There is this AP named ssho88 at WOV who participated in the thread “Book Review Advanced Advantage Play By Eliot Jacobson”

He’s making millions AP’ing Asia casinos. Guess he’s trying to help the AP’s out in the states telling them where they need to AP. In 2016 he made over a million dollars. He hired 9 bettors and card counters for 15 weeks. They get paid $200.00 dollars each day plus free meals. Salary for the counters was 190K, he and his other 2 investors netted 270k each. He claims the counters are local addicted gamblers that consider 200 a day plus food a big sum to them.

Imagine 9 compulsive gamblers handing over more than one million dollars in 15 weeks while only keeping 200 a day with a burger and fries. Were these counters standing in front of a home depot hoping to get hired in the am for the day?

Find the thread and just read ssho88 posts. You just can’t make this shit up. He’s been a member since 2011 but I never recalled reading anything by him before.

Of course, Axel had a post saying he don’t doubt his claims and understands outside the USA is way behind when it comes to AP’s. Maybe we’ll be getting first hand updates soon from Axel in Asia.

It's funny how reactions differ to these types of stories. You seem consumed with jealousy, whereas I immediately think of all the headaches involved. Hiring and supervising employees is annoying, especially if they're a bunch of addicted-gambler lowlifes entrusted with my money. The casinos are probably smoke-infested hellholes. You're always at risk of retribution from management. You're away from home.

From my view, it's not a fun way to get rich. I haven't looked at ssho88's other posts. It's possible he's lying, but the general parameters seem plausible, so others are presumably accomplishing similar results -- probably without feeling the need to brag on internet message boards.

I still don't understand why Asians are assumed by management to be morons in a casino. I realize many Asians are superstitious, but the smart ones are very competent at math.

I have known there are good opertunities around the world for a long time. I have no interest in traveling outside the U.S. for AP or anything. Traveling seems more like a chore to me. Not that I would never concider it if the right situation came up, but it takes a fair amount of modivation that I just don't have. For the most part I'm happy doing my thing here in the USA.
If somome I work with was interested, I would be willing to be an investor in the right situation.

First of all, I just got done with 8 weeks of chemo, and radiation on 06/16, hoping to treat bladder cancer. I won’t know how effective it was for a couple more months. I take 7 pills a day for my heart after suffering one stroke and one heart attack, because stents were not possible. The only reason I bring this stuff up is because any day I could end up pushing daisy’s up through the soil. I lived a great life, and have no fear if the time suddenly arrives. So to even think I'm jealous of this nonsense with so much on my plate, shows how uninformed you actually are.

I spent lots of time in casinos all over the world throughout my life, and had some great unforgettable times in many of them. The two weeks I just spent in Vegas on a gambling marathon took a toll on me.

I am sorry to hear of your health issues. I hope your chemo was successful and your health improves.

Good luck with your results. The chemo and radiation combination can really take it out of you, so I hope you're able to bounce back sufficiently and enjoy the days even if the treatments didn't get the job done. I lost my wife 15 years ago to cancer, and the chemo/radiation combo was tough.

I'm not sure if you believe games of opinion count as AP work. If you do, and you really want to understand if some few people can beat sports, I'd suggest you PM Alan to review whatever stuff of mine he's read.

I really appreciate all the kind words. Not sure how to say this without making a fool of myself, but the only reason I even mentioned that stuff, was simply to show how little this AP shit actually all means to me, and how ridiculous calling me jealous actually was.

Chemo was the worst experience ever in my life. Radiation every day Monday to Friday, and chemo every Tuesday and Friday. After every Friday chemo, I couldn’t actually get out of bed for any period of time till Monday. If these treatments didn’t work, I don’t care what the consequences are, I’ll never take that chemo again.

We almost canceled the Vegas trip, but I started to feel good again two weeks after treatments ended.

I also noticed a different attitude about losing money. For the first time, I was getting bored gambling and more concerned about sticking closer to my wife. The wives usually don’t hang with us guys while we’re gambling. They say they can’t stomach watching us piss money away. They do play slots, but mostly shop together. By the time we go home we usually have to buy more luggage to get their crap home.

We went through the chemo/radiation combo the first time, then chemo the second, then experimental chemo at NIH and UAB, since she was relatively young and otherwise healthy. The effects of radiation are pretty much cumulative, and the chemo is tolerated well the first go round or two, so you think it'll be easier than it is for awhile, but then it finally hits you.

If these treatments do not work, they may recommend more chemo or radiation separately. I would consider it, as it might be easier on you than the combination.

It looks like ssho88 and his crew are exploiting blackjack and baccarat side bets. It's well known that some of these side bets have been exploitable and some have gone extinct here is the US because of that exploitability. Eliot Jacobsen covered some of these side bets in his book. And ssho88 says he has analyzed 50 or 60 more sides bets than Eliot has in his book. I think it is quite possibly true what ssho88 says he and his crew are doing. But I think ssho88 may be overstating his role in it

Blackhole's opinion of it is not going to change because the asshole doesn't have the time or temerity to investigate these kind of claims. But he has plenty of time to bitch. All he has time for is to sit down on his computer and write some vitriol.

The game was Buffalo Blackjack in Colorado, with a side bet called 21 Magic. The casinos screwed up by allowing bigger bet amounts than the game designer intended. For Cartwright, the game was very profitable, but only because of his impressive skill set. It's not something anyone could do. I think kewlJ also played the game, but he presumably relied on others for the critical math analysis.

First, I don't play for W2G jackpots. I quit that almost ten years ago. I have a high hourly rate without playing for those kind of jackpots. I work short term advantages where the payoffs are well below the W2G threshhold. And I won't be getting involved in any other kind of business like selling things on ebay. There is no way I could get the same kind of hourly rate that I make on machines.

My proof as to my locations will come in the form of photos posted here of the casinos I visit with the front page of the local newspaper in the photo showing that days date. If I'm at brand x casino on a certain date I will take a snapshot of the casino along with that days local newspaper then immediately post it here on the same day showing that I am presently at that location.
