It is a speculative stock. That said, based on your recommendation and some research I did on my own, I recommended this stock to a friend who was looking for a speculative play. She bought it near its recent low. Like all speculative plays, you get lucky sometimes. I bought Moderna early on during the epidemic when the names of proposed vaccine developers were first made public; I picked them because I liked the fact they were doing it in a different way, outside the box, via RNA.
Glad I did.
Earlier this month I sold half my position, which paid off the purchase price plus gave a healthy profit: still have half of the original position which I plan to hold for the long haul, believing as I do that they'll be exploring other types of vaccines / drugs in the future based on their RNA tech.

Makes me think they can control the machine from behind the scenes.
I didn't like that at all as I have only seen that once in my life.
Kind of a problem since I will do things away from the machine while it is locked up thinking it can not unlock unless keyed.
Obviously. that theory was finally proven wrong after 30 years.
And they offer plenty of wipes to wipe down your own machines, chairs and the surrounding area if you so choose.
Lastly, if you desire you can hit the change button and request someone come over and sanitize your machine and or machine bank.

Yes I am not sure what happened there. AxelAss stepped in to troll me hard, and all I did for the most part was just point out how he was repeatedly violating specific WOV forum rules, when OnceDear stepped in to ask us to knock it off using a WOV-disapproved (profane) comic image, and then allasudden all three of us were suspended. If we are to believe that OD is in fact suspended that is.
I assume this is more of a "stand in the corner until you two knock it off" type suspension, but who knows.

I should mention that I had my day playing lower limit when I first started out in Atlantic City back at age 20. My bankroll at the time was $4300 (when I started) and my first max bet was $40, going by Wong's BR should be 100x max bet at the time (which is now outdated with software). Playing those $40 max bets at the crappy 8 deck games in AC, resulted in a win rate about $7, which I was living off at the time AND trying to build my bankroll. Yikes! I will also say, there could be some younger counter, with minimal expenses, maybe living at home, or sharing a low rent apartment, that might be thrilled at earing $35 an hour EV (Eliot's example) at this stage of his life and career. Or going the other way, there could be some retired dude, supplementing his retirement income that could be thrilled with $35 / hr EV. But for most serious /professional players...No.
Plus you have to realize that when you run or analyze numbers as Eliot did in his power point, that doesn't really translate into real word play and results. For one, you are not going to get 100 rounds per hour average, especially at crowded lower limit tables, and it doesn't account for moving around between games, travel time, scouting time. So whatever hourly number you come up by the numbers like Eliot just did, long term, a player is probably getting half that.
