I'm not so sure I wanna bet anymore. Caron36 is STILL in Blue to this minute. He or she lasted in Blue longer than I thought... I was expecting Caron36 to turn Red within MINUTES of my post, and it's been over 4 HOURS since my post, and Caron36 is STILL in Blue. But Vegas is three hours behind Miami so I will see what happens by 12 AM Miami Time(9 O'clock Vegas Time).... Rather than use another Post, I think I only have one more post left today, Once Dear, I shouldn't be betting against you since you are a WOV Admin and that is a conflict of interest.... ;)

To be fair, it seems that the True Passage Mods ONLY immediately approve Mdawg's posts, making it unfairly seem like Mdawg is the only Poster posting there.... I gave an innocent reply to Mdawg's thread about Masks in Casinos and my post sat unposted for like 4 or 5 months(It said,"Post awaiting Mod Approval)before Mdawg told the Mods about it and they FINALLY put it through. Well, Caron36 JUST turned Red today. I predicted that fool wouldn't last long and I was right. Thank God I didn't bet the $100 for him or her to be banned yesterday. I honestly thought he or she would be in RED by yesterday. But in my defense, it's extremely possible that the Admins knew that Caron36 is a Troll/Sock from yesterday vand WOV Admins decided not to ban him yesterday to spite me. That's a hell of an accusation/assumption to make.

Here's an assumption you can make, though:

Axelwolf is an advantage player. As such, he makes money by risking money when he has the advantage in the bet by way of one mechanism or another. If Axelwolf proposes a willingness to make a bet with you as to a certain matter, then you should almost definitely NOT make it, because he is most likely at an advantage. In my opinion, I don't think that advantage would come by way of flatly cheating, but simply by knowing of a reliable exception to the earlier claim that what he has stated is, "Impossible."

I have no idea who Suspended you as I am not privy to that information. I can say that Wizard was on at the exact time that you were suspended and an addition to the Suspension list was made within no more than ten minutes after you went red. I think I saw even more green than that at the time you were Suspended, but could be mistaken. Also, it could have been one of the LCB guys who, as far as I know, generally do not engage in Suspensions.

That said, Wizard was 100% online at the time you were Suspended, so that's the assumption that I would make if I were inclined to assume anything.

To the last bit, Axelwolf is a professional gambler. As an extension of that, it stands to reason that he would not want to engage you in a casino unless it was to his financial benefit. The fact that he seems not to like you (just my opinion) is likely also a contributing factor to not wanting to meet up with you if it's not to his financial advantage.

I remember a couple of years ago on this forum, mickey crimm let somebody off the hook (don't think it was coach) who didn't think he could demonstrate his usual vulturing on any given day. Mickey explained how easy it would be to set up a location or two in advance if the challenge involved a sizable wager. But rather than do it or take the bet, mickey more or less said that he would let the person off the hook by explaining how easy it would be to take their money.

It was coach. At the time I was averaging close to $600 a day vulturing Montana machines. For a sizable bet I was willing to start at 8 AM and produce a $500 win by midnight. I could have done it legitimately. But the easy thing to do would be to frontload some games to where they are close to giving up a bonus or progressive.

I could then stand there and laugh at the idiot that bet me while I make the $500 in about ten minutes. LOL!! However, I did let belly off the hook by explaining to him how easy it would be to set him up. To which, he harangued me for being an asshole that would set people up. Exactly. Knowing how easy it would be and actually doing it are two totally different things.

All's fair in love and war when it comes to hustlers making bets with each other, but if there's one thing that I will defend myself on, it's that I would never angle shoot on a ploppie. In fact, even in my casino (vulturing) affairs I deliberately go WAY out of my way not to have any influence on their actions whatsoever. If they're on a machine I want, I'm not going to hover over them, sit behind them, walk behind them every three seconds or anything along those lines. That's not even a nod to me; it's just basic politeness and decency.

In fact, one thing some hustlers/vultures can't stand about me is I don't try to set up the, "Accidental bet creates a play," angle. Basically, what some will do is set variable state machines upon which plays can be generated relatively quickly to the maximum possible bet before leaving the machine. I always set it to the lowest bet (if bet amount only) or the lowest bet with the most lines (for something where you can change bet amount and number of lines).

If I'm in the casino and someone else has been there (obvious by all of them being set to max), then I change them all to the lowest bet possible just to be a prick.

All that said, Coach Belly is a great many things and not all of them bad, but he's definitely a ploppie...which itself isn't bad. It comes as no surprise to me that MickeyCrimm would not angle shoot a ploppie...MickeyCrimm has controversial opinions that he doesn't shy from stating in very harsh terms, but he has integrity in his dealings with people. (I mainly mean real world dealings, for the record.)

I agree with the sentiment 100%. The only way to guarantee that you never lose gambling is to never gamble to begin with. If you look at us all here bickering with one another endlessly (including me), what becomes clear is that everyone who gets too deep into this crazy world loses something even if they may happen to win money.

I can not answer questions that would be better directed to Monet. I have never met Monet and there are more words in this thread than Monet and I have shared privately, ever. I don't even know why I am here, much less have the capacity to answer that question for other people.

In the meantime, I make money to write about gambling. If someone happens upon the sites, then odds are they already gamble. Trying to give an intelligent response to a very weird post gets lost in the minutiae of redietz' confused mind.

There are no "lessons learned" for real life from gambling. That's just plain weird. I never gambled until I was 42, yet when I got seriously into it I called upon my real life experiences and knowledge to guide my success. And there are many, many very successful people who refuse to gamble, yet are extremely successful in their lives. Your post correctly assesses gambling as well as a number of other career choices or off-the-cuff whims. But it falls far short of being applicable across the board (if that's what you meant).

I find it hard to beleive a serious card counter was only playing a $50-$200 spread. I suspect Alan got many aspects of the article wrong (as he often does). So I hope someone asks him to link to the article, just to see what he thinks he read.

That is what I thought at first mickey, but then I went back and read what I posted. I never actually mentioned $6000. I just said I had a pretty good losing session after lunch that left me with about $4000 which was not enought to comfortably start a new session. I also never mentioned a bet spread or max bet, especially a $200 max bet...that is ridiculous.

If he was talking about me, leave it to Alan, the so called journalist, to get everything ass backwards. So the actual details were that I lost a couple smaller sessions before lunch totaling about $1100. After lunch, I had a session that I lost $4850. I was playing a spread with a max bet of $400. So that is 12 max bets that were lost....which is not that many at all. I don't know what this crap about a player losing 120, $50 bets and how unlikely that was, was all about.

That Alan is some journalist alright. I also thought the purpose of his thread was to mention a player losing while recording postive expectation. Alan just has never understood EV. It also just continues to amaze me how these guys that talk about me, from Alan, to Moses, to Mdawggy, to blackhole, don't get anything right about what they are saying. That can't be by mistake. They all distort everything.

Well, I do think he was talking about me really. I recorded a $6000 lost while mentioning the positive EV of 170 and the day after Alan writes about a card counter who lost $6000 while playing a positive expectation game.

Since he got the bet spread and max bet sooooo wrong, I would have liked someone to ask him for a link to this so called article just to confirm. Perhaps I should have waited for that before calling him a bad journaist. But I will tell you based on my xperiences with Alan and him getting everything wrong, even if he was referring to some other article that was almost spot on what I mentioned just the day before, I can almost guarantee, Alan still got it wrong. I also think I know where the $200 max bet came from. In one of my responses to blackhole (that same day), about how a player can play within in the comfort level of a casino, I mentioned a player playing a $50 table and how, his first jump in bet at first advantage $100 would draw no attention and his second jump in bet to $200 would draw no attention, and it wasn't until his final jump to max bet that he will have begun to draw attention. That final jump would be to $400, but I didn't mention $400, I just said final jump to max bet. I'll bet Alan didn't understand the final jump was to $400, and just went with spread of $50 to $200 and put these two different posts talking about two different things, together coming up with that I lost $6000 while playing $50-$200 spread.

I strongly suspect he was talking about me and got everything all screwed up as far as details, but even if he wasn't talking about me and there was some kind of almost identical article, I would bet he still got all the details wrong and screwed up.

Listen shit for brains, if what you say were true that everything I post is fantasy and makes no sense, there would be a number of legitimate blackjack players on different forums, arguing that. But there isn't a single one.
