to the database company. I don't have proof of that but it is highly likely since he didn't cause the damage he wanted from the doxxing, he took the next step.
So that brings up up to this weekend. Upon learning of this new developement, I tried to do something. I knew few would really believe my little flip flop, but I thought it might create just enough doubt or confusion, not on the forums but more so with the database people to at least muddy the waters. But that is not going to happen now, with all this discussion. I am screwed. I don't know if it is a fatal blow to my career, or something a little (probably a lot) of time can heal. But for the 3rd time now posting on forums has put me and my career at risk. This time, I was actually just trying to be a nice guy and advise Mdawg of a place that fit what he was looking for and might be interested in.
All the trolling is one thing, somewhat fun and entertaining, but this is just bullshit that someone would stoop to this level to harm someone just because they don't believe and have challenged their bullshit story and claims. I am now left to figure out if I can play anymore or need to move. You are a fucking low life Mdawg and I hope you get what is coming to you.

Interesting development over at WoV. Alan is STILL trying to disprove the tracking a second table technique. :cool:
I refer you to page 244 of the Mdawg fantasy thread. First post shows multiple pictures of tables. The first picture is an example of conditions not allowing for this opportunity. Something I have always said (when conditions are right), but has always been omitted by Alan and other that argue.
So the second picture is a case where the conditions are right. The Lady in the hat (I think it is a lady right?), seated in the middle seat would have a clear view of the playing surface of the table to her right. Conditions would be right. Now if either one of two things occurred, which would be someone sitting in seat 4 of the table to the right which is currently vacant, or someone sitting between the lady with the hat and the man in the blue shirt, then the view could be blocked and conditions not right for tracking a second table. But as it is, conditions are right for tracking the next table. Thanks to Mdawg for the picture.
Now if you scroll down further on that same page, Mdawg has posted the layout from the Circa high limit room, which is only open during select times. This is a smaller square type configuration. You can plainly see that if a player was sitting middle seat at the double deck table he would have a clear view to the shoe table regardless of any other players. This configuration would actually be ideal because there can be no blocking players, as well as the player is already looking directly in that direction.
However, I don't play much high limit rooms as they are generally too hawked. There is also talk of tracking a second table that is a double deck game, something I don't do, as by the time you tracked a couple rounds and "jumped", the dealer would be shuffling. I have no idea where this talk of using this technique on a double deck game came from, certainly not me. This is a shoe game technique only to assure enough rounds remaining to be played to make the play worthwhile.
Now Mdawgs response to Alan's questions are interesting. Of course he doesn't say it can't be done, which is what Alan is fishing for, because everyone can clearly see that it can. So instead, Mdawg responds that "you have to consider the person making the claims". And THIS is quite telling. Apparently if you don't like the person making the claim, it must not be true. I guess that is the new Mdawg standard, rather than the truth. This guy must make some kind of Attorney. :rolleyes:
As a final point, Mdawg suggests this technique is something I came up with after reading it in a book. That seems to be the new line being repeated to attempt to discredit me. So I challenge Mdawg to show or reference any book that has any discussion of this technique. There isn't one that I am familiar with.
Everything I share is either based on my own experiences from my 19 years of blackjack card counting advantage play. Most are things I have learned from my own experience, but a very little bit things learned from other players that I network with. If I share something I do, learned from others, I always try to credit that person/player.
It all comes back to one thing with these guys. They don't like me, so I can't be doing what I say. I have come to accept these attempts to discredit me, but Alan, as someone who claims to be a journalist, you showed nothing but a bias from the very origins of this discussion. That is contrary to what journalism is supposed to be. You should be ashamed.
I do not understand why Alan is so hard ass regarding the tracking two tables. I know nothing about blackjack, but I sat at empty tables in various casinos and actually measured the distances with a tape measure. I laid out a couple cards and could see them. Then I went home and duplicated the distances at home. Yes, I could still see the cards, and at worst distances could discern paint from pips. So there's no question you can physically ID cards at other tables. My eyes suck, and I could do it. It's just a question of getting good enough angles and views from appropriate seats. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what seats would be best.
Who knows? Back in the 90's, I could watch six or more football games simultaneously and know what's going on (and be able to ballpark track stats) and be able to keep down and distance in my head before there were graphics each play during broadcasts. That seems more unlikely a skill than tracking two tables.
Some people live in a world devoid of reason. They fabricate stupid stories about seeing 18 yos and then are so stunned that they were caught in a lie that they try their best to discredit other people. But they're too stupid to attack statements that could plausibly be false, so they say stupid shit like "It's not possible to turn your head 60 degrees to the left and remember two separate numbers for a few rounds."

To be clear I never busted Kewl's balls about tracking 2 tables. IIRC, it was only 3 tables. 2 seems very possible to someone with enough practice, but 3 is a whole different game for various reasons.
