Its an opinion based on facts for me and extrapolation of medical experience, and past dealings with MC and people in his condition. I admit I could be wrong. And so can you.

Mickey, your post (quoted above) describes the events at Qfit's site and WoV to a tee. It was all about me calling out a fraud, who was misleading members on Norm's blackjack site. That is what the whole things was really about. And it wasn't about calling out someone to put them down and make myself feel better or bigger....It was about calling them out because they were intentionally misleading other members and players, especially newer players.
And you left out one pretty big detail. I have now been proven right. More than a year after my 'bannings' at both sites, Well Known blackjack expert, and mathematician Don Schlesinger, author of Blackjack Attack3, completely "debunked" the person at Norm's site as completely full of shit. A fraud, making up impossible claims and misleading everyone, especially new players, just the same as I had said more than a year earlier.
The fact that I was 100% right on the single issue that this was really all about, doesn't change anything. Neither of the guys that banned me are going to say, "hey you were right and had a right to call this person out for intentionally misleading claims". Their ego's won't allow them to do that. I mean they can both be upset with the way I handled things. I was a dick at times. BUT, I was wrongly banned from two forum that I really tried to contribute positively at for years....that made me angry. It took me a long time to get over this betrayal. I guess you could say it took a second open-heart surgery for me to realize what is and isn't important in life.
I honestly hold no bad feelings toward Mike or Norm. I was at lunch the other day with friends with non-pharmacy PhDs, and since some of us are old and require medication, we discussed the topic of pharmacists as favorite people. While there are 300,000 pharmacists in the US (all with those uncommon pharmacy PhDs), that's still a lot of per person work to write the 240 million (as in "million") opioid scrips annually doled out to help Americans make it through the day. So everyone appreciates the hard work of the pharma phalanx. I do worry about one of my friends who swears by Xanax a little too much, but hey, if the doc and the pharmacist tell you it's a go, baby, it's a go. Don't sweat it, I tell him.
So a quick salute to everyone with the foresight to become a legal drug pusher before the big demand came upon us. Kudos to the pharma career planning and demographic projections. Without pharma, after all, where would we be?
P.S. I trust 100% of my pharmacists. I realize I'm a child of the 70's, but if you can't trust your dealers, who can you trust?

However just as pharmacists are the checks and balance system for finding drug interactions from drugs prescribed from multiple doctors or even from the same doctor, and noticing wrong directions and dosages that could hurt a patient...and having the MD change it behind the scenes....Pharmacists are also the gate keepers with alot of technology to help them protect their license in reacting to over use and over prescribing of opiods.
Being addicted to opiods is often unavoidable in people dying of cancer....who cares if they die addicted...as long as they are made comfortable in their living days. Also people with inoperable spinal pain....whats the alternative. Once everything is tried.....sometimes opiods are all thats left
But there are also doctor mills allowing people to buy a precription in essence.....and its usally a pharmacist that catches it and reports it. Over the last 5 years with the widespread use of the "Cures" database......someone in a DEA office can spot irregular prescribing.
However before the irregular prescribing becomes that noticeable....its usually the pharmacist that sees it at ground level....and reacts.
And with obamacare...where millions of new people were unleashed on the medical practices all at once, without first building up the infrastructure of the medical facilities......people are getting less and less personal care...less and less time of MDs to spend with patients....and its easier to write a prescription and send them on their way.
I was very happy to retire early because of the deleterious effects obamacare had on patients...that they have no idea was occurring.
The inferior care they were receiving, the mistakes that were being made. Not a clue. And I witnessed it..and removed myself from it.
So on a daily basis for almost 40 years I either saved lives, or made peoples lives better....I cant control the bad apple pharmacists, nor can I control the bad apple cops, or teachers. But I can say for a fact that I did help control the bad apple doctors that were writing illegal rxs. I met my first FBI agent up close and personal once from that type of occasion.
So go back to being the great "investment analyst " in sports betting that you devote your life to. And dont worry about me or the pharmacy profession. Most of us pharmacists sleep very well at night after contributing to society in a very meaningful and substantive way

A pharmacist is nothing more than a middle man, who drives up costs and prices of services. Many people have started cutting out this "middle man" and are purchasing their medications directly from the pharmaceutical companies and bulk distributors. Following is a story of how Pharmacists are likely to be replaces by robots. You can say that it seems difficult to you (it really isn't) but that apparently numerous experienced players do so regularly with success for many years. pharmaceutical companies have zero pharmacists on duty to fill prescriptions. Thats not what they are licensed to do. The average person cannot buy a case of Brillo directly from the company that makes it...let alone a prescription. Thats why Costco is so popular. Because they have large sizes of over the counter items, and people cant buy large quantities directly from companies.
Pharmacists are "middle men" that may have saved you from getting ill without you knowing,by catching a doctor error , calling the doc before you picked up the rx to change to another drug, or change directions or dosage. If there is a delay....they tell you that they couldnt read something on the rx ..because they are not going to tell you "you doctor made a mistake that can make u ill or kill you so we are trying to contact him/her". Thats the job of these "middle men".
And yes jobs inthe pharmacy have been given to robots. I didnt go to school to learn how to count pills up to 60 and put them in a vial. There are now robotics for that. And the robots label the vial as well. Pharmacists are used for their minds, not for the manual labor that robots do.
Pharmacists are also available for free to answer questions for self medication. Where else can you get free medical advice face to face with a real person...where you can show them a rash, or swelling, or any disgustiing body condition and get get an opinion.We are also a front line level person thaty will tell you if u need to see an MD for something you have been "letting go" hoping it would go away.
A robot doesnt give vaccines. A robot doesnt recognize dire symptoms and calls an ambulance for you. A robot doesnt show compassion as a mother picks up meds for her dying child.
But a "middle man" does those things.
I am proud to have been a middle man.......but an AP cannot have that kind of pride. I feel sorry for you KJ.

A pharmacist was involved in the dispensing of KJ's heart meds, both pre and post surgery.
Like most real professionals, they're only appreciated when you need them.
I suspect KJ really would have died (this time, bwa ha ha) had it not been for meds managed and dispensed by or under the auspices of a pharmacist.

Those IV bags dont come pre- filled with meds. The meds are added to the solution via syringe...and then the bag is put on a "drip" into your veins.

The thing about IVs is that an exact calculation is needed, often based on body weight..so each IV bag can be different. There is no.."one size fits all" that the pharmacist pulls out of a cabinet.
