To be clear, I am not doubting any of your claims or trying to fuck with you. I'm just trying to get the gist of it all. I have googled you, I seen that you placed in some contests. (I won a casino football contest the first time I ever played one and beat out many thousands of entrieries and then took 2nd the next time. It would have been tied for first, but the wrong tie breaker was accidently bubbled in.) Other than that, I didnt get any real information.

I asked Red about JoelD several months ago. At the time JoelD's picks were less than impressive (don't know how he is doing now) and I was just wondering if he was someone somewhat known and credible or just some Joe(l) making picks.

Norm's Blackjack site has a guy that makes one pro football pick a week...his best game. He is currently 5-8-1, which is a significant improvement over last year. ;) I think some of the forum members might be looking for his picks so they can bet the other way.

At WoV, there is currently a dude picking basketball. He started out 'axel-like'...woops, sorry, meant to say "flaming" at like 10-3, so last weekend I went with 2 of his picks, Georgetown and someone else, I forget. I lost them both. The second game the guy at WoV had someone at -5 and he pushed. I unfortunately has -5.5 and lost. Wouldn't ya know since then he is 4-1. :(

Clearly, the website does not state what coach posted above. I do not use historical trends or angles doing what I do, but Marc Lawrence does. I provide the following for those who do not understand sports betting. I had not visited the site in more than a year, but here's what I saw.

What the ad states is that his NFL Game of the Year uses a combination of trends that are a cumulative 33-0 against the spread and are all applicable to the game he's chosen. Directly across the page, in a blurb selling that game, Lawrence lists his 15-year record for his Game of the Year at 11-4 ATS, which is what it is. Nowhere in the ad does Lawrence say his 10 star plays are 33-0 ATS.

What coach belly wrote above is simply incorrect. It's completely wrong. Go to the site and read the ad copy yourself. Why would coach lie about ad copy? Maybe he doesn't understand it. Maybe he felt the need to display his objectivity.

I had no idea redietz had customers or clients until I saw this thread.

Since the thread is totally inappropriate and I don't understand why Dan hasn't removed it, I'm going to try to change its direction.

So a question for redietz: what happens if the Supreme Court opens up sports betting to other states? What happens in Vegas and what happens with you?

The idea that Marc Lawrence is falsely claiming to have won 33 consecutive NFL Games of the Year against the spread is beyond ludicrous. Nobody makes claims like that anymore. I haven't seen anything like that since the first year USA Today was published. If someone reads ad copy and doesn't understand that it's referring to data mining, that's on them. The ad copy is designed for people who actually have some knowledge of sports betting.

I also changed the title of this thread to remove redietz's real name. While he makes that name public, the thread title was clearly made that way for SEO purposes, and that is not allowed here.

Back on Sept 2 in the Sports & Sportbetting section redietz put up a thread called my favorite line of the day. He put the line up well before gametime. It was James Madison -7 vs. East Carolina. He wrote some cryptic stuff about it but it's obvious he thought James Madison should have been favored by more points. James Madison won the game 34-14.

OneHit is someone with a very low tolerance for pushback, and someone who isn't quite all together mentally. He never responds to a fact with a fact. He responds with a speculation drawn from a set of conclusions he's already made. He opines. And he was posting so many times, kind of in the name of preventing people from gambling, that he was ruining the site. I thought it better for someone like me, who is positioned to pushback with facts from the public domain, to take him on than anonymous AP players. He went off the deep end for no real reason, and that's on him.

So the bottom line was he thought I was trolling for clients on this site but supposedly I didn't want to use my name without periods because -- damn if I know. So his solution was to post my real name in a thread title so people could find me? Thereby aiding my trolling for clients, I guess. That's tiltawhirl logic requiring meds. Normally you have to pay people to sprinkle your name on sites.

I always wonder what is wrong with people that have so little to do and have so much time to troll a forum like this. And why get into a big fight with a stranger about his prowess as a football handicapper?

Well, usually if someone wants to go after somebody, they at least gather all relevant information. I'm pretty much immune to this stuff, as recruiting clients from websites has never been something I've done. Maybe his campaign will bring a few more people to this site, so there could be an oblique benefit. I'm kind of disappointed he hasn't mentioned that I'm a socialist and that I worship Pazuzu the second Wednesday of every month, so he has some failings as a publicist, but I'm hoping he spreads my name far and wide.

Face, a moderator on Wizard of Vegas, started that forum when Gambling Forums started to go down. Some of the former members of Gambling Forums congregated there. It's a free for all I guess. V knows more about it than me. I wouldn't join because LarryS, one of the most miserable trolls the gambling forums have ever seen is there. And now that I know that Onehit is Garnabby I damn sure won't join it. Garnabby already had a long history of trollery. He joined here as Onehit so no one would know who he was. I think he has a few other usernames too.

Yes, that forum was started as an alternative to Gamblers Glen, which apparently became infected with a nasty virus: when I'd log on to GG the last few times Norton immediately detected a virus so now I avoid going there.

Face / Fisk was gracious enough to set it up after LarryS. and I talked about how it might be neat to have an alternative to GG; basically it's been a place for LarryS. and I to shoot the breeze about subjects which interest us, most of which are NOT gambling related.

Others are welcome to join,or not: it doesn't matter, there's no intent to "grow" the site.

Then garnabby aka OHW decided to start posting there: free site, his choice.

This post is clear evidence of just where LarryS intends to go. He is here for one reason to troll and be negative. This post is nothing but a declaration of his intent, baiting Mickey. And for those that don't know the two letters missing in larryS's "smoke a pack of **gs" comment is not 'ci', it is 'fa', as in fags. LarryS is going to smoke a pack of fags. That is because you ARE an asshole LarryS. :rolleyes: And I don't say that lightly. It's the face site. I think their GG site now gone...infected with viruses. It was before but now officially infected. lol Don't go. Not even worth it. There is 3 members, LarryS, MrV and now garnabby (OneHit). Face doesn't even participate, neither does Johnno. Up until 2 days ago it was just Larry and Mrv talking. (I don't know why they don't just email each other?). OneHit / Garnabby started spouting off when he was banned from here. Nobody is even answering him. He is basically talking to himself.

I am content to keep it as it is.

It turns out that LarryS. and I grew up a few towns apart, and we enjoy kibbitzing.
