If you enter enough tournaments over the years you'll probably do well in some thus having the opportunity of padding your resume. I can certainly see how that might be worthwhile since it's like getting paid for free advertising.

Of course the most successful APs are horse bettors they have made the most money so I agree there’s money in betting sports. Doesn’t change my opinion that it’s a boring life. Much like playing online poker eventually it gets boring as fuck.

Qualify of life is maxed out at around 5 million Liquid IMO. There’s Really nothing else to do or buy that moves the needle at this point. Everything you start to buy after that is just a flex that brings no joy. Working on new things looking for different opportunities, exploring that’s life. Sitting behind a computer screen all day is not my idea of a fulfilling life. But to each his own.

Seed, you missed the heyday of in-person sports betting. Not my fault you're too young. I spent 90-100 days a year in LV for more than 20 years -- all wagering in person for half that time, then reduced to half the wagers in person for the last 10 years. Traipsing six or seven miles half the days to gather lines and bet while making on-spot judgements. Nothing more in-person or in-your-face than that. Plus you got to wrangle comps at each stop. Plus figuring out the best Monday night locales where a serious bettor could kill the drawings and promos. I walked away with many $100 and $500 drawing wins and Circus steakhouse meals just hanging at Circus for the MNF game and making normal wagers. Because what serious bettor is hanging out at Circus-Circus on Monday night?

Nothing more face to face than months of that.

By the way, Seed, a woman I dated was accused of being a working girl during Halloween one Monday night at Circus-Circus. She was dressed as a Fembot from Austin Powers. I was going to mention Horse betting, but the big money makers seem to find very unique things. I think it would be fairly difficult for the average Joe to have any shot at making money betting on horses. I believe the average Joe with an understanding some mathematics, +EV, and advantage play could do well betting on sports if he were dedicated to doing it.

Betting sports isn't necessarily boring. It's like a treasure hunt finding good stuff to bet. You can travel to different markets and be involved in various different +EV aspects of sports betting, I think there's enough variety to keep it fresh. I wouldn't know what 5 years doing nothing but sports would feel like. I don't know why anyone would ever do that, I don't think I could help myself from other forms of Advantage Play along the way, even if the money was better just focusing on sports.

I’ve done sports bonus churning for easy money some Big scores, but after day 4 of sitting in a hotel room or riding around to all the local Starbucks placing live and online bets to clear its boring. Eventually I just ended up chopping with a guy to churn our accounts just so I didn’t have to do it.

Same for online casino bonus clearing we had it down to about 40 min per person to clear all the sites in one state. You know I’m sure (avoiding the clearing requirements) yes it was easy money. There’s just something about walking in the front door of a casino winning money and leaving. That and the exploring / looking for rare opportunities in casinos. The travel everything like that is what I enjoy the most. Putting together a complex team play avoiding surveillance and the rat APs that take pictures of you constantly in the casino. That’s more fun

I had a similar situation in the last month betting NBA basketball with an offshore online sportsbook. Nets were -6 points in a game but +190 on the money line. I bet a few hundred on the money line. The bet was still active as the game started, but during the game, the bet just disappeared. No explanation, no email stating the bet was void, like I sometimes get. Just disappeared as if never made.

I didn't exactly say it was 4x rollover at one and 6 times at another because I didn't want to be that specific in fear of anything being tied to me. I doubt sportsbooks in costa Ricos or wherever are reading VCT, but I just didn't want to say that, while that play was active just in case.

The rollover and bonuses I received at 2 of the books where NOT offers shown or available on their websites. I received them because of several years as a losing player, just as a losing slot player for years at a brick and mortor might receive better offers than the normal. When I decided to bonus whore this year, several previous losing years benefited me.

In one case, not going to say which one, I received an email from "my host" at the sportsbook at the start of football season saying he had good offers available if I was interested. Can’t believe I’m confirming this fairytale writer However what he’s talking about in regards to host offers in the sports book based on slot loss in a casino is something I have worked with teams of people. Chances are Kew read about it somewhere tho and didn’t actually do anything.
