I downloaded the current website version of the Boyd slot club rules and it doesn't include the wording about advantage players that mickeycrimm posted about. Does anyone have a copy of the rules showing that text or is there a new link to it?

Thank you. Which promotion is this about?
The new rule applies to all their promotions and drawings.
Forgive me if I'm off topic. First, a quick story. Then a question. I was sitting at a machine a couple of Saturdays ago because there was one particular game I was interested in watching and that seat gave me the perfect view. Cocktail waitress comes up, I order a beer, tip her a buck. She comes back and says "if you want you're next drink free, you're going to have to play the machine." So I put in a $20. Got down to my last $4.58 and figured "what the hell, I just paid $20 for this beer." Well, it hits and I'm hoping I get my $20 back, then by the time it stopped, the math for the credits done quickly in my head indicated I'd more that doubled my investment with a $45 return. Then I realize ticket read $450 and was happier than a pig in poop.
So I have another beer, tip the waitress $20, and goes cash my ticket. When I come back, there is a couple looking at the machine. We had a brief convo and they said they go around looking at machines that have just paid off. But I didn't think too ask them so I'll ask you guys. Is a machine that just paid big a good thing or a bad thing?
No machine is hot. No machine is cold. No machine is due to hit. Per the strategy used the odds always remain the same. If the chance of a full house is 1 in 90 and you hit one the chance that you will hit one on the next hand is 1 in 90. This also applies to all other hands you can hit.
Thanks Mick. Another question. There was this dealer they'd always bring in to cool me off. He was very good at his job. Hence, not someone you soon forget.
I noticed his wife would watch other machine players during his shift of dealing blackjack. Then, after his shift, he changed clothes and they'd go around and play certain machines. She'd point and he'd check it out, play a few spins and go on to the next. I only noticed because he kicked my butt. I suppose they had a system? But then, it must not be too good or he wouldn't be dealing cards.
Twilight zone.
Moses,
What year and casino did they bring in a cooler?
I looked over the language in the promotion rules. It appears this is for the 11x multiplier days. If you follow "the letter of the law" then anyone playing correct strategy on any full pay game including 25-cents 8/5 Bonus Poker could be impacted.
I doubt that's the case. My GUESS and I am emphasizing GUESS because that's what it is, is that Boyd added this language as a new "catch all phrase" to establish it's boundaries.
I doubt Boyd will take action against any player on its properties playing full pay video poker using correct strategy because they'd have to throw out nearly all of their players at the Suncoast, for example, which is loaded with locals who seem to always be on the full pay games and playing correct strategy. That's what you find at these locals casinos.
This rap says they won't include some games, and we all know what that means. Many casinos do this for certain types of promotions. So the addition of the part about AP's was frivolous.
It also says certain "known AP's" within the Boyd system would be "notified in advance" of their disqualification. So with the inimitable collection of self-proclaimed ap's here or anywhere, how about someone put up their disqualification letter that we may judge their prowess?
And what kind of social LOSER spends Christmas Day inside of a casino anyway??
I ignore Axel. I know it's just him playing games. I also ignore keystone and MaxPen.
But I have new respect for kewlj. Frankly I'd rather read about kewlj talking about blackjack and even EV and counting two tables than the garbage about Rob Singer's sex organs and his crap about wives and daughters. And it's hideous that Dan allowed it to continue this long.
"It doesn't take that much to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who is just talking".
Anyone (blackhole) who doesn't see that Axel knows what he is talking about (and thus not a fraud) simply doesn't want to see that. They want to see their own alternative reality and believe what they want to believe, not what is real.
Axel is a bit of a weasel. He can be a back-stabber and is not one of my favorite people, but he most definitely is NOT a fraud in regards to advantage play.
Aside from all of axel's dodgey and unchecked input into various threads, I believe we saw all we needed to know about him when he put gift cards up for sale at a discount on this forum. It was a very desperate move, and removed all mystery about whether he and his merry band of "highly bankrolled ap's" are the successful bunch of LV ap-hoodlums mickey and other WoV anonymous cowards here built him up to be.
kew is a weaky. :)
There is a particularly nice version of Little drummer boy sung by Stella Parton, that I enjoy. For those that don't know, Stella Parton is Dolly's younger sister, born May 4, 1949.
I also have a series of numbers that I enjoy over the holiday season, that I could share. Completely random of course, not SS or phone numbers in code. (right Rob)
Being in the holiday season: Snta Inc.
Freedom of speech right?
It's not about liking anyone kew. It's about your continued lack of dignity and self-worth, your alarming inability to do anything you say, and your embarrassing cowering when it comes to being 100% unable to not read, be concerned with, or participate in any forum where you either get canned from or promise/swear/pledge to never come back again. To me, as well as to everyone else even though they won't come out and say it, you are disgustingly weak while lacking in the self-confidence to be able to just carry-on with your loosey-goosey life on your own.
One can only imagine the amount of humiliation a gutted freak like you suffers through every day.
And I like it!
Wait, Rob. Why are you quoting a post from keystone but writing to kewlj? Unless kew is keystone as well as kewlj?
Sometimes I get confused.
Anyway this whole forum is totally nuts. Rob you disappointed me when you started with this latest wager snd mentioned wives and daughters. How absolutely disgusting.
Then the usual suspects latch onto it instead of taking the high road.
And then Dan decides he's going to be the king of free speech and takes a perch on the peak of this dung heap of a forum.
What a sad piece of crap this has all become.
I tell you... Kewlj is now the guy I respect for also blaming Dan for this disaster of a forum.
Alan, that latest "challenge" by bozo was deserving of requiring his wife or daughter participating in the "warm-up" and "tape-measure me" phases because, well, with a fool like him around I thought I'd brighten up both their days, and at the same time, make his wife more disappointed than she likely always is....if that's even possible.
Now I'll put in boz' next post for him right here: "waaa....waaa....it's not a bet proposer's job to supply the terms! And Alan, go pay your son will you, instead of blowing it all at Red Rock on the first of the month!!! :)
Playing with an advantage doesn't necessarily mean you're an advantage player. If I'm playing blackjack and the (true) count goes to +4, there's an advantage, but that doesn't mean everyone else at the table is an AP, even though they are currently playing with an advantage.
A few years ago I was with my dad on a short vacation trip. He enjoys gambling and isn't an AP, but we were in an area where there were a few casinos. We had some down time and he said he wanted to go to a casino for an hour or two, is there anywhere specifically where we should play? So I went online, looked at some promotions at casinos around, called some places, and found one place had a $100 or $200 loss rebate for new signups and you get the freeplay the next morning if you end up losing. So.....we went and played it. My dad was playing with an advantage but he's definitely not an AP. Anyone else who played the promotion and had some common sense would also be playing with an advantage, even though they aren't necessarily APs.
Is Suncoast going to kick someone out for playing the 11x point multiplier day? No. Are they going to kick someone out who only plays on high multiplier days? I don't know, but that's a lot more likely.
For what it's worth, I reckon Barona has similar wording ("advantage player") in some of their promotional rules.
Boyd is definitely trying to weed out the unprofitable players.
This is one reason I like to play the 2 dollar version.
Not nearly as many lock ups.
I was playing those.
They also had Full Pay Triple Double.
This was a few years ago though before the major heat.
I played for 2 weeks solid over there and all around Boyd with a partner.
It seems Sams Town decided to double your points if you took Free Play for one month.
You had to take the Free Play on Wednesday or maybe it was Tuesday... once per week on a specific day.
So you had a massive amount of points for the week hoping they didn't screw you out of the double up.
Even if they did screw you, you still were playing over 100% with Point Days... the promotion just doubled the earn.
So this was kinda a big deal for those who knew about it.
The problem was that after the first two weeks Sams Town put up a sign discontinuing the promotion.
They got scared.
Never seen that promotion pop up again at Sams Town since.
14 days of easy money was nice and they screwed up later with 2 years of Young At Heart Free Money.
This is why they are doing what they are doing.
Tired of the APs robbing them blind basically even though some members here think the Casino doesn't care about AP or AP Play.
No matter what anyone says here... Boyd got hit hard with the Young at Heart Promo for a long time.
Almost everyone was running multiple cards on this all over the city.
Even little old ladies.
The problem with your assumptions monet is that most people who aren't proud to call themselves "ap's" do the exact same things you and your misguided ilk do all the time. The simple things you go on and on about do not take more than a middle school education to figure out. Most vp players aren't as dumb as you people like to think, and they are far more knowledgeable than either phony Dancer or his gimpy-voiced pipsqueak pal "Richard Munchkin" could even imagine.
Wise up.
For what it is worth: Public information available on Mr "Singer" states that he has a high school education. There is no mention of college degrees or a college education. But I am sure he has an answer for that. Maybe some sort of top secret thing.
mickey, please explain how you know that to be a fact.
Then if you have time (oh that's right, you DO---it's Christmas time and because you've always been too stupid and broke and socially rejectable to have a wife or a family, you'll be alone again at some Indian casino this year) could you please....FINALLY....produce one or two of those letters to the special players at Suncoast who you claim "have been informed" they are not welcome for promotions because they're super duper "advantage players"? Hint: maybe you could get some of those "degreed vpfreeer's" To Help you out on that :)
For someone that has never proven their claims you are a big stickler for proof. How about you lead by example. I will be glad to provide proof right after you produce your income tax returns that show you made 100K a year for 10 years at video poker. You know, the ones you bragged for two years that you would produce if arci did the same. Arci called your bluff and YOU WELSHED!!!!
Your word on anything is shit.

OK mickey, you're forcing me to once again humiliate you for your lack of experience and general knowledge with your "PhD in street smarts".
My last professional gambling year was in 2009. It appears you have not the slightest idea what IRS rules are for the # of years taxpayers are required to retain tax records, and the time limit returns can be requested for. Not surprising since you never file.
Given that humiliation, I would say that since it is you who keep tossing around your foolish claims of "knowing things about vpfreer's" and now who the Suncoast has labeled as unwelcome ap's, I would think you'd be chomping at the bit to be all set to prove that latest lie of yours by producing maybe one itty bitty wittle letter??
And you keep bringing up arci. Well here's what a proven liar like you would not want to understand. We already know he drove his wife to an early horrible death with his video poker addiction. Now just recently, my people showed me where his son Kevin--whom arci always praised as being an engineer in Illinois with a happy family--died at age 46 recently, years after their divorce that saw him move back in with dad because he was an office manager and not some big shot engineer like arci lied about. That should make you wonder about why he told so many more lies about himself and me--but it won't because it'll take you and the other idiot ap's here completely out of their comfort zones. The moral of the story? WHAT GOES AROUND ALWAYS DOES COME AROUND, AND IN SUCH RIGHTEOUS AND DESERVING WAYS. Serves him right, don'tcha think? God works in mysterious ways.
But here's the Good News. We're leaving for up north tonight at midnight, and unlike that weakling kew who just can't do what he says, I'll be away with my whole family until Jan. 3rd so I'm not going to be available for any further words of wisdom or schooling of you dummies until then.
In short, I'll take a break from insulting you and the others.
Enjoy the holidays with good 'ol Rosie Palmer, mickey!
Dan Druff, when this troll says this, which is about the third time this week that he has, he is telling you in no uncertain terms that his purpose here is to troll, insult and attack. He is telling you, he doesn't give a shit about anything except being the troll that he is. What the fuck is wrong with you for allowing this Dan Druff?
Again, just sounds like the casino wanting to deny service.
Casino's are not required to take action from anyone...
My opinion would be generally there is no hot or cold machine like others UNLESS its one of the Must Hit Machines.. Those Must Hit Machines are notoriously streaky.. Once they hit the odds drop significantly of another minor hit for quite awhile So yes in general it avgs out but I believe the Must Hit Machines are the ones that fit the moniker of being either due to hit or if they just hit keep on walking
So, Moses just to be clear - if you don't mind me asking - you are saying that casinos believe in and utilize "coolers"; dealers (or other players) who can cause a winning player or winning table to start losing.
and they really believe they have ability to do this?
and how about you? do you believe it? what are their techniques to accomplish this? how do they do it?
Thanks
Just to be clear. I'm talking hand shuffled pitch games. Not too long ago I was watching a guy play $1k a hand. He had 30K in chips on the table. No I wasn't spectating. He came up to my table with a partner. So I gave him the right of way. He quickly ran it up to $40K. Then a sudden dealer change. The new dealer was giving less than 50% pen. But the guy was too concerned about beating the house with him and his partners betting scheme too notice. He lost it all. He even mentioned "hey, you were my dealer last time I came here."
Get a clue dude. The guy kicked your ass last week and then suddenly shows up this week. There were like 20 tables going both times. What are the odds?
Yes, I've had it happen to me many times. Shortening pen is very common. One time, after a dealer change, the new guy was egging me on to bet more. So I didn't. He'd say "but there are still plenty of tens." I figured I was in the middle of some sort of set up. At the shuffle, I ask where are all the 10s? Evidently, he couldn't resist showing me his skill. He turned the deck over and spread out the cards. All the 10s were at the bottom. I thought WTF and took a restroom break to absorb what I'd just witnessed.
I come back to the table and another player sat down with black chips playing back and forth between one and two hands. He could not win a hand. He said after awhile and losing about $5k "jump in, maybe the cards will change." I answered, "no, I'm waiting for my wife to call and we are going to dinner." So I watched him get pummeled by the bouncing tens. By that I mean, he wasn't getting a 10. So he swipe and get a ten to bust or 19 at best. He double and not get a ten. He ask again, "you sure you don't want to play"? I said "no thanks, tens are at the bottom." Dealer immediately shuffled and gave me a look that would kill. I didn't care, it's not like he was capable of kicking my ass or something.
