I just went back and read the account of the "perfect Shoe" that I posted at WoV. In that account, I made reference to the number of hands twice.

1) "the other two players happened to drop out leaving me heads up with the dealer for about 30 rounds".

and 2) "Only odd thing is that in 30 some rounds with a very positive count, I received no blackjacks".

So going with "about 30 rounds" after I was heads up playing max bet and my supermax bet, lets say 30 of 32, maybe 29 of 31.

How are you feeling about that? :confused:

30 for 32 or 29 for 31 is a far cry from Mdawgs 60 straight BJ wins in a row isn't it? perhaps that is why Wizard said nothing. because while and unusual event, (which was why I shared) not some ridiculously astronomical odds that you are claiming.

So I do apologize for remembering those details incorrectly. It has been 13 years. I have played improbably 3000 days, and 15,000 shoes. I think the 35 rounds number I recently used probably included the 5 rounds or so, before I was playing max bet that includes some (maybe all) loses at minimum and smaller wagers.

Anyway, I did make a mistake in recalling the event. Can you possibly forgive me for remembering incorrectly? Please a few more deep breaths. I don't want to compound this mistake by being responsible for a fine human being like yourself experiencing a medical situation.

I'll tell you what it does do though. Remember all this bullshit we have heard started by Singer and repeated by Mdawg, about how I have "worn my story smooth" over the years? Well guess what, this proves, that is not the case. Unlike some here, I am not writing a fantastical fiction story. Just a player sharing some experiences that may occasionally remember something wrong.

So even when I make a mistake....I still win. I still beat the trolls and haters. :cool:

You probably think that your 30 "some" wins makes your story twice as believable as MDawg's "some" 60 wins.

So multiply how believable MDawg's story is by 2, and the product is your believability.

I am having a bad day on the online forums though. Besides, making an honest mistake remembering details form a session 13 years ago, I have wasted probably 2 hours over the last day and half fighting with a know-it-BJ player (or maybe spanish21) over at GF that had the gall to attack Don Schlesinger over the Illustrious 18 blackjack index plays. This clown wants to play 200 strategy change plays, which just might add about $1.37 to his pocket.

This reminded me of JSTAT attacking Thorp over a small mistake in beat the dealer. I tried hard to be respectful and carefully think out my replies trying to help him understand. And he just kept getting more obnoxious, insisting all the professional players were wrong and he was right. And all the while kept mentioning some count I had never heard of.

Finally, I googled the count he seemed to be promoting. It took me to threads at Norm's blackjack forum, and WoV, where he displayed the same obnoxious behavior, insisting he knew it all and ALL the real players, both Pro and recreational were wrong. BOTH threads ended with his banning.

Next reference took me to Amazon, where he is selling a self published book (shades of Rob) about his silly system, which I will not mention so as not to give him the publicity he seeks. In addition to selling his book at Amazon, he is a seller of many other different kinds of products. An online seller of many different products just screams successful advantage player doesn't it?

I would like to have the two hours or so that I put in earnestly trying to help this individual. What a waste these online forums are. :(

I find quite consistently that those who most thrive on unmasking phony experts, or in general policing expertise, are themselves quite mediocre in the field in question. (Or complete frauds where that is possible). Come to think of it we can add redietz to the list.

Penn and Teller are an exception but I'm not sure if they really cared about unmasking fake psychics or if that was more just a way of promoting themselves.

As far as my winning session, I posted about the session and then OnceDear splintered the post off into its own thread. OD and not I created the thread title referring to 60 hands in a row. I bring these up primarily because these are like knives being twisted in UNKewlJ's guts. And the fact that it bothers him so much, is most of the reason why he's not at all the type who could play low key in a casino the way he claims, and not get booted time and again for getting hysterical when things don't go his way. The REAL story behind how he got that black eye recently could give us some more insight.
